Chapter 29: A Toast

____________________「Ara?　Welcome back, Vulcan-chan, and Aria-chan too~?」

After subjugating the minotaur――

Arnold greeted Aria and co who just returned to the guild.

During those short moments, Tama who received a wink from Arnold is cursing inside while almost puking.

「Please judge the completion of our commission, Ana-san. OOps……….」

Vulcan drops her backpack on the counter and starts to line up the contents on the table. The things she’s taking out are………… The body parts of the minotaur that has been drained of it’s blood. Ears of the goblins, and the tentacles of those loopers.

There’s also minotaur claws and horns.

It’s because Vulcan is used to dismantling the material in her own store.

「Ara, this wound…….. Isn’t caused by Vulcan-chan, isn’t it? 」

「Nyaa~. That was the wound that caused by Aria-chan’s new skill. In fact, she awakened her derivate skill during the commission」

「Wow, Derivate skill?　That’s amazing you see. You did it, Aria-chan?」

Arnold is winking at her again when (s)he learned the news.

Aria replied with a smile.

「Well then, since it’s going to take a while to judge the material, will you wait like the usual」

「Rogernyaa!　Do you have other plans after this, Aria-chan? 」

「No, I don’t have anything planned. If you insist, I want to Nyan-nyan with Tam-………. Cough……. Shall we go out to buy our dinner? 」

(A~h…….. It seems that rumor is true……………)

She’s hesitating to ask Aria about that matter. About the rumor she heard recently. The rumor that Aria’s preference is……….. THAT.

But it’s not like Vulcan has any intention to blame Aria for that.

In the first place she herself is a demi-human whose ancestor is said to be a tiger. Though rare, she has met similar people whose preference is to mate with the animals that might have the possibility of crossbreeding with other species.

「In that case, how about us celebrating the first completion of our party commission in a bar room?　I’ve a lot of spare time since I closed my shop today」

Aria’s elf ears sway up and down after hearing Vulcan’s proposal. The reason she’s happy…………. Is because Aria loves the dishes cooked in the bar-room of the guild, unlike when she becomes too preoccupied by those wooing her when she ate alone, it should be okay if she eats with another person.

「Let’s get going nyan」

「U~~~hn!　This place dishes is the best! 」

「Nyaa~. The guild dishes are too wonderful nya~! 」

Aria and Vulcan is praising the dishes after tasting all of them. Tama is also eating delightfully from Aria’s hand. Their menu consists primarily of seafood. This city with canals spread all over it is indeed close to the sea. Therefore, seafood is the staple food.

Carpaccio of white meat fish, bouillabaisse of who know how many fishes, Soup pasta in shellfish………. Everything is delicious.

Amongst those lined up, the one which pleases them the most is the fried Hobawl shrimp.

Hobawl shrimp is the name of the specialty of this place. It’ll grow to an arms length when it’s reached adulthood, it’s called by name lobster of the river. What differs them is the fact that Hobawl shrimp color is closer to blue. And it has a mellow flavor. Unique sweetness and a chewy but tender texture. That Hobawl shrimp is divided in half in the bar room and then grilled. Since it comes with garlic sauce, chilli sauce and butter sauce, there’s many ways to enjoy it.

The rest is omitted but―― By the time the dish is served on the table, Aria is looking at Tama and butter sauce with slightly rough breathing………….. But Tama and Vulcan decided to overlook that fact.

(Nevertheless……….. It’s truly a nice scenery)

Tama pondering so while opening his mouth to receive the food thats carried by Aria with her fork while saying 「A~hn」.

The beautiful neat elf Aria. And the beautiful tiger eared and lively Vulcan.

He wondered about it before, but the two of them were making a beautiful friendship scene. In addition to that, the liquor that they were drinking was causing a slight blush on their faces which doubled their cuteness.

No one is coming to woo Aria today.

There’s Vulcan who was drinking along with her, but Tama is standing by on top of the table to threaten any male that was trying to approach them.

Tama’s hidden power had already become some sort of rumor after their duel with Kassman.

Do not………… Mess with him.

「N-Nya~~ I feel good nya~!　Another glass nya~?」

「Fufu, me too then……….」

Vulcan and Aria are refilling their liquor.

(Today is going to be long huh…………..)

Tama is smiling wryly inside while enjoying Aria’s hand brushing his head while holding her refill in another hand.
