Kreiss closed the book and he returned it to where he got it.

Kreiss really saw himself as a pencil. Before he met Sheloah, he had done a lot of reckless things that he'd usually regret.

He always rebelled against his parents and he would always skip school just to do anything that he wanted. He was smart, yes… but even though he was in the honor roll, his character was always on the down low. The school didn't want him to be in the list because of his bad character but because of his parents' occupation, they were swayed by their words.

A lot of girls liked Kreiss. They would always be the one to cover up his mistakes because they were usually head over heels for him. Kreiss never wanted to be involved with women but because of their dedication to him, he would just allow them to cover up for his mistakes. This made him look like an asshole. Rather—he was really an asshole.

Not long, Kreiss turned into a playboy in his last year in high school. Since then, he would really see the girls as erasers—easily replaced when they were already "worn out" or "useless" for him to use. He never liked any of those girls, yet he dated them just to kill time.

He was like that until Sheloah came.

Since he took the college exams, he saw Sheloah as the eraser that he never wanted to waste. In just one "erase" that she did, Kreiss had changed for the better. Sheloah had just told him to get what he wanted and to talk it out with his parents. With just that sentence, she had completely changed his life.

What is with that girl that other girls didn't have?

Since then, Kreiss had changed. It was because since then, he had fallen for Sheloah.

Kreiss' phone suddenly buzzed, making him stop his trail of thoughts. He took his phone from his pocket and had read the message, making him smirk.

Veon had already arrived.

Kreiss kept his phone and he took one last glace at Sheloah before he left. He smiled as he fixed her hair carefully. He kissed her forehead softly and whispered to her ear before leaving the room.

"I'll be back soon, my princess."
