My assistant knock on the door. I was informed ahead that a letter of invitation will be delivered to me by afternoon.





"Come in..." Without a second the door flushed open





"Young master Yuan, these are the details that you needed. Along with the letter that was specially delivered for you. Old master Yuan wanted his last will to be fulfilled immediately according to his wishes, it seems like your old man wanted to hurry you in a marriage." I nod in response





"I'll take it from here, you're dismissed" he gave a bow, and show himself the way out.





My hands slightly tremble as I took hold of the papers. These legal documents were made 3 years ago. The exact year when I last saw my best friend smiled. The same year when I promised him to take care of everything for the sake of his sister. And the same year when I lost the justice that should have been given in regards to the death of my best friend.





I am entitled to settle the agreement that we have, prior to his wishes, but things turned out differently.





I came home from a business trip only to know that his sister already made arrangements according to her wishes. I stopped myself from intervening, as I see that I'm in no right to control and make plans for her own good.





I've never met her in person, I only saw a couple of pictures from her brother, but she was way too young to be called a woman based from those pictures. Yet in reality records show that she's only a couple of years younger than me. I am about to turn 31 this December, while she turned 28 last month.





But it never occurred for me to look after her when the men I assigned for her told me that she left to study abroad for her own good. I still occasionally put surveillance to ensure her safety, but that was all that I could do.





Now looking at the papers, how would I get her to marry me? @@
