After hesitating for a while, I decided to help them break the curse later.

Upon entering Harry's and his companions' private box, a glass bottle sat on the table, inside which a strange beetle was buzzing.

"Let me make this clear beforehand, I will not apologize on behalf of the three of them," Aaron stated bluntly. "I will not take any responsibility for the trouble they caused."

“Who wants to tell you this?” Hermione said, half-laughing, half-crying, and pointed meaningfully at the glass bottle. “I caught Rita Skeeter.”

"Is this it?" Aaron picked up the glass bottle. "Her Animagus form is a beetle."

“That’s right, that’s why she can so easily get news material and then make up stories,” Hermione said smugly. “I’ll release her when I get there, but she can’t write anything in the newspapers for a year, otherwise the illegal Animagus charges will be enough to send her to Azkaban.”

"Amazing." Aaron clapped his hands. "He even caught a bug."

“Thanks to your tip, we wouldn’t have caught her so quickly,” Hermione said. “Malfoy knew her identity, those news reports…”

"She wrote those news articles; Draco just provided her with a little convenience," Aaron said with great certainty. It wasn't that he underestimated Draco; he would never have come up with such a sensational topic.

“Accomplice,” Ron said indignantly.

"So now they're being retaliated against by you."

"If there's nothing else, I'll be going now. This holiday is going to be a hassle for me; I need some time alone."

"Wait a minute." Harry quickly stopped him and said in a deep voice, "Malfoy is a Death Eater. I suggest, I suggest... you should keep a certain distance from their family."

"I try my best."

“Aaron,” Harry hesitated, then stammered, “Voldemort is back. Perhaps you could help Dumbledore.”

Aaron paused for a moment, then laughed. "Our four families have been neutral for thousands of years. No matter who wins or loses, it won't have much of an impact on us."

If that's the case, why should we get involved?

“But this is a catastrophe for the wizarding world. You can’t just stand by and do nothing, can you?” Harry wanted to persuade him further. After all, he had witnessed some of the Gaius family’s power at Riddle’s graveyard. With their help, it might be easier to defeat the Dark Lords.

“Harry,” Aaron shook his head meaningfully, “If a catastrophe truly befalls the wizarding world, we families will undoubtedly step in without you even needing to tell us, but Voldemort…”

He can at most cause turmoil in the magical world, but a catastrophe... to be honest, he's not qualified yet.

Personally, I admire Gellert Grindelwald more than Voldemort.

"Uh...who is he?" Harry asked awkwardly, as he had never heard this name before.

“The previous Dark Lord,” Aaron explained patiently. “Compared to him, Voldemort is hardly worth mentioning.”

Grindelwald's Wizarding Wars swept across the entire wizarding world, with countless wizards willingly following him, while Voldemort's wars were confined to Britain, his forces were too disorganized, and his loyal followers were extremely few.

"Back in Grindelwald's time, your families..." Hermione asked curiously.

“We didn’t interfere,” Aaron said half-jokingly. “Grindelwald was more like a reformer. His original intention was to have a better future for the wizarding world, even though it required eliminating most Muggles to achieve this goal.”

"What?" Hermione exclaimed in shock. "Are you serious?"

Aaron nodded in agreement and continued, "Grindelwald has gone on such a big spree that none of our families have interfered, let alone Voldemort's small-scale antics."

"A minor incident?" Harry couldn't hold back any longer and glared angrily at Aaron. "My parents, Neville's parents, and many, many families have been torn apart. Is this a minor incident?"

So what do you consider a big deal? The end of the world?

Holy crap! You actually guessed it.

Aaron muttered to himself, but his expression remained perfectly calm. "I have no comment on that. I can tell you very clearly that we will remain neutral."

Just like Genes said, if I really decide to take sides, that's my own business, and it has nothing to do with the Gaius family.

“That works too!” Ron said without hesitation. “You’ve helped us thwart Voldemort’s schemes several times over the past few years.”

Aaron's lips twitched, utterly speechless.

I could have easily won, why should I drag myself into this mess with you guys? Do you want to die?

"Is there anything else? If not, I'll be going now."

"Wait a minute." Harry stopped Aaron again, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "How can you help Dumbledore's side if you're just here alone?"

"Phew!" Aaron sighed. "If Voldemort and Dumbledore continue their standoff, they will eventually resolve the issue through war. Not participating in the war is my bottom line."

As for other matters, I will try my best to offer assistance, but only as a student of Hogwarts, and nothing more.

Harry felt a huge sense of relief; that was enough, since that was all they could do for now.

Aaron left Harry's box with a heavy heart, but felt relieved after returning to his own box.

He was just telling the truth. He has the means to avoid getting involved in this conflict, but Hogwarts still needs to be protected, since it's the best place for him to sign in.

The Dark Lord wouldn't lead an army of Death Eaters to attack a magic school; that would be too petty.

Seeing Draco and the other two frozen in place, Aaron wearily pulled out his wand and cast, "Stop Curse."

boom!

The three of them immediately resumed their movements and then let out a pitiful wail.

"How dare they... I have to tell my dad."

"Let's not embarrass ourselves," Aaron said. "If we can't beat them this time, we can fight back next time. What's the point of calling our parents?"

“That was a sneak attack,” Crabbe said, annoyed.

“Outnumbered people bullying out fewer people,” Gao added.

"You asked for it," Aaron retorted without any politeness. "You had nothing better to do than go and provoke us, were you itching for a beating or something?"

“We’re just stating the facts,” Draco said, pursing his lips. “Granger captured Rita Skeeter…”

“If someone slanders me in the newspaper, I will just swat that beetle and pretend I know nothing about it.”

Draco opened his mouth, then said unwillingly, "I only said that when the Dark Lord returned, the first to be killed would be Muggle-born wizards and wizards who like Muggles... but I didn't expect them to take action so quickly."

Snapped!

"They really deserved to kick you out." Aaron patted his forehead, looking speechless. "Your curse is practically plastered on your face, who else would they hit but you?"

"If it were up to me, I wouldn't be able to swallow this insult without breaking a few of your bones."

"I... I was just telling the truth, but it was just something I said offhand," Draco quickly explained. "I didn't mean to curse, otherwise all those wizards on the train who are related to Muggles would have killed us!"

Aaron: ......

At least you have some sense, you didn't say that in front of everyone.

Chapter 421 The Tradition of Early Marriage, Weapon Gift Pack

At Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, the Hogwarts Express stopped in the evening.

Aaron emerged from the partition with his stroller and pet, where Genes waited for him as usual and took the suitcase from him.

"Um... Uncle Genes, I'm going on another trip this holiday, right?" Aaron asked somewhat awkwardly after getting into the car.

"Miss Adrian told you?" Geneston immediately realized this and nodded with a complicated expression. "The third crystal in the secret chamber has lit up, which means that you will need to take your next trip within a year, young master."

"It's only been two years!" Aaron said with a look of utter despair. "I haven't even recovered from the trauma of the last trip, and another one has come."

“This timing is normal,” Genes explained earnestly. “According to the Gaius family’s history, on average, every two to three years, outstanding descendants would go to other worlds to broaden their experience and leave behind the Gaius name.”

Of course, if the young master doesn't want to, he can get married and have children, become the God of Magic, or inherit the position of clan leader; he can choose any one of them.

Becoming the God of Magic requires a great deal of time, and inheriting the position of clan leader is currently impossible. The simplest solution is to get married and have children, but unfortunately, the young master's arranged marriage with Miss Keria has been postponed.

Aaron's lips twitched violently, and he waved his hand, saying, "It's not a pity, not at all."

"A fifteen-year-old going on a blind date? How could you even think of that?"

Early marriage is almost a tradition in the Gaius family, and besides, arranged marriages are not the same as weddings.

The correct process is: blind date, engagement, marriage, and having a baby.

"Enough." Aaron rolled his eyes speechlessly. "Don't talk to me about tradition. My ancestors were not strong-willed and entered the grave of marriage so early."

Don't compare me to them. I might not be as good as them in other areas, but they definitely can't beat me in this one.

Upon hearing this, Genes gave a meaningful smile, "Many people initially shared the same thoughts as the young master, but later..."

"But they couldn't take it anymore, right?" Aaron chimed in, a hint of disdain in his voice. "They obediently came back to accept the blind dates arranged by their families."

"That's only a very small minority. Most people pursue their own love and complete the task of getting married and having children in other worlds."

"Watfa..."

Aaron suddenly felt like he had discovered a new continent. He seemed to understand why the family genealogy was so messy. No wonder he had never even heard of many of the women's surnames.

"They... surely they wouldn't go that far?"

“The flow of time is different,” Genes explained casually. “It’s fine to stay in other worlds for a year or two, but it’s quite normal to meet someone you like if you stay for seven or eight years, ten or twenty years, or even a hundred years.”

Aaron forced a smile, having nothing to say.

He might be able to hold out for a decade or so, but for a hundred years... he's not a monk, so getting married and having children is inevitable.

For a moment, he suddenly felt that accepting blind dates wasn't a bad idea. His parents had good taste, and he could avoid a lot of detours.

But then he thought about it again and put the idea out of his head.

He's still young and doesn't want to fast-forward through life; he'd rather let things take their course!

......

By the time we returned to Gaius Castle, it was completely dark.

Vico and Lisanna had other things to do, so they didn't go home, something Aaron was already used to.

"Uncle Genes, if I may ask, when am I leaving this time?"

“It’s up to you, young master, but we can’t delay too long,” Genes said humanely. “I suggest you wait for the clan leader and the others to return so you can meet them before you set off.”

"That works," Aaron nodded. "When will they be back?"

"Three days later."

Aaron blinked blankly, then sneered, "Uncle Genes, you're so funny."

"Just tell me to rest for three days, and then we can set off."

Genes paused for a moment, then gave an awkward laugh and said, "It seems like time is a bit tight."

"Is that a little bit?" Aaron said sarcastically, dissatisfied. "The Triwizard Tournament ended less than a week ago. You should know what I went through. It was incredibly tiring."
