Another Bad Boy Down

With this in mind, I unconsciously mumbled to myself "Can I be the empress?"

I gasp when I realized that I actually blurted out what I was thinking. Good thing I only whispered it to myself. It will be too embarrassing if these men actually heard me. I wouldn't know how to answer them. I composed myself.

With a straight back and a confident demeanor, I walked towards Vincent. He is standing near the stairs, so when he saw me he smilingly took a step sideward and motioned for me to walk ahead of him. The corner of my lips twitched when I saw him acting like a gentleman. I didn't bother with his facade and directly proceeded towards the stairs.

I can hear the hubbub downstairs as I walk down the stairs. I raised my eyebrow when I heard some of their conversations. I'm quite impressed with this cafe, even though it is this noisy downstairs we didn't hear even a squeak upstairs. I guess this is why the second floor is exclusive for Neo and his friends.

"How long will that witch stay there??!! How dare she stay with master Neo this long??!!" a girls voice sounded.

"That **** thinks that she can seduce Master Neo? Huh! She is just a lowly servant the Tan family took pity of!! She is not worth Master Neo's time!" another girl said.

"I bet she is crying and acting pitiful upstairs because Master Neo won't give her even a glance!!" Another girl's voice sounded.

"Not only is she with Master Neo, Master Vincent even came!!! She must be thinking highly of herself! Who does she think she is?! "Another feminine voice said

"Master Vincent is just too kind. He only feels pity for that witch! We must help Master Vincent realize how black hearted that witch is!" a female voice said with indignation in her voice. Many more angry and irritating remarks followed after.

Those were some of the words I heard while coming down, the corner of my mouth twitched in annoyance.

Me?! Acting pitiful?? Seducing who??? Not worth who's time!!?? Little girls do you know who actually you're talking about? If you knew who actually invited me here and shamelessly blackmailed me to become his girlfriend will you still be able to say those words??!

I bet you will faint right on the spot! I feel wronged. How can they say such harsh words to an innocent beautiful girl like me? They should blame the devil instead! Why would I even seduce that sly man? He is only trouble!

With a cold and indifferent expression on, I entered the spotlight. Everyone turned their heads to my direction. Wow, I should win the award as Ms. Head turner or something. (-.-)

Their eyes showed mixed curiosity and hate. They didn't even disguise their true feelings. They glared at me like I just took their favorite toy.

I continued to walk forward without a care in the world. I was only able to walk 5 steps though, because I was blocked by Tweetle dee and Tweetle dum.
