Entering the Gryffindor common room was an unprecedented opportunity for Sirius Black, one that would never come twice.
But he specifically targeted Ron, and after being discovered, he hastily fled. Keep in mind that Harry's bed was only a few meters away from Ron's bed; he could have easily killed him and then run away.
“Maybe he’s worried about wasting time!” Harry thought to himself. “After all, there are too many people in the Gryffindor common room. He can kill us but not everyone. If he attracts the professor’s attention, he’ll be dead.”
Aaron nodded silently, then looked at Harry seriously. "Here's a piece of advice: don't leave Hogwarts."
"I see."
“I’ll keep an eye on him,” Hermione assured her. “I won’t let him go to Hogsmeade until Black is caught.”
......
Sirius Black seemed to know he wouldn't have another chance anytime soon, so he didn't continue his actions.
Because of his disappearance, Hogwarts quickly returned to order, only with increased security, especially with trolls guarding the entrance to the Gryffindor common room.
That night, Harry was looking at the Marauder's Map in bed when one name caught his attention.
Peter Pettigrew.
Upon seeing the name, Harry immediately recalled what he had overheard at the Three Broomsticks, and promptly put on his shoes and began searching in the dark corridor.
However, following the Marauder's Map, he did not find Peter Pettigrew. Just as he thought the map was wrong, Snape appeared behind him.
"Potter, what are you doing wandering around the hallways at night?"
“I was sleepwalking,” Harry explained casually.
"How come you look so much like your father, Potter?"
He was just as arrogant and haughty as he strolled around the castle.
Harry was immediately furious. He couldn't tolerate anyone talking about his father like that. "My dad isn't arrogant, and neither am I."
If you don't mind, please put down your wand.
Snape stared coldly at him, his wand, enchanted with a glow-in-the-dark charm, slowly lowering to point at the Marauder's Map in Harry's hand. "What's this?"
“A piece of parchment,” Harry said nervously, hoping that Snape wouldn’t discover the Marauder’s Map’s secret.
Snape clearly didn't believe that anyone would carry around a tattered piece of parchment unless it possessed some special magic.
“Reveal your secret,” Snape said, tapping the parchment lightly with his wand.
The writing slowly appeared, but it was not quite the same as what Harry had seen, and there was no map on the parchment, which made him breathe a heavy sigh of relief.
"You read it."
"Moonface, Wormtail, Bigfoot, and Fork-tipped Snape greeted him and... asked him not to stick out his big nose and meddle in other people's business."
This infuriated Professor Snape. He was about to punish Harry when Professor Lupin came over and stopped him in time. However, when he saw the Marauder's Map, a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.
Lupin came to Harry's rescue, explaining that the Marauder's Map was a prank prop.
But after dismissing Snape, he took Harry to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, gave him a severe dressing-down, and confiscated the Marauder's Map, clearly knowing what it was.
However, Harry told him before leaving that there was something wrong with the map, and that there was a dead person's name: Peter Pettigrew.
......
The divination classroom.
Professor Trelawney has finished teaching the palm reading course, and now each student has a hazy crystal ball in front of them.
"Broaden your thinking and broaden your horizons."
The technique of crystal ball divination lies in clarifying your third eye...
In this class, some students were confused and couldn't understand anything, some were struggling to stay awake, and some were looking intently at the crystal ball.
Hermione and Aaron shared a desk; one looked grim, while the other was beaming.
"You can understand it?" Hermione asked, somewhat surprised.
“I can barely see some things,” Aaron said calmly. “I have a talent for divination, which Professor Trelawney personally verified.”
Hermione's eye twitched slightly; she couldn't see anything, but her pride wouldn't allow her to admit it.
But seeing Ron snoring beside her and Harry with his eyelids drooping, her mood improved considerably.
“What did you see?” Professor Trelawney asked as he walked over.
"Professor, you might not believe it, but I saw a mouse."
"A rat?" Ron suddenly snapped out of his daze. "You saw Scabbers? It's still alive?"
“Of course it’s still alive,” Hermione said, annoyed.
"It's so difficult to survive, to actually escape the claws of that ugly and ferocious cat."
Hermione's expression became indescribable; she glared fiercely at Ron before turning her face away.
"Aaron, where is Banban?"
“How would I know?” Aaron said speechlessly. “Besides, this is something for the future; it might not be there now.”
"Then it..."
“Quiet,” Professor Trelawney interrupted, then looked warmly at Aaron, “What else did you see?”
"I saw pets reunited with their owners, and that's all I saw."
“That’s very good,” Trelawney said with a pleased smile. “With more practice, you can get an even more accurate prediction of the future.”
Divination is the most mysterious form of magic. Your third eye will become increasingly clear, until finally the world holds no secrets for you.
Aaron nodded in deep agreement. He had been trying to divine his future, but the sudden appearance of a rat caught him off guard.
This proves that his divination skills are not yet up to par. This mouse may have some connection with his future, but he really can't be sure what it is.
“Ahem!” Hermione suddenly coughed. “Shouldn’t someone apologize to Crookshanks? It’s been wrongly accused for far too long.”
Ron's expression changed slightly, and he said thoughtfully, "This only proves that Scabbers is not dead, but it doesn't mean that the cat didn't hurt it."
Don't forget, Banban hasn't come back yet; it must be terrified by that cat.
"You really are..." Hermione laughed in exasperation, "Incomprehensible."
“You’re the unreasonable one,” Ron said, looking indignant. “It’s because you didn’t control that cat properly and were always taking its side.”
"Alright, you two, it's class time now," Professor Trelawney interrupted them. "What did you see in the orb? Do you need me to explain?"
Chapter 316 The Divine Palace is Completed, Divination Examination
“We don’t need help.” Ron looked at the white mist in the crystal ball and said indifferently, “The sign is obvious; there will be a thick fog tonight.”
Professor Trelawney was slightly displeased upon hearing this.
She sat down at their desk and began examining the crystal ball.
A moment later, she looked up at Harry. "It's right here. Ominous signs are coming your way."
"Oh my god, please stop saying it's an ominous sign, it's ridiculous," Hermione said, somewhat exasperated.
“My dear,” Professor Trelawney took Hermione’s hand, looked at the lines on her palm, and said in a low voice, “From the moment you stepped into my classroom, I felt that you did not possess the qualities required for divination.”
Although you are young, your heart has withered, like an old maid; your soul is as dry as the pages of these books, these books you have diligently studied.
As she finished speaking, Hermione's breathing became more and more rapid.
She stood up abruptly and walked straight out of the classroom. She was truly fed up with divination classes and didn't want to waste any more time on them.
"Did I say anything?" Trelawney asked, somewhat puzzled.
“No.” Aaron shook his head. “You just said what I wanted to say but never did.”
Also, Easter is just around the corner, and your prophecy has come true; Hermione will leave us. However, this may not be a bad thing for her.
......
As expected, Hermione did not show up at Divination class for the next week.
However, even with one less elective course, the remaining four courses were still overwhelming for her.
In contrast, Aaron had it much easier; his clones were a cheat code.
Besides the four elective courses, he also arranged more than half of the required courses for the "Thinking Body" program.
Although this will slightly delay the renovation plan of the secret room, it won't be a big deal, since at this stage we only go there when practicing magic.
The Quidditch final begins on Saturday, with Gryffindor facing off against Slytherin.
Since Slytherin is currently leading in points, Gryffindor must be up by 50 points before they can catch the Golden Snitch if they want to win the Quidditch Cup.
The score difference between the two houses fluctuated around the fifty-point mark. Finally, Harry seized the opportunity and, with Gryffindor leading by sixty points for more than ten seconds, used the speed of his Firebolt to get the Golden Snitch before Draco could.
After seven years, Gryffindor finally won the Quidditch Cup.
Wood was so excited that tears welled up in his eyes. He felt that he had no regrets about graduating. The other team members also hugged each other and let out a triumphant roar.
The other Gryffindors were even more frenzied, rushing onto the pitch almost the instant Harry snatched the Golden Snitch. Even the usually serious Percy jumped around excitedly, and Professor McGonagall even wiped away tears of joy while holding the Gryffindor flag. The scene was practically like a national liberation celebration.
"We lost." Aaron looked at Draco, who was furious, and teased, "Aren't you especially upset?"
“That’s not fair.” Draco slammed his fist against the wall. “He was riding a Firebolt, which is much faster than the Nimbus. I was just a little bit slower.”
“In a sense, it’s fair.” Aaron shrugged. “In previous years, Slytherin overwhelmed everyone with their equipment, so you can’t accept the situation being reversed.”
Compared to Slytherin's inevitable decline after reaching its peak, Gryffindor experienced a turnaround from adversity to prosperity.
Draco scoffed. "A hundred people hugging each other and crying, aren't they ashamed?"
“Even when you’re feeling smug, you’re not much better than them,” Aaron laughed. “They’ve been suppressed for seven years, so it’s only natural that they’d have an outburst.”
“But we’ve lost our eight-game winning streak,” Draco said with some regret, but then he suddenly remembered something and his expression brightened. “They can only be happy for now.”
"What do you mean?"
"Hagrid lost the case. The hippogriff was sentenced to death and will be executed before the end of this semester."
Upon hearing this, Aaron frowned slightly and turned to look at Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Rubeus Hagrid, who were surrounded by a group of Gryffindors on the field.
"Here's a piece of advice: don't talk about this in front of them."
Otherwise, you'll definitely get beaten up, and if you then complain to Mr. Malfoy, I won't be able to ignore it."
