"what?what are you talking about?! No!" her mother exclaimed while talking to the phone

"he can't do this to us! Ahh! " her mother shouted throwing the phone at the sofa.

"mom, what's wrong? "

Maria asked curiously

"The company called me and said that your father pulled out all the shares and now we're doomed because he never left us even a single cent! " her mother said furiously and finally break down and cry.

It's been a year since her father left them. Everything seems alright for them excluding the times when she heard her mother silently crying in her bedroom. They able to survive their daily lives because they canstill get their shares from the company her father is working.But this day is different , her heartless father pulled out all their shares and never give them even a single amount. She sometimes think if that man is really her father?How can he do that to them?To his own family? His attorney said that we should be still thankful because he left us this house.What the f**k!

"Mom, sshhhh.. " Maria hugged her mother.She needs to be strong for her.

"how can we survive if we don't have money? "

her mother asked

"I have my personal account, we can use that. " Maria offered

"No,we can't!it's for your education. "

her mother disagreed

"but we have to,we need to mom. it's okay. "

she assured her mother.

" I'm sorry baby, it'sall my fault. " her mother speak blaming herself.

"no mom,don't blame yourself. We can survive to this. I promise you. " she hugged her mother

"I love you,baby.I love you so much always remember that. " her mother said to her , hugging her back.

Maria came back to reality and sighed,if she knew that,that night will be the last night she will be able to hug her mother she will held her tight. She might not went to her friends house to attend a birthday party. She will stay from her mother side till morning.

That's why her mother was avoiding her and pushing her to go. That's why.

Her heart ached even more. Maria stop thinking about her past when she felt her tears brimming in her eyes. She composed herself and continue to walk and find a job.

"I'm sorry Miss, but we are looking for a college graduate. "

the hiring officer tells her.

"but I can do that sir. I can guarantee you.Please sir! " Maria pleaded.

She needs to beg him. She really needs this.

Maria walked out from the building with her head down.She felt so helpless. She felt like crying. Maria thinks the earth was against her.

Is it her fault that she's an undergrad?!She spent half of her savings in her mothers burial and the remaining is for her daily expenses in her house monthly bills. And now she's going to be broke!

Maria pitied herself.

She keep on walking till her legs and feet felt numb.Maria decided to stop and take a rest. When she raise her head she saw that she's at the front of a bar. An idea lit in her mind.
