Chapter 42.2 : The Last Moment of Powerful One

____________________Raising a mewl, the little monster―― Let’s just call it “Weak One”―― Tried to dodge my attack.

But, despite my huge size, my body is quite nimble. This weak one won’t make it in time to dodge my claw. Then, the weak one raised another mewl.

In the next moment, it’s body turned a metallic grey color. And then――

But, it still failed to completely protect itself. My claw carved a deep mark on the weak one’s body.

I gave my praise. Because it survived my attack despite still in it’s infant state.

But, this is the end. Opening my mouth, I bring my head closer to the Weak One. It looks delicious after all. Thus I wanted to eat it.

『What do you want, O weak one. Why do you come back to this place despite managing to escape from this great one? 』

When the Weak One mewled in that way to answer my question, it fired a breath accompanied by blazing flame toward me.

I’m laughing in delight. My revenge match with the guy who blinded one of my eyes―― I don’t care about it’s reason for appearing before me for the second time as long as I can get my revenge.

Our fight intensified to the point that I think there’s no end to this. My body is covered with numerous light wounds, while on the other hand the body of the Weak O――No, let’s change it’s name to “Little One” ―― is completely fine.

The Little one has numerous skills, moreover it keeps dodging my attacks with it’s superior mobility, or else parrying them.

It seems that it can see that I have a hard time moving with just one eye. Such a wonderful guy. There’s no way I can call it “Weak One”.

Such a blissful moment!　This is the first time since I was born that I experienced such a heated battle.

I must be born to fight this Little One. I felt so.
