Chapter 258: Chen Chenan always thought: Daddy’s really petty (2)

“You sneaky little…Mhm, you’ve been very good. Mommy and Daddy will bring you with us tonight,” Xin Siyue responded as he wished.

“Hooray!” Chen Chenan said excitedly, “Grandpa’s house has turtles! Turtles!”

After Xin Jin found out that Chen Chenan liked small animals, he ended up raising many small animals, such as white rabbits and so on. A while ago, he also started raising some fish and turtles.

But he had no idea that Chen Chenan didn’t actually like animals at all. He just liked bullying them.

When Chen Chenan first saw the little kitten in the Xin family’s home, he began chasing after it enthusiastically for the whole day just like a dog chasing after a flock of chickens. Even the garden where Bai Ning spent so much effort planing all her expensive flowers were spoiled beyond recognition.

After finding that out, Xin Siyue brought him to one corner of the living room and lectured him, telling him to apologize to his grandparents and to make sure he wouldn’t do it again.

But then, Chen Chenan cried and argued, “Mommy is biased! The kitty was wrong too! Why aren’t you scolding it!”

Xin Siyue was absolutely speechless. In the end, she was so pissed that she really didn’t know whether she should laugh or cry.

It was enough if Xin Jin and Bai Ning just stood at the side and didn’t help, but they were very accepting of his behavior. “It’s fine, Anan. It’s alright. The flowers are just gone. I can plant new ones. Everything’s fine as long as Anan is happy!”

Chen Chenan immediately dried his tears and smiled, “Grandpa, Grandma, Anan is very happy! The little kitty ran so fast, Anan couldn’t even catch up!”

Xin Qiancheng who had just walked over was completely oblivious. “Anan, if you can’t catch up then just try it a few more times. Try harder! You’ll catch it someday!”

Even though Chen Chenan couldn’t understand the deeper meanings of his words, what he did know was that his grandparents and uncle were on his side. So, every time they went back to the Xin family home, Chen Chenan would play to his heart’s content.

Xin Jin raised a small turtle, a very cute one. Chen Chenan loved teasing it or putting the turtle into the fish tank, watching it swim with the goldfishes. Then, he would reach out to catch the turtle or the goldfish while they were unaware.

Seeing them scurrying around made Chen Chenan smiled heartily.

When the three members of the Chen Sinan’s family arrived at the Xin family door, Chen Chenan said especially proudly to Chen Sinan, “Daddy! Uncle said he’ll buy me a car! I can drive a little car in the garden!”

Hearing that, Xin Siyue asked, “Don’t you already have several at home?”

“It’s different! This one’s from Uncle!”

Chen Sinan looked at him and touched his head. “Then you sleep together with Uncle tonight okay?”

Without even thinking, Chen Anan said, “Don’t wanna.”

“Why not?” Chen Sinan asked.

Chen Chenan stared at him, but he couldn’t find a reason why.

Chen Sinan went on, “You see, Uncle bought you so many gifts and even wants to give you a car today, but you don’t have a gift for Uncle, do you? If Uncle likes you so much, I’m sure Uncle will be very happy if you slept with him.”

Xin Siyue laughed. “Hey, what are you doing?”

“Nothing,” Chen Sinan responded in all seriousness.

Xin Siyue glanced at him. Who wouldn’t realize what he was trying to do tonight? He definitely has a bad reason for trying desperately to coax his son into sleeping together with Xin Qiancheng.

“Hey, can you lay back a little? My brother’s still unmarried, how would he know how to take care of a child? It’s better for Anan to sleep with us at night.”

Chen Sinan looked sadly at her and said, “Then let him sleep with mom. Mom has some experience in taking care of children at least.”

Xin Siyue eyed him and shook her head helplessly. She didn’t even feel like talking to him anymore.
