Aaron sat on Abe's back for more than an hour, and they didn't get close to their destination until noon.
Ottley-St. Cazipol, Devonshire.
Aaron looked down at the green fields and trees below and searched carefully for a while before finding a crooked building that was at least four stories high outside the village.
"This must be the humble abode."
Aaron muttered, because this strange building was the only one in the vicinity with signs of magic, probably a Muggle banishment spell that made it unnoticed by Muggles.
Abe landed with a low growl, transforming into the size of a normal cat on a grassy field and changing into its own clothes to cover its wings and ears.
Aaron straightened his clothes. After all, it was his first time here, and the whole family were Gryffindors, so his Slytherin identity made him a little nervous.
With his backpack on and petting the dragon, Aaron headed towards the Burrow.
Only after getting closer did he truly understand what Draco meant by "extremely poor".
The Burrow looked like a few small houses pieced together by magic, crooked and leaning, supported by a few pillars in the middle, with a few chimneys emitting smoke on top.
There is a garden, but there are probably more weeds than flowers, and there are also many harmful garden animals, gnomes.
There was a small pond, but just by listening to the sounds, you could tell that there were more frogs than fish; it was practically a frog pond.
Upon closer inspection, you'll see a stone-built pigpen with several white pigs inside, as well as a number of free-range chickens.
"call!"
Aaron looked at the sign in front of the house that read "Humble Abode" in large characters and breathed a sigh of relief, confirming that he had not come to the wrong place.
Like the Malfoys, the Weasleys have distinct characteristics: one is incredibly poor, while the other is extremely wealthy.
It stands out from the crowd; you can spot it immediately when it's in a pile of houses.
Chapter 131 Ministry of Magic Internal Bounty
Before he even reached the door, Aaron could hear cheerful laughter coming from inside.
There was Ron's voice, and his two older brothers Fred and George's voice, but to his surprise, there seemed to be Harry Potter's voice in one of them.
Upon seeing the figure outside the door and window, Harry suddenly stood up from his seat and asked in surprise, "Aaron, what are you doing here?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Ron, George, and Fred all turned to look at the door.
Although they had a good impression of Aaron, he was, after all, a Slytherin, and it was somewhat surprising that he came without an invitation.
"Um... could you let me in before I answer that question?" Aaron said apologetically. "After all, it's not easy to come all this way, it's hundreds of kilometers away!"
The twins, George and Fred, exchanged a glance and opened the door before Harry and Ron could react.
"Please come in, please come in, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Thank you, George."
One of the twin brothers paused for a moment, "You recognize me?"
"I didn't recognize him at first, but I do now."
“Actually, I’m George,” the other twin brother said, pointing to himself with a hint of grievance.
“Okay, Fred.” Aaron said, then looked at Weasley, who had opened the door for him. “I understand, George.”
The twin brothers looked at each other and shook their heads in unison, "It's boring."
“Aaron, are you here to visit the Burrow?” Harry asked.
“Not really, to be precise, I’m here to seek refuge,” Aaron explained, then looked at Harry. “I’m actually quite surprised to see you here.”
"Your aunt and uncle, and your older cousin, actually let you out? Do they have any conscience?"
“Of course not.” Ron said indignantly, “You have no idea how miserable Harry’s holiday was.”
They didn't give him food and locked him in a small room with the windows sealed shut.
“There were locks all over the outside of the house; Vernon had at least a dozen for me,” Harry added with a wry smile. “My status in that house was no different from that of a servant.”
"So...you escaped too?" Aaron's lips twitched slightly, and his gaze toward Harry held a newfound seriousness and respect.
He had flying equipment, illusion spells, a meticulous plan, and most importantly, the funds to escape, which allowed him to easily traverse hundreds of kilometers.
Harry had nothing, yet he still managed to achieve the same thing; it's truly remarkable.
“Also…” Harry raised an eyebrow, “So you also…”
"It's a long story." Aaron sat in a chair and sighed wistfully. "Life is tough!"
You might think your vacation is unbearable, but compared to mine, you'll know what true happiness is.
"It can't be that exaggerated!" Ron said with some skepticism. "You're treated like a young master. Would anyone in your family dare to bully you?"
"Yes, butler Genes. Before my dad left, he had him sign me up for four tutoring classes."
Of course, this is nothing to me, just four courses, I can handle it.
But a tiny, minor mishap occurred, and the tutoring session took a tiny, tiny bit longer. "Aaron said, holding up his index finger and thumb, the gap between the two fingers seemingly infinite.
"To put it bluntly, I only slept an average of less than six hours a day during this holiday."
"That's so mean!" Ron's eyes widened, his gaze full of suspicion. "Are you even his biological son?"
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Aaron rolled his eyes at him. "Sleeping six hours a day will have some impact on the body, but it's easy for a wizard to make up for that loss."
To easily exploit my potential, Genes went to extreme lengths, even dangling a completely unattainable promise – it was outrageous.
“This doesn’t sound so bad,” Harry murmured. “At least it’s a little better than my uncle’s family.”
"Hehe!" Aaron patted Harry on the shoulder and said meaningfully, "If you were in his shoes, you wouldn't think that way."
"Aaron, how did you escape?" George asked with interest. "We snatched Harry out in my dad's flying car on his birthday."
Harry, Fred, and George exchanged a glance, a smile spreading across their faces. "That's a pretty good birthday present."
"Wait, were you brought out by them?"
"Yes! Even if I wanted to run away, I wouldn't have the ability."
Aaron pursed his lips, finding his previous thoughts laughable.
But thinking about it carefully, it makes sense. Harry can't use magic, has no money, and it's already quite difficult for him to get out of that cage-like house. If he could cross half a country to get to the Burrow without anyone's help, it would be nothing short of a miracle.
"You guys did a really good job." Aaron rarely gave a thumbs up. "Who came up with this terrible idea?"
"Hiding someone in the Muggle world in a magical car—if the Ministry of Magic catches them, Mr. Arthur's job is ruined. You could have solved the problem in a much gentler way."
“There’s nothing we can do, we’re just too worried.” Ron shrugged. “I’ve written so many letters to Harry, but I haven’t received a single reply.”
Not just mine, but Hermione's, Hagrid's...
Wait, you don't seem to have written a letter to Harry, do you?
"We went through the trapdoor together, what happened to being friends?"
Upon hearing this, Harry realized what was happening, a hint of resentment in his eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey! This isn't my fault."
My holiday was even worse than Harry's! I didn't have time to write letters!
Besides, even if I wrote it, given their family's personalities, the letter would never reach him.
"It seems...to be true!"
Harry gave a wry smile, secretly relieved that Dobby had intercepted his letters.
Otherwise, the letters Ron and his crew sent would definitely have to go through the Vernons' eyes first, and if there were any valuable items, such as gold coins, they would have kept them for themselves and left nothing for him.
If it's just ordinary mail with no value, they'd probably just glance at it and burn it as firewood.
But if it's a notice from the Ministry of Magic, for example, that he can't use magic freely, then they'll be eager to show off their power.
To put it bluntly, it was less like sending a letter to him and more like sending a letter to the Vernon family, and what would ultimately reach him was definitely not good news.
“Don’t change the subject,” Fred said with amusement. “You still haven’t told me how you escaped.”
"You traveled all this way by yourself, you must have made careful preparations!" George asked with interest.
"Oh, this!" Aaron scratched his head sheepishly. "Can I not tell you?"
"No!" the four said in unison.
"What perfect teamwork," Aaron thought to himself, before telling them his escape plan.
Of course, the idea of riding a giant dragon was too exaggerated and not suitable for them to know, so he made some modifications to the details of the escape route. However, his modified plan was extremely similar to some people's ideas.
“That’s amazing,” George exclaimed. “You actually thought of hiding in the sewers to look for an opportunity; most people don’t have that kind of courage.”
“And traveling at night using a magic carpet, that sounds even more interesting than our cars,” Fred said. “By the way, can we see your magic carpet?”
These flying devices are very rare on the market, and some people even classify them as contraband.
“No problem.” Aaron agreed without hesitation.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Mr. Arthur Weasley appeared at the door with his wife, Molly.
"Children, we're back!" Arthur called out, but after a moment his gaze fell on Aaron. "Who are you?"
“Aaron Gaius, just call me Aaron,” Aaron said politely.
Arthur and Molly exchanged a glance, their lips unconsciously curving upwards, and a strange light flickered in their eyes.
Aaron felt a little guilty about this change in expression, because Abe did the same thing when he encountered his favorite dishes.
“Um, sir,” Harry introduced, “Aaron is a friend of Ron's and mine, from our time at Hogwarts…”
“Excuse me, Harry, just a moment.” Arthur interrupted Harry Potter, then frantically searched his person for something.
He searched through all his pockets and finally pulled out a photograph from his inner pocket.
"Found it, this is it." Arthur excitedly glanced at his wife, then walked up to Aaron and carefully compared them. "That's right, it's not that it's very similar, but it's exactly the same."
"Sir, what...does this mean?"
“Aaron Gaius, it came to me without any effort!” Arthur exclaimed, only then noticing that his three children and Harry Potter were all looking at him blankly.
"What do you want to see me do?"
