Chapter 18 - Before The Training

So, in order to learn water magic, Crocell, Orobas, and I came to a nearby field. I'm sure I'll be learning magic in this field in the future.

"I'm going to show you the magic of water."

When Crocell said that, she continued to pour out water from both of her ten fingertips, and the water flew through the air and became a huge mass of water above her head.

"Whoa!"

I shouted with delight. I'm not sure if I can control this much water without reciting and without a magic circle.

"I ate the Goddess of Water and was able to obtain the same abilities as the Goddess of Water."

I had heard earlier that she had eaten the water goddess, but I wondered if that meant that she had munched her way through her mouth. I imagined such a picture and almost laughed a little.

"Norman is constitutionally incapable of natural magic, isn't he? How should I teach him?"

I've already explained to Crocell while walking that I'm constitutionally incapable of handling natural magic in the usual way. Nature magic is the art of manipulating and activating the countless minute spirits in the air. Fire, wind, water, and earth are the four major spirits that are well known.

"Well if that's the case......."

I showed Crocell my left hand and explained that I had been able to learn the magic of fire through a seance.

"I didn't know there was such a thing."

Crocell clasped her hands together in admiration.

"But what should I do.....? I don't think I'm as adept as Aim was."

Hmmm... Maybe I'll need to start with learning how to do a seance,.......

However, I had never learned about séances in class. This is because it is not covered in the basic course. I've read a lot of grimoires, so I know about it, but I don't think I can do it just because I have the knowledge....... The grimoire "Goetia" didn't even tell me how to do a seance. So, what should I do about it......?

I decided to put it on hold for now, and the three of us headed back home.

"Big brother, you're finally home!"

For some reason, my sister, who was supposed to be living in the mansion, was in front of the house. I wondered why my sister had come to my house? I wondered and came up with an idea. It might be a good idea to learn séance from my sister.
