Chapter 41: Like Fish in Water

Looking at how ugly Wan Li looked, Ye Fei felt strangely happy. She walked past her humming a song and remembered to pause to look at Wan Li, “Wan Li, I am new so I am not too sure. Is it true that if we sell alcohol from the cellar, we get additional commission?”

Wan Li’s chest was heaving up and down aggressively. She forced herself to not go up and slap Ye Fei in the face. Angrily, she gritted her teeth and turned around to leave.

She found a wall to lean against. She breathed in and out heavily and sweat appeared on her forehead, smudging her makeup a little. Suddenly, she felt like vomiting. In a rush, Ye Fei ran to the nearest bathroom and began to puke.

In the stalls beside hers, a few other women working there were also puking. They glared at Ye Fei but didn’t speak. After all, at a time like this, nobody is better than the other and they didn’t have the energy to mock each other.

After some time, probably because a lot of the content in her stomach had been ejected, Ye Fei felt more comfortable. However, the high alcohol content has numbed her brain and her movements had gotten slower.
