“Of course it’s true,” Hermione said with certainty. “You should go up to the third floor now; Ron and Ginny are very worried about you.”
Harry felt a little relieved and followed Hermione back to the third floor. He felt inexplicably awkward when he saw Ron and Ginny.
“Hermione did a good job, you’ve finally decided to see us,” Ron said sarcastically.
"It's because you didn't come to see me," Harry said guiltily.
Ron rolled his eyes, not wanting to argue with him about it. "Dude, I mean you were rolling around in bed before I woke you up. Your worries are completely unnecessary."
“I was also possessed by a mysterious person,” Ginny said. “At that time, I had no idea what I was doing, but you can remember everything you did.”
"Ah this..."
Harry was speechless, but felt incredibly relieved.
Things weren't as bad as he thought; Voldemort wouldn't control him to hurt others.
......
The next day, they received a pile of Christmas gifts.
The festive atmosphere was particularly strong in Grimoire Place. Sirius Black was especially happy because his house was full of people, and he even hummed a song involuntarily.
In contrast, Molly Weasley was somewhat downcast. As usual, she prepared Christmas gifts for the children, and everyone else happily accepted them, but Percy alone returned the gifts without even asking about his father's injury, as if he was determined to sever ties with them.
After lunch, Harry, Hermione, and the Weasleys, accompanied by Moody and Lupin, went to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries and Sicknesses.
They entered the hospital lobby by passing through an unsightly glass display window.
Mrs. Weasley led them upstairs and stopped at the second door on the right.
In the hospital room, Mr. Weasley leaned against several pillows, reading today's Daily Prophet, with a half-eaten turkey meal on his lap. He looked to be in very good condition.
"You've arrived." Mr. Weasley's face lit up with a happy smile when he saw everyone. "Merry Christmas! What gifts did you all receive?"
"Harry, the screwdriver and fuses you sent me are really great."
Harry was about to speak when he was interrupted by an angry Mrs. Weasley, "Arthur, why have your bandages been changed? Didn't they say they would be changed tomorrow?"
"Uh... this, that..."
"Don't be angry, Molly. Actually, it was Augustus Pai who came up with the idea. The intern therapist in this ward has some knowledge of Muggle treatments, so..."
"So you started experimenting on yourself with Muggle methods," Mrs. Weasley said, each word deliberate, sending a chill down the spine of the already severely injured Arthur Weasley.
Gulu!
Mr. Weasley swallowed hard. “This is called stitching. The principle is that you sew up a wound with thread.”
"What? When did you become so stupid?"
"Um..." Hermione said timidly, "Could I say a word first?"
“Of course, child.” Mrs. Weasley’s face immediately lit up with a smile.
"The stitches are quite effective for non-magical wounds; the snake venom might have melted the stitches."
“You heard me, Arthur,” Mrs. Weasley said coldly. “Do I need to remind you what a non-magical wound is?”
“That’s why we brought it,” Ron said with some pride. “It will definitely cure Dad.”
“Shut up, Ron. I will not allow you to experiment on your father with any of these weird things.”
“But, Mom…” Ron was about to explain when Harry glared at him and stopped him.
This isn't Mr. Weasley's private ward. Besides him, there are two other patients: one who was bitten by a werewolf and is depressed, and the other is a witch who was bitten by an unknown creature.
If they see Abe's abilities, who knows what kind of trouble they might cause.
This is a hospital, after all. If the therapists knew there was a magical creature here with healing abilities, they might not be able to leave today.
“Fred, George,” Harry said, “could you please draw two curtains? We need to treat Mr. Weasley using a special method, and it’s not convenient for other people to see.”
The two brothers, who were watching their mother scold their father with glee, noticed Harry's serious look and immediately patted their chests to assure him, "No problem."
"Wait for us, we'll be right back."
“No need for that.” Moody simply pulled out his wand and conjured two partitions, dividing the ward into three areas.
"Thank you, Professor."
"Speak quickly if you have something to say. Although I've blocked the sound here, I don't know when someone might come over."
"Wait a minute, what special method?" Mrs. Weasley asked, puzzled.
"You'll see in a moment. I assure you the chances of success are very high, and even if it fails, it won't have any negative impact on Mr. Weasley."
Mrs. Weasley didn't ask any more questions, and Harry then looked at Hermione, or more precisely, at Abel, whom she was holding in her arms.
"It's up to you now." Hermione placed Abel on the hospital bed. "Let's begin!"
However, Abel gave a haughty smirk, his innocent eyes fixed on the turkey meal on Mr. Weasley's lap.
"What...does this mean?" Ginny asked, puzzled. "What happened to the promised treatment?!"
“It’s obvious.” Hermione sighed helplessly. “Eat first, then work.”
“One probably won’t be enough,” Ron said reluctantly. “It has a huge appetite.”
Abe nodded solemnly, then raised his right claw, revealing five silver claws to everyone.
"Five turkeys?" Hermione couldn't help but click her tongue. "No, Aaron told me I can't let you eat too much. What if you get fat?"
Abe remained unmoved. Of all things, the master was the most important, and besides the master, eating was the most important thing.
It had finally escaped its master's supervision, and the wicked butler Genes was not around. If it didn't take this opportunity to satisfy its appetite, it would be a disservice to its stomach.
“No problem, I agree,” Harry said immediately. Five turkeys were nothing compared to curing Mr. Weasley.
Chapter 476 I won't let you out to cause trouble anymore, adding insult to injury.
Abel didn't immediately begin treatment. Instead, he stared intently at Hermione and pointed meaningfully to his pocket.
"Okay, okay," Hermione said, both amused and exasperated. "After the treatment is finished, I'll take you to buy the food, alright?"
Abe nodded in satisfaction, then turned to look at Arthur Weasley lying on the hospital bed.
A white magic circle flashed past him, and Arthur was instantly enveloped in white light, a gentle smile involuntarily spreading across his face.
He felt a warm sensation from his wounds, and at the same time, streaks of reddish-black blood mixed with venom slowly emerged. However, these streaks of blood evaporated quickly under the white light and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
A few minutes later, the white light dissipated, and Abe yawned wearily. Then, it took out its special blanket from its pocket, found an empty spot on the hospital bed, and lay down.
Everyone stared in disbelief at the scene, remaining silent for a long time before they came to their senses.
"My goodness!" Fred exclaimed. "For a pet, this is a bit too much."
“He’s also very disciplined,” George added. “The way he takes out the blanket is unusually practiced; it’s obvious this isn’t his first time.”
“This is definitely not a cat.” Moody’s magic eyes spun wildly. “The magic power it possesses surpasses that of an average adult wizard, and the quality is exceptionally high.”
Where did Gaius get such a magical... magical creature? Even Dumbledore's phoenix might not compare.
“Fox has been bullied by it more than once or twice,” Harry said with a forced smile. Fox was like a mouse in front of a cat when it saw it, and countless hairs had been plucked from its body.
“This is a rare opportunity. Shall we check what’s in his pocket?” Fred suggested.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking.” George nodded in agreement.
“Absolutely not,” Hermione said immediately. “Its pockets are full of Aaron’s things, and it just cured Mr. Weasley, and you… that’s shameless.”
The two looked at each other, saying, "We were just joking."
"Arthur, how are you feeling?"
“It’s better than ever before,” Mr. Weasley said with great ease. “It’s like I’ve been standing my whole life and then suddenly I’m sitting down. I even want to embrace the sunrise now.”
"Who asked you that?" Lupin said speechlessly. "Molly asked about your injury."
Mr. Weasley stretched his limbs and carefully used his wand to unwrap a section of the bandage, revealing that the wound inside had completely healed and new granulation tissue was clearly visible.
"Haha, call the therapist over, I can process your discharge right now."
"No." ×3.
Moody, Lupin, and Molly said in unison.
"A sudden recovery is too unbelievable. You need to find an excuse to explain it to the therapist first."
“That’s what I mean too.” Lupin said seriously, “We absolutely cannot expose this pet; it will cause trouble for Aaron.”
Dumbledore meant to maintain a good relationship with Gaius; if we displease him, we might lose a potential ally.
"ally?"
Harry and the others exchanged glances, and they could all see the surprise in each other's eyes.
They weren't even qualified to join the Order of the Phoenix, but Aaron seemed to be placed on an equal footing, which made them feel somewhat unbalanced.
“This is none of your business for now,” Mrs. Weasley said. “Arthur, you need to stay in the hospital for a few more days so that the therapist can do a full check-up and make sure there are no problems before you are discharged.”
"That's... okay!"
"Hermione, thank you so much," Mrs. Weasley said with relief, then gave her a big hug. "I'll go get five turkeys for Abel now."
"Please take good care of it while I'm away. It's a great benefactor to the Weasley family. Just let me know if it needs anything, and I'll do my best to provide it."
“Um…Aaron told me I shouldn’t spoil it too much.”
Mrs. Weasley paused for a moment, "Look how tired it is, it deserves more nourishment."
Hermione's eyes twitched slightly, and she was speechless for a moment.
With Mr. Weasley's injury no longer a concern, Harry and the others breathed a sigh of relief.
They had planned to go to the hospital's tea room for a drink, but when they passed the fifth floor, they unexpectedly spotted Neville Longbottom, who was visiting his parents, who looked lifeless and extremely haggard, with his grandmother.
After some investigation, they learned that Neville's parents had been driven insane by the Death Eaters using the Cruciatus Curse and were therefore imprisoned for life in the psychiatric ward of St. Mungo's Hospital.
......
Time flies, and the Christmas holiday is almost over.
After Aaron finished dinner, he was taking a walk in the castle when a white figure bumped into him.
Abe clung to Aaron's arm, making soft whimpering sounds, showing his deep affection.
