Tobias grab his stomach it hurts a little due to his laughing and he even shed tears!

"me? I did not! Hahaha!"

Tobias retorted, amused.

"you did! You told me that you missed me! With a double meaning!"

Tobias looked abruptly at her, her face was red due to embarrassment. How could he? He just told her that he missed her without any other meaning!

He stared at her for a while with mischief in his eyes. He was bemused by her!

"babe, I just told you that I missed you. No more other meaning, you...you just assumed that! Hahaha"

He can't helped himself laughing. Maria looked so cute!

Tobias poked her side, teasing her.

Maria shouted frustratedly, and smacked his hands away from her.

Tobias stopped and controlled his laughing hard! Because he was holding it with so much effort,

"what's that? Ow yuck! So gross!"

Maria whined loudly, covered her nose and looked at him disgustingly.

Maria ignored him and opened the envelop he gave her. He wanted to know what's inside but he chose not to. Tobias respected Jake, to make himself busy he played with his Tasha.

He stole a glance at Maria now and then to see what's her reaction, that way he can have a clue what's Jake's letter about. Tobias had a hunch but he wasn't sure.

After a few minutes, he saw that Maria was still looking at the letter with an unreadable expression. He felt a little bit nervous about her reaction but he kept his mouth shut, even though he was itching to know what's going on with her!

Maria turned to him completely, there he saw sadness was written all over her face! She was holding her tears because of her redden eyes!

'why does she looks like this? Why would she reacted like this?'

Tobias thought to himself, feeling the frustration that creeping inside him.

"I felt sorry for Jake, he's been good to me and our babies. He did everything he could to help us without asking anything in exchange."

Maria speak sadly and tears began to fall from her eyes. She looked like she was broken and his heart ached so much to saw her in that state.

Tobias just kept quite to gave her the chance to talked her heart out.

"He's been our saviour during those times that you weren't there for us, I'm sorry to brought it up. But in that short span of time, I developed a feelings for him,..."

Tobias felt his heart was been electrocuted for what he heard from her. He was trembling inwardly, fearing what would be her next words!
