A Race to Melt Hearts

I hugged him back, and he lets me rest on his chest. He rubbed my back gently. I don't want to break this moment, but this is just a business deal. We shouldn't let strings get attached.

I slowly pulled away. He was confused at first, but he realised later on and caught the idea of why I moved away. We got awkward again.

"Would you want to eat again? Or shall we leave it this way?"

"We should move out, it's pretty late and I would be delighted to rest early. We should review our terms again when we meet."

"Shall we take care of the act that we'll be pulling when we go out of this building?"

"No need, just pull a normal act and let things flow according to what was planned."

"Shall we?" He offered his elbows.

"We shall" I grabbed his elbows and linked mine to his. Then he showed me the way out.

On the far corner of the street, across the resto, I saw an oblivious movement. So reporters has gotten the news about us meeting at this place. Hmm, I'll look forward upon seeing what news they'll bring in the morning.

"Too early, I see, the media has been observing us from afar." I murmured

"I see you have a sharp eye. There were approximately 3 on the far east corner at the end of the street, 4 at the back, another 3 at hall of the resto and 5 near our car..."

"There's another 2 at the side of the road if you haven't noticed" I whispered, then he glanced at me, while we continued walking, his arms shifted, so now he's holding my waist. Pulling me against his body giving me warmth, contrasting the cold weather that run shivers down my spine.

"Let the show begin"

He stopped at the middle of the road, since it's late at night less cars, or almost none passes the silent road.

He kneeled down, I was shocked at the gesture. He never said that this is a part of the plan. @@
