The North Pacific route from Central America to the Kamchatka Peninsula can be divided into four sections. The kingdom’s ports and supply points along the way are summarized in this chapter.

The first section: the West Bay Navigation, which is the Mexican section of the Gulf of California, is about 4,000 miles long. This section is blocked by the Lower California Peninsula and does not have any particularly strong ocean currents. The climate is mainly tropical monsoon climate in the south and tropical desert climate in the north. The tropical desert climate has little rainfall throughout the year, so struvite is produced.

The second section: the West Coast Passage, which is today’s West Coast of the United States, is about 5,000 miles long. The first half of this section of ocean current is the California Cold Current from north to south, and the last half is the Alaska Warm Current. The climate is a Mediterranean climate in the south-central part, with rainfall concentrated in autumn and winter, and a temperate maritime climate in the north.

The third section: the extreme north coast route, the Alaska route, is six to seven thousand miles away. The ocean current in this section is the Alaska Warm Current, and the climate is a subarctic oceanic climate.

Section 4: The Shenqi Island Chain route, which is the Aleutian Island chain, is about five to six thousand miles away. The ocean currents in this section are very changeable, the sea conditions along the narrow strip of the island chain are very complex, and the climate is still a sub-arctic marine climate.

Specific routes: Shendadi Port (N55° north latitude, W163° west longitude) - Shendaoshan Port (N52° north latitude, W174° west longitude) - Supply point of Shenxue Island (N53° north latitude, W173° east longitude) - - Shenshuangyan Port (Kamchatka Peninsula, Itelmen Mountains, N53° north latitude, W158° east longitude).

The total distance of the new route is more than 20,000 miles along the coast. The span it passes is very large, and the changes in wind direction are also very complex. Summer is generally affected by the Hawaiian high pressure, winter is affected by the Aleutian low pressure, and the southward-moving Hawaiian high pressure... Simply put, the farther north you go, the harder it is to sail. The third and fourth sections are navigable half a year and are only suitable for summer and autumn navigation. Although the second section is navigable year-round, winter storms are more severe on the west coast. The first section is suitable for sailing all year round.
