The reason she followed the two of them to find information about Nicolas Flamel was because she guessed that the person who harmed Harry was also after what Moose was guarding.
The library is huge, with tens of thousands of books, densely packed bookshelves, and hundreds of narrow passageways. Finding a name among these books is like finding a needle in a haystack.
They certainly couldn't possibly search for them one by one; that would take forever.
Some guessed that since Nicolas Flamel had some connection with Dumbledore, the strongest white wizard of the time, he must at least be a great wizard himself, so they narrowed their search to books that recorded the great wizards of modern times.
However, they searched for more than ten days but could not find Nicolas Flamel's name in these books, which could also be due to their lack of effort.
After all, they were only looking up information in their spare time, and ten days of spare time was only enough for them to roughly flip through less than a hundred books, which was just a drop in the ocean compared to the entire library.
......
That night, Aaron lay on his bed in the lounge, hugging the dragon-shaped pillow that was already fast asleep, and silently opened his personal panel.

"Almost there. With another half month of hard work, I can advance to the rank of advanced mage," Aaron thought excitedly, nodding in satisfaction when he saw the number of magic points he had accumulated.
For no other reason than this auspicious number, what a wonderful omen!
"System, open the Magic Shop."
"Okay, it's activated for the host."
As soon as he finished speaking, the store interface appeared in front of Aaron's eyes.

"Phew!" Aaron took a long breath, feeling both excited and somewhat helpless.
He looked at the magic carpet he had been longing for, decisively placed an order, and stored it in his system space.
After buying this item, Aaron only had 688 magic points left, but the remaining items made him truly experience what it means to not have your cake and eat it too.
He completely ignored the materials, as those items were readily available on the market and he didn't need them for the time being.
However, he wanted the remaining items and magic items, but with his current 'financial resources', he could only choose a small portion.
After thinking for a while, Aaron turned his attention to Felix Felicis, gritted his teeth, and decided to buy it.
He hadn't forgotten that there was still a major battle to fight this semester. To deal with a dying Dark Lord, absolute strength was required.
But now he simply doesn't have the ability, so he can only take a risky approach and rely on luck.
If you're incredibly lucky, even when you're charging into battle, bullets will swerve around you, and the same goes for curses.
Of course, the amount of luck that can be improved is limited, but sometimes what's lacking is just that little bit of good luck.
Looking at the small bottle of Felix Felicis in his hand, Aaron frowned. "Is there... two hundred milliliters?"
"Host, you must learn to be content. Just a small sip will bring you good luck for the next twelve hours. This small bottle is enough for you to use several times."
Aaron remained silent, which was tantamount to acknowledging the statement, but this was merely a psychological comfort.
If you put all your eggs in one basket and think that everything will be fine, that's practically suicide.
After all, his opponent was the Dark Lord, and even if it was just a remnant soul, he was not someone he could defeat now. He could dodge the first spell by luck, but he might not be able to do so the second one.
Thinking about this, Aaron silently made a decision in his heart: if things didn't work out, he would just go for something big.
For the next period of time, owls delivered packages to Aaron every day.
In addition to Abe's dragon package, Genes also sent some books and two mysterious little boxes.
"What is this?" One morning, Draco picked up a box from Aaron's package and asked curiously.
“The ring on your hand should be a magic ring from the Middle Ages, an antique that’s over a thousand years old.”
"Wow!" Draco exclaimed. "But what are you doing with this thing?"
"I can't tell you that, I have my reasons," Aaron said mysteriously. "Aren't you going to focus on your studies? Don't forget the bet you made with Hermione!"
“I won’t forget.” Draco’s face flushed slightly, then a hint of frustration appeared on his face. “But I don’t have that much confidence anymore.”
You have no idea, I thought I had worked hard enough, and my performance during this period even exceeded my father's expectations. He even wrote a letter to praise me a few days ago.
To be honest, my father has never praised me so earnestly before.
"Isn't this a good thing? No one knows a son better than his father. This proves that your efforts during this period have not been in vain," Aaron said meaningfully. Draco's talent is quite good. After several months of dedicated research, he is already among the top few in the first year.
“That’s true.” Draco scratched his blond hair sheepishly. “But when I went to the library, Granger almost scared me. The books on her desk were this thick.”
As he spoke, he gestured with his hand, indicating that it was about two feet long.
Aaron's eye twitched. He knew Hermione liked to study, but the way she was studying was quite surprising.
"Ahem! People more talented than you are still working hard, so what reason do you have not to work hard?"
"But now I feel like I can already see the ending."
No, not just "it seems," and I'm not the kind of person who can't see reality. I'm probably not going to win this bet.
"So you've given up already?" Aaron laughed. "Draco, do you know the difference between a crushing defeat and a narrow loss?"
Draco paused for a moment, then pondered, "I don't think there's any difference; they're both failures."
“That’s right.” Aaron nodded in agreement, then stood up and patted him on the shoulder. “But you need to seriously consider this issue now.”
"What do you mean?"
Aaron patted his forehead and explained, "You and Hermione are comparing grades, out of 100. She can get 100, so if you work harder, it's not impossible, right?"
"Hmm... I am somewhat confident that I can get a perfect score, but only a tiny bit."
"That settles it then. If you try your best, you still have a chance to tie. But if you lose, and suffer a regrettable defeat with 99 points, which would you choose: a crushing defeat with 80 points and being left far behind?"
“Of course it’s ninety-nine,” Draco said immediately, as if he had figured something out.
"Right! In this situation, even if you lose, you will still be honorable in defeat."
To put it bluntly, at least the loss wasn't too humiliating, and no one will gossip about you.
From now on, when you see Hermione Granger, you can still stand tall with confidence, at least without feeling guilty.
“I know what to do,” Draco said, then pulled Crabbe and Goyle up. “Get up, you two, come with me to the library to study.”
Chapter 37 Nicolas Flamel is at least several hundred years old.
In mid-December, heavy snow fell from the sky, Hogwarts Castle stood amidst the ice and snow, and the Black Lake was covered with a layer of solid ice.
Hagrid dragged a fir tree several meters tall into the schoolyard, leaving a long trail in the several feet of snow.
Inside the castle, laughter and joy filled the air. Most of the students were packing their luggage, preparing to go home for Christmas. Even the usually mischievous ghost stopped to say "Merry Christmas."
There were twelve medium-sized Christmas trees on both sides of the auditorium, and Professor Flitwick was decorating the largest Christmas tree at the very front of the auditorium, with Aaron assisting him below.
The two used a levitation spell to place candles, colored paper, lights, and golden star models one by one onto the Christmas tree.
With the last star placed on top, the Christmas tree was adorned beautifully.
"All done, Professor, Merry Christmas." Aaron wiped the sweat from his forehead. Decorating a Christmas tree was nothing to him, but he had taken care of almost half of the Christmas trees in the entire auditorium.
This workload is quite large. Although the Levitation Spell is simple, his magical energy has only reached four digits, and he can't afford to squander it like this.
Especially since he didn't want to attract too much attention right now, he sealed half of his magical energy with a magic ring. It was really not easy for him to do such physically demanding work with the magical energy of an early-stage intermediate mage.
“Merry Christmas, Mr. Gaius,” Professor Flitwick said with a smile. “Slytherin, ten points, as I promised you.”
"But your talent is truly remarkable. You're only a first-year student, yet your magic level is almost on par with a fourth-year student."
"Thank you for the compliment!" Aaron smiled. Every point counts, as it ensures his system mission is completed successfully.
"Professor, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now."
After a long morning of work, I'm quite tired.
"Go, child."
Aaron picked up Abe, found a seat in the hall, and casually began flipping through a book about magical creatures.
Harry and Ron were playing Wizards' Chess next to him. Harry was clearly a novice, and he had to think carefully before making each move.
Ron, on the other hand, seemed to be a seasoned veteran, enjoying the killing spree immensely, though it's possible he was simply stomping on weaker opponents.
The lifelike magical chess pieces, under the control of the two players, fought fiercely on the chessboard, with occasional ping-pong sounds.
Hermione walked over, frowned at the destroyed chess pieces, and said, "This is too barbaric."
"This is the Wizard's Chess set." Ron chuckled as he put away the pieces. "Have you packed your bags?"
"Yours isn't packed properly."
"The plans changed. My parents decided to go to Romania to see my brother Charlie, who was studying dragons there."
Aaron noticed that Abe had perked up its ears, clearly still curious about news of other dragons.
“Great! You can help Harry now.”
He was going to the library to look for information about Nicolas Flamel.
“We’ve looked a hundred times already,” Ron said, somewhat complaining.
“Nico Flamel?” Aaron raised an eyebrow. “That name sounds familiar.”
"Aaron, you've heard of it?" Harry was overjoyed. They had searched the library for so long without any results, but the answer was right beside them!
"I've heard of him, but what do you want with that old man?"
His temper is incredibly eccentric; one second he's all smiles and warmth, the next he's as cold and bleak as autumn winds.
Harry's eyes darted away as he explained, "We're not looking for him, we just want to get a simple understanding."
