It was the day after I was able to return from my female form to my original form. And the day of the duel was tomorrow.

Today I actually was supposed to go to school, but I decided to skip it. I can't use normal magic anyway, so there's no point in taking classes.

I was training for the seance over and over again, sparing no time to sleep.

At first, I felt pain every time I performed a seance, but as I repeated the seance over and over again, I got used to it, or maybe I just didn't mind anymore.

However, it was difficult to remember the right amount, and there were times when I did too much and my figure changed, or too little and the water magic did not work.

There was also a time when I thought I had succeeded because my figure did not change, and when I activated the water magic, it went out of control.

At that time, Crocell took over the water control for me, and I managed to get out of trouble.

That was how I explored and tried the seance.

"I hope it works next time......"

This was my dozenth seance.

The procedure itself had become familiar to me, and I was able to do it smoothly.

"Water, manifest aguocool."

Immediately, a light blue magic circle floated up in the air around my right hand.

And then a mass of water was created.

"It worked!!"

This time, it's under control, not spiraling out on itself.

"Congratulations, Master!"

"Congratulations, Master Norman!"

Orobas and Crocell congratulate me.

"Thanks, you two."

As I said that, I began to control the water that was activated.

I let out water from the tips of my five fingers and controlled it so that it danced in the air.

Then I gathered the water in a way that it eventually formed a large mass above my head.

"Yes!"

Apparently, I had more control than I thought.

I could control the water as I wanted.

"Oh, yes. I need to prepare for tomorrow's duel."

"What's a duel?"

Crocell tilted her head.

"Huh? Didn't I tell you?"

"Oh, I think your sister Nene said something like that......."

I'm pretty sure that's what she said when she taught me how to seance.

"I'm actually going to have a duel at school tomorrow."

"What? Isn't that dangerous?"

Crocell is worried.

"It's not that dangerous....."

Then I explained.

It's a great way to improve your magic skills.

Of course, it's not a life-threatening event, so don't worry.

You can get hurt, of course, but that's no problem because we have excellent healing magicians.

"The rules are that we must fire magic at each other until one of us is judged incapable of fighting."

"Masteeeer!! Please let me be your backup!"

"Oh, I want to come and support you, too!"

I've never taken the demons to school with me before.

I didn't want to show them how miserable I was, because they made fun of me at school.

"Yeah, sure."

But tomorrow was the day I was going to clear my name.

If they can come to support me, that would be encouraging.

But, you see, I've never been able to use magic before, so this is my first time in a duel. And my opponent is an excellent student, so I'll probably lose the duel. But I want to fight as good as I can."

Anyway, I need to get ready for the duel, but I don't know how.

"Master, please practice dueling with me!"

Orobas suggested.

"Oh, are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm willing to help my Master in any way I can!"

"I'd be happy to help you, too."

That's why I decided to practice dueling with Orobas and Crocell.
