"Maria!"

Tobias shouted when he saw Maria's body slowly falling. He heard shouting from the comfort room and he heard Maria's screamed. It seemed that she was in pain, so he hurriedly walked towards the comfort room just to found out this scene!

He was so shocked and nervous at the same time when he hastily run towards her. It looked liked it was being slow motioned.

Tobias was so frustrated, he was praying to catch her on time!

He caught her!

Yes!

He caught her head and her waist!

But, due to gravity and Maria's weight, her bottom still hit the floor!

He's eyes wide open in so much panic!

Tobias saw Maria's eyes bulged out, it was red and tears were continuously falling down. He looked immediately at her stomach, she was protecting it!

His heart ached on what he witnessed. He looked at Charlotte's paled face. Tobias walked towards her and grabbed her arm tightly.

"you! If there's something bad happen to my family, you better hide!"

he speak between his greeted teeth. He was so good at this time that he didn't smash her head on the wall!

"fam...family?"

Charlotte asked him, shuttered. Her face became paler when the thought hit her.

Her question was answered when Maria scream. Tobias turned back to her, he was so mad at himself that he forgot what happened to Maria!

He faced his anger first, before his family?!

He was beyond stunned to saw Maria's bare hands was now covered in her own blood!

Tobias watched the blood from her hands to the floor. Was he imagining things?! He ran to her and carry her in his arms.

He became deaf for that moment, all he heard was Maria's crying in so much pain and anxiety.

"sshhh, you should be strong, be strong for our babies"

he tried to calmed her down. He was thankful to saw ambulance was already arrived, it seemed the restaurant already called for it.

Tobias watched as Maria slowly closed her eyes.

"my babies"

she mumbled tiringly and fought from sleepiness.

"babe, please don't sleep. Hold on, I'm here!"

he quickly went inside the ambulance and held her hands tightly.

Maria kept on murmuring about her babies while crying. Tobias felt his heart was being stab a hundred times to saw and heard her.

He didn't felt a tear escaped his eyes. He will never forgave his self if there will be bad happened to his family.

Tobias was praying with all his might, he will exchange anything willingly, just spare their lives!

Outside the operating room, Tobias was walking back and forth anxiously. He didn't know what to do! He already called God and all the saints just to let them heard him.

Its been an hour since they put Maria inside the room but the doctor didn't come out. He was dying from so much nervousness and panicked!

Suddenly the door swung opened and the doctor came out looking tired. He can't see his face because he was still wearing a mask. So, he can't point out what was his emotions!

He walked towards him and asked the doctor nervously. He was so f**king afraid to know what would be the doctor will answer him! He collected all his courage and strength to question the doctor.

"doc, how's my family?"
