"Okay."

Maria said, then she took a deep breath and look at the man's eyes.

"the Twins and I are staying here. We're just going to call him, and we ate already. We're just going to wait for him in his Office."

Maria smiled at the man. Still not convinced.

The man was shocked, and Maria saw it!

'bingo!' Maria thought happily 'you dumbass! You cant trick me!'

Maria forced a sweet smile and a strong posture to tell the man that she and the babies were not going with him!

Thankfully the babies were behaved. They just look at her and then to the man. Back and forth!

But deep down, she was screaming in fear! Her back was full of cold sweats! Trembling!

The man stepped towards her and the babies. She silently prayed that somehow, someone might walk here!

"you are coming with----"

"excuse me maam?"

The man froze on his track!

Maria's eyes open wide a little bit more!

'oh God! You heard me!'

She was thanking God in her mind!

"we're not done!"

He gave her a death glare and walk off!

"excuse me maam Maria? Are you looking for Sir Tobias?"

A Lady on her late 20's approached them. Maria knew her, she was working in a financial department.

Maria felt all her energy drained. Her knees shaken and she fell to the floor. But she did not let go of the twins stroller. The lady screamed, but thats all Maria can remember.

When she opened her eyes, she saw a one pair of eyes. She blinked twice, and then she bolted up abruptly.

"where are my babies?!"

Maria shouted, fear can be hear on her voice.

Tobias hugged her tightly.

"sshh... The babies were safe. They fell asleep waiting for you to wake up."

Tobias assured her, and pointed on her left side. There, her twins sleep soundlessly on the bed.

Maria let out a cry of relief. Tobias patted her back gently and lovingly.

"i thought he was going to take us!"

"whos going to take you?"

Tobias asked, totally confused.

"that man Tobias! He said he was going to take us to you!"

Maria explained while crying and shaking at the same time.

Tobias felt a shiver to his spine.

"what are you taking about?"

Who the hell was that?!!

Maria told him what happened in between cries and shivers. That way, Tobias found out that today, his family was almost been abducted!!

He hugged Maria tightly but with gentle. Tobias swore that he is going find that man, and let him pay for what he had done to his family!

He also prayed. Thanking God that his family were now safe. Tobias let Maria cried her heart out. He whispered endless sweet words to her to ease her pain.

Maria fell asleep again, but before she dozzed off.

"dont leave us... Tobby. Stay with us, so we can... be safe."

Maria hiccup and finally sleep.
