In a village hidden in the leaves. Up in the Hokage's office.

"So wolf, can you explain to me why the Anbu didn't do their jobs and protect one boy." Hiruzen asks with a sigh.

"Hokage-sama, permission to speak without listeners." Kakashi says through his wolf mask.

Hiruzen waves his arm and the other 6 Anbu in the room clear out.

"Take off the mask Kakashi." Hiruzen says taking a puff from his pipe.

"Right..." Kakashi says taking off the mask his face looks visibly worried and he seems physically exhausted.

"So, no luck on Naruto? Do we have any traitors in the leaf, well besides those civilians." Hiruzen says not happy with his own Anbu ignoring his orders and not helping a toddler who is being starved and beaten by people who aren't even ninja.

"Well, about half our Anbu will need to be relived of their positions. Danzo's root ninja seemed to even encourage the civilians on beating the boy." Kakashi says his voice sounding distant and tired.

"Any clue on where Naruto went? I think I failed Kushina." Hiruzen says seeming sad.

"The jutsu that had him disappear. Which he did while he was bleeding out and bȧrėly conscious, had similarities to a reverse summoning jutsu." Kakashi answered.

"So, he may still be alive." Hiruzen says with a little bit of hope.

"We have some stuff that need to be changed. I just wish it didn't cost Minato Sensei's son." Kakashi says

"I think we should let the civilians know who's death they are currently celebrating." Hiruzen says gritting his teeth looking down at what seems to be a parade and a festival.

"The civilians council should also be sacked aswell." Kakashi says

"Tell me Kakashi, what are the odds of Danzo having kidnapped Naruto." Hiruzen says still looking out the window.

"I will look into it Hokag-sama." Kakashi says before leaving.

"He might be alive... I'm sorry I failed you Kushina Minato, I couldn't look after your son." Hiruzen says looking out the window.

"Where is the Jinchuriki!?" Danzo shouts in a secret underground base.

"We couldn't find him Danzo-sama. The civilians where beating him like normal for the demon when he just vanished." A root Anbu says his voice scarily completely void of any emotions.

"Find him! We can't have any other village find out we lost the nine tails!" Danzo shouts

"Great just great. Our only ally is the Sand, and we just lost our greatest weapon. If Iwa comes again will we even have the strength to answer." Danzo says looking at his massive board behind him which seems to be years worth of planning.

"I was so close to becoming Hokage." Danzo mutters looking at the plan again.

"Ashura's soul is gone!" An old man shouts

"No no no!! This couldn't possibly happen!" He shouts looking towards the tear in space which leads to a different world closing to quickly for him to get there.
