Professor McGonagall opened the door to the principal's office, and everyone left one after another.

However, before leaving, Professor Snape gave Harry Potter a deep look and let out a disgruntled snort.

“Sit down, Harry.” Dumbledore stroked Fawkes and said with a smile, “I have to thank you. You must have shown absolute loyalty to me in the Chamber of Secrets to be able to summon Fawkes.”

Secondly, I sense something is bothering you, isn't that right?

Harry nodded awkwardly. "Sir, why do I speak Parseltongue? What does this have to do with Tom Riddle?"

"You noticed?" Dumbledore seemed unsurprised and said calmly, "If I'm not mistaken, when he left you with the scar, he also transferred some of his magic to you."

He didn't mean it, but it's true, because you have a great mother.

Just then, the door was flung open, and Lucius Malfoy stormed in, followed by a trembling Dobby.

This house-elf looked badly injured, with clear whip marks and its body wrapped in bandages, looking utterly miserable.

Harry's eyes widened. This was the first time he had ever seen Dobby following behind his master's family. Although he knew that Dobby was not doing well in the Malfoy family, he did not expect it to be this bad.

Lucius came in person to settle accounts, because Dumbledore had returned to the school without his permission, which showed that he didn't respect Lucius as a board member.

Dumbledore remained remarkably calm and told Lucius directly that after the incident involving Ginny Weasley, a pure-blood wizard, the other eleven board members wanted him to return to Hogwarts.

Unable to use his power to intimidate, Lucius, though furious, could only steer the conversation toward the real culprit.

But he was clearly unaware that the secret room had been found and that the basilisk and the mastermind were both dead.

When Dumbledore took out Riddle's diary, Lucius turned pale and clenched his fists.

He knew he had come for nothing, and that he had to keep a low profile from now on, because it was at Flourish and Blotts that he had slipped that diary into Ginny's textbook.

Originally, I was thinking of reducing my inventory of dark magic items at home and, incidentally, making things a little worse for my old nemesis, Arthur Weasley.

It's his fault for reporting me for possessing dark magic items all the time. If it were discovered that his daughter was also possessing dark magic items, it would be a huge joke.

But... I swear to God!

He only wanted to damage the Weasley family's reputation and had no idea that the diary had such great power, and that it almost caused more than one murder.

Fortunately, no one died, and the only piece of evidence remained silent, otherwise the Malfoy family would have been in serious trouble.

Lucius composed himself, resisting the urge to draw his wand, and turned around with feigned composure. "Let's go, Dobby."

Dobby turned the doorknob for his master, then was kicked out by Lucius with a painful scream.

Seeing this, Harry felt a pang of pity. "Headmaster, may I have this diary?"

“Yes,” Dumbledore nodded, “but you’ll have to be quick.”

Harry immediately grabbed the diary, rushed out of the headmaster's office, and as he went downstairs, he quickly took off one of his socks and tucked it into the diary.

The house-elf needs his owner to give him a piece of clothing in order to gain his freedom. He doesn't know if this method will work, but he has to try anyway.

“Mr. Malfoy.” Harry caught up with the two in the corridor outside the headmaster’s office, panting as he shoved the diary into Lucius’s arms. “This is yours.”

"I do not know what you're talking about?"

Lucius would never admit it, but he still accepted the diary and casually tossed it into Dobby's hands.

Although this evidence is no longer considered evidence, it's still better to keep it in my own hands. I'll deal with it when I get back, burning it to ashes with the Fire Curse to put my mind at ease.

"Let's go, Dobby."

“Open it,” Harry whispered a reminder.

Dobby opened his diary in a daze, staring blankly at the smelly socks inside, as if they were priceless treasures.

"The master gave Dobby a sock."

“What? I didn’t give it to…” Lucius turned around, looked at the black sock in Dobby’s hand, and didn’t know what to say for a moment.

"Master gave Dobby clothes." Dobby excitedly grabbed his socks. "Dobby is free!"

Lucius suddenly remembered something and turned to look at Harry Potter.

Sure enough, Harry adjusted his clothes, revealing his bare ankles.

"You've made me lose my servant."

Lucius roared, pulled the wand from his scepter, and strode toward Harry Potter.

Dobby stepped forward and said, "You are not allowed to hurt Harry Potter."

A blue light emanated from Dobby's hand, sending Lucius, who was about to swing his wand, flying backward.

After being hit, Lucius calmed down, stood up, put his wand back into his staff, and looked coldly at Harry, saying, "You're just like your parents, a meddlesome fool."

Remember my words, Potter, one day you will be like them.

After uttering a harsh remark, Lucius turned and left.

“Harry Potter gave Dobby his freedom.” Dobby looked directly into Harry’s green eyes and asked softly, “How can Dobby repay him?”

Harry grinned. "There's only one thing: stop thinking about saving me."

Dobby smiled sheepishly, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.

Harry looked at the house-elf's bright but not particularly attractive smile and suddenly realized something. "Dobby, you're free, but you're also homeless."

Do you know where to go?

Dobby paused for a moment, then looked at Harry seriously. "Can Dobby come with you?"

“Me? No way.” Harry refused without hesitation. “Listen, Dobby, I sympathize with you and I really want to help you.”

But as you know, the Vernons have an extreme aversion to magic and would absolutely not welcome a house-elf.

"If you come with me, you'll only be abused. Forget about supporting yourself; you might even be taken to Azkaban the next day."

“In that case…” Dobby shakily put on Harry’s socks, giving himself his first new outfit in years, “Then Dobby should go find a job.”

Harry hesitated, though he was young, he wasn't completely ignorant.

Given the Malfoy family's influence, Dobby's job search will likely be anything but easy.

"How about we try going to find Aaron?" Harry said thoughtfully. Although the Gaius family was not well-known, their strength was definitely not weaker than that of the Malfoys.

"Is...really okay?" Dobby asked, somewhat surprised.

"It should be fine, right?"

Chapter 198 Even clones have human rights.

Moonlight streamed through the window and fell onto the hospital bed. Aaron sat up, feeling somewhat tormented.

While bandages can protect and immobilize injured areas, they can also impair mobility.

Abe thoughtfully placed a pillow behind Aaron's back, then obediently lay down on his lap and took out a few candies from his pocket for him.

"I'll definitely get you a bigger suitcase when we get back this time," Aaron said with relief. "But right now, we need to get down to business. The security work is up to you."

Abe immediately straightened his back, his clear dragon eyes looking towards the door, and confidently patted his chest, promising to signal his master as soon as anyone came.

Aaron eagerly opened his mission panel, his face beaming with barely suppressed joy.

Logically, such private matters should be done in the dormitory, but he really couldn't resist, especially after a particularly exciting battle.

[Found the legendary secret chamber; Reward: 800 Magic Points]

[Defeat the monster in the secret chamber; reward: 1000 magic points]

Destroy Voldemort's Horcrux; Reward: 1200 Mana Points

With 3,000 magic points in hand, Aaron immediately felt that all the hard work of the past academic year had been worthwhile. He then opened his personal panel.

[Host: Aaron Gaius]

[Magic Power: 5000 (Beginner Archmage, you are now a qualified wizard)]

[Talent: Once in a Century (Upgradeable, increases magic power by 2 points daily)]

[Items: Moon Drop (can remove any negative spells), Resurrection Potion (can resurrect any creature that died within one hour)]

[Magic Point: 4744]

Upon reading the evaluation of Magic Power, Aaron curled his lip. What does "qualified" even mean?

Archmages are undoubtedly the backbone of the magical world, and many people get stuck at this bottleneck their entire lives.

Although he has only barely reached the initial level and is among the weakest of the archmages, his strength will eventually improve given enough time.

Reading the numbers after the magic points, Aaron was filled with excitement. These were the wealth he had earned through hard work and struggle!

Although I know this number will soon decrease, it still looks quite pleasing to the eye for now.

call!

Aaron took a deep breath and rubbed his hands together excitedly.

Without hesitation, I opened the system shop and placed an order for a Thought Entity worth two thousand magic points.

The next moment, a vast amount of magical knowledge filled Aaron's mind, and the Thought Body Clone spell was as easy to use as if he had used it countless times.

"Let's give it a try!" Aaron thought to himself as he tested the magic.

He stared straight ahead, clearly feeling the magical energy within his body rapidly draining away, and his strength plummeting, but he himself did not feel any weakness.

This power left his body, but he could use and retrieve it at any time.

At the same time, a blurry figure gradually solidified in front of the hospital bed. It looked exactly like Aaron, but its clothes were ordinary wizard robes, unlike the original body which was covered in bandages.

Abe flew up in surprise, carefully examining the two Aarons, as if trying to find some difference.

"Don't forget to be on guard." Aaron rolled his eyes, speechless.

Abe shrugged and continued staring at the door, but his occasional glance back made both Aarons both laugh and cry.

"This is the first time I've seen myself this way, and it feels incredibly strange."

He's quite handsome; I'd say he's at least a perfect 10 in looks for his age group.

“I have a different opinion,” the thought-provoking entity said with a strange expression. “So this is how pathetic I am.”

Furthermore, meeting me for the first time in a place like this is somewhat disrespectful.

Upon hearing this, Aaron scratched his head sheepishly. His current image was indeed a stark contrast to his previous elegant and charming appearance.
