Dark magic has a natural advantage in terms of offensive capabilities, and Aurors, limited by their status, cannot compare to dark wizards like the Mole in their mastery of dark magic.
In such a complex environment, the Explosion Curse, a highly destructive spell, is undoubtedly a deadly weapon.
Anyone present who gets hit, except Eric, will be going to meet Merlin.
Some Aurors attempted to imitate Amelia Boons's techniques, using the Water Cleansing Charm to combat the flames.
But to his surprise, the water he summoned was instantly evaporated upon contact with the flames.
It didn't even have the slightest effect of blocking anything.
The mole grinned maliciously, pointed his wand, and a ball of flame surged toward the Auror.
The Auror was caught off guard and was instantly engulfed by the flames.
A piercing scream echoed through the Forbidden Forest, as if the soul of that Auror was being burned along with it.
With a sudden burst of power, the mole displayed strength surpassing that of all other Aurors.
Here, not a single Auror could stop him in the slightest, not even half a step.
Just as it was about to break through the encirclement, the mole suddenly remembered something, stopped, and looked in Eric's direction.
The wooden wall in front of Eric remained intact; the blast spell had not affected it.
Just as he was looking around, a voice with a hint of laughter suddenly appeared in his ear: "What are you looking for? Are you looking for Blake?"
The mole was startled and quickly turned around. Instinctively, he slightly moved his wand, and an armor spell immediately appeared on his body.
The next moment, Eric's spell sent him flying.
The mole was sent flying with a thud. The armor on its body took the hit, and its light immediately dimmed, as if it would shatter at the slightest touch.
The armor spell cannot stop the flames.
The mole itself was sent flying, rolling twice on the ground, burned by the flames it had summoned, and was in excruciating pain.
He lay on the ground, looking in astonishment at Eric, who was standing where he had just been.
When did Eric get close to him?
Seeing the mole being knocked away, the two dark wizards following closely behind him launched a joint attack on Eric.
"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"
"Disembowelment!"
Eric turned slightly, dodging the first Crucifixion at close range. With a flick of his wand, a sharp stone spike was lifted from the ground, just enough to scatter the Guts Curse that was coming from behind.
The stone spikes followed their original upward trajectory, piercing through the dark wizard who was closest to Eric.
The black wizard was lifted into the air by the stone spikes, his abdomen torn open. He opened his mouth wide to scream, but his whole body was convulsing and his muscles were tense, so he couldn't make a sound.
Seeing his companion fall in one round, the remaining dark wizard panicked and prepared to cast an armor spell on himself to buy time for the mole.
"The gut-ripping curse? Here you go."
Eric pointed his wand, and the same spell struck the dark wizard at lightning speed.
Poor thing, his armor spell was just finished being prepared when Eric's spell struck him, and only then did a semi-transparent halo appear in front of him.
The armor charm has no effect on a spell that has already taken effect.
The dark wizard was knocked to the ground, dropped his wand, and began to howl in pain, clutching his stomach.
He felt as if his intestines were getting knotted, as if someone was constantly cutting his abdomen with a razor blade.
A moment later, the black wizard bent over, lay on the ground, and began to retch.
He vomited up clumps of human tissue.
The black wizard's face was covered in snot, his eyes were bloodshot, and he continued to scream, but because his throat was blocked, he could only make muffled groans.
The flames around him were still raging, and the mole finally stood up again.
He turned around and found himself all alone.
Of the five henchmen who came with him, two were controlled by Eric's polymorph, one was knocked down by an Auror's spell, and the remaining two teammates who followed him in the breakout were instantly killed by Eric in one move!
Hearing his teammate's painful retching, the mole felt a chill run down his spine.
Eric's magic was precise and ruthless.
If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he really wouldn't have believed what he was seeing.
"How did you know we were here to see Blake?!" the mole asked through gritted teeth.
While asking questions, the mole didn't stop, casting several spells at Eric.
Eric's armor charm lit up, and he waved away the mole's spell, laughing, "If you're wondering why, it's probably because our Minister of Magic is Fudge. If he's the one you're following, he shouldn't have noticed anything. And tonight, the Minister was supposed to meet with me anyway. If you weren't here for Black, I really can't think of anything else worth taking such a risk for."
The mole asked, "How did you know we were following Fudge?"
Eric cast a spell, repelling the mole once more, and said, "I don't know."
"you do not know?!"
Eric nodded and said, "Yes, I don't know. I'm just prepared to accept whatever comes tonight, no matter who it is or how they get here. It's just that among all the options, the possibility that someone followed Fudge is too great to ignore."
Eric concluded with a laugh: "After all, our minister isn't someone who can keep things strictly confidential. He lacks a sense of security and makes a lot of noise, so it's not normal for him not to leak information. I guess you have a mole among the Aurors, right? That's why you were able to get here so quickly without attracting anyone's attention."
Eric joked, "Who's your mole? Is it the one you killed at the beginning? Grindelwald is really ruthless to his men."
"You know who we are!" the mole exclaimed upon hearing Eric mention Grindelwald's name.
"So it really is true," Eric said in surprise.
He was just making a casual lie, and the mole actually admitted it right away.
The mole realized he had spoken out of turn and cursed loudly.
He wore a mask, obscuring his face, but behind that mask, his expression was extremely unpleasant.
Chapter 141 Crush
Conventional spells could not break through Eric's defenses. The mole wand swung forcefully, stirring up the surrounding flames, which transformed into a long snake shape in the air and rushed towards Eric.
"Stop the spell instantly." Eric raised his wand high and tapped it lightly; the fire serpent vanished instantly.
The mole looked at Eric in surprise.
He had originally intended to use the spell to buy time or find an opportunity.
Unexpectedly, it was completely useless against Eric.
Being able to instantly break free from one's own polymorph spell using a dispelling spell is something not everyone can do.
Eric's ability to do this proves that his magic and understanding of Transfiguration are definitely superior to the mole's!
In other words, the mole has reached a dead end at this moment.
Isolated and helpless, with teammates either dead or injured, and Aurors all around.
The scene was also set up with a spell to counter Apparition, so even if he managed to create space to use magic, he couldn't Apparition directly to leave.
Even so, the mole did not give up the fight.
He has a wealth of combat experience.
When his first attack failed, he immediately chose to create distance, and at the same time, he tapped his wand repeatedly. Following Eric's example, several soft vines suddenly sprang out from beside Eric, attempting to wrap around Eric's limbs.
Eric pulled the flames that the mole had just summoned to his side, forming a shield of fire that burned away the branches and vines.
Taking advantage of the opening, the mole unleashed a powerful Avada Kedavra curse, a chilling green light carrying an extremely malevolent aura as it flew toward Eric.
With a flick of his wand, Eric pulled up an earthen wall from the ground, blocking the killing curse.
The Death Curse punched a large hole through the earthen wall, its power undiminished.
But this brief delay was enough for Eric to easily dodge the deadly curse.
Eric tapped his wand again, and the earthen walls merged and compressed together, transforming into a mud giant that roared and charged at the mole.
The mole countered the move by unleashing the Explosion spell again, instantly blasting the earth giant to pieces.
Eric had already run to his side and unleashed three spells in quick succession.
A spell struck the mole's feet, and the ground beneath the mole suddenly collapsed, interrupting the mole's prepared spellcasting action. The mole lost its balance and fell to the ground.
The second spell was the levitation spell, which lifted the mole up by Eric and pulled him into the air.
The mole was terrified and could only barely put on an armor spell.
The translucent armor spell had barely appeared when Eric's third spell arrived.
With a loud bang, the mole's armor was shattered by the blow, and he was once again sent flying by Eric's knockback spell.
The series of exchanges between the two left everyone else at the scene dumbfounded.
At this point, all of the mole's companions had lost their ability to fight.
The surviving Aurors gathered with Amelia Bones and watched in horror as Eric beat the mole.
The mole's strength is undoubtedly top-notch; he is a pure black wizard.
If he were to face any one of these people alone, probably no one would be able to escape his deadly move.
But even such a powerful dark wizard was like a puppet in front of Eric, repeatedly getting beaten up.
The Aurors were sweating profusely, feeling a sense of relief at having escaped death.
If Eric weren't here today, they would all probably be dead.
The mole, sent flying, rolled several times before finally crashing into a tree root and coming to a stop. Despair filled his eyes as he asked, "Who are you?"
Eric said in surprise, "You all managed to come here with Fudge without ever investigating me? I thought you already remembered my name when I met Clement."
The mole's pupils dilated instantly: "You are... Eric Clapton!"
The mole then gave a wry smile: "I thought their rumors about you were false..."
Eric raised an eyebrow. "You've revealed quite a bit of information."
It's them again, and it's just rumors.
Eric nodded: "Yes, it's me. Okay, enough talk, let's deal with him."
