The resurrection potion was Aaron's private property, and a unique one at that. They had no right to make him give it up.
Hagrid glanced deeply at the fallen unicorn, wiped away his tears with resentment, and murmured, "I'm sorry."
"Hagrid!" Ronan asked with some concern, "Are you alright?"
"It's alright, I'll leave the rest to you." Hagrid waved his hand and walked weakly toward the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
The remaining people looked at each other, but still followed closely behind him.
“Wait, young wizard.” Ronan called out to Aaron, looking somewhat embarrassed at the pet beside him, “Could I take a look at your pet?”
"Hehe! No way."
Abbey is my personal property; it was kidnapped just yesterday.
"Who is it?" Ronan the centaur was unusually angry. "Who dares to kidnap such a sacred creature? This crime is the same as slaughtering unicorns."
Ron's heart skipped a beat, and he said bitterly, "Are we cursed?"
"I don't think so!" Harry was a little unsure, after all, they had been in agony from last night to tonight, and were almost too ashamed to face anyone.
While this may be related to Professor McGonagall deducting a huge number of points from them, those who feel guilty might associate it with some kind of curse.
Hermione swallowed hard. Her experience tonight made her feel like she must be cursed, otherwise she wouldn't have been so unlucky and almost lost her life.
"Hmph!" Malfoy said gloatingly, "If only you had known this would happen, you wouldn't have done it in the first place."
"You guys?" Ronan seemed to understand something. This was probably just a prank between children, but he still put on a cold face. "It's not a curse, but you'd better not do it."
Otherwise... you'll suffer the consequences.
Ronan gave a brief warning, but the three of them looked at the adorable and silly Abe in unison and decided that they would treat this magical creature better in the future and try to get rid of this unfounded 'curse' as soon as possible.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Hagrid urged.
"Come here."
"Wait, wizard."
Just as Aaron was about to leave, Ronan spoke again, "Can you tell me your name?"
“That’s fine, Gaius, Aaron Gaius.”
"Gaius? You're from the Gaius family?" Ronan asked, somewhat surprised. "Which generation are you?"
"Well... I really didn't pay much attention?" Aaron scratched his head awkwardly.
He had seen the Gaius family genealogy, but it was very different from other families' genealogies. It was made up of several mind maps, the kind that would make you want to fall asleep at first glance.
Aaron only saw his name on the last page and didn't pay much attention to it.
Who has the time to study the names of their ancestors? Even if you have a lot of free time, you wouldn't use a family tree to kill time.
"Wait, you know about my family?" Aaron asked curiously. "How do you know?"
“Surprised?” Ronan smiled faintly. “Actually, many centaurs know about the Gaius family. A long time ago, there was a war in which one of your ancestors fought alongside the centaurs. He was one of the few humans who could ride on the backs of centaurs.”
Aaron: ......
Holy crap! Our ancestors had such a glorious history?
Ronan looked at the somewhat dazed Aaron and asked, "Don't you know this part of history?"
"Ahem! I'm only twelve years old, how could I possibly know so much?"
Ronan seemed to have figured something out. "It's normal that you know less. Being low-key is practically a label for your families."
In short, Gaius, protect the little one in your arms.
Its potential is far greater than you think; it will become a valuable asset to you in the future.
Aaron nodded. Did you even need to tell me? Didn't he know what kind of dragon cub this was?
Upon leaving the Forbidden Forest, Aaron solemnly warned the others not to reveal that he possessed the resurrection potion, or the consequences would be severe.
The others naturally nodded in agreement, but Hagrid's gaze darted away.
Aaron didn't take it to heart, assuming that he was blaming himself for not saving the unicorn.
......
Gryffindor common room.
Harry didn't rush to sleep. Instead, he called Ron and Hermione to the fireplace and told them his guess.
"It must be Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest," Ronan told me.
He's using unicorn blood to stay alive...
“Don’t say that name,” Ron said in a low voice, as if worried that the Dark Lord might hear them.
"You mean the Mysterious Man is in the Forbidden Forest?" Hermione felt a sense of relief; she had actually escaped with her life from Voldemort's clutches.
"Right, that is it.
Hermione, you were in close contact with him. How was he?
"Um... I don't know how to say it."
The man in the black robe was so intimidating, he was like a monster. I was so scared my legs went weak.
"If Aaron hadn't saved me, you might never have seen me." Hermione shuddered at the memory of the black-robed man drinking unicorn blood, instinctively lowering her head and clutching her pillow tightly.
But then, thinking of other things, a joyful smile unconsciously appeared on her face. It turns out that fairy tales aren't all made up.
"Hermione, Hermione." Harry waved his hand in front of her eyes, thinking she was scared.
"It's nothing." Hermione snapped out of her daze, her smile instantly vanishing. "The man in the Mysterio must be in very bad shape, extremely weak, otherwise he wouldn't have had to drink unicorn blood to stay alive."
But his abilities are still very strong; I estimate he's no weaker than a university professor.
Harry didn't deny it, "I suspect Voldemort..."
“Could we please not mention that name?” Ron said again. “He’s at Hogwarts right now!”
“Fine,” Harry said helplessly. “Alright, Mysterio, I really don’t understand why so many people are afraid of that name.”
“Not everyone is as lucky as you to survive such a calamity. Before his accident, the shadow of the mysterious man loomed over the entire magical world, and almost no one dared to confront him.”
“No, Aaron can do it,” Hermione laughed. “He cast two spells on that man in black today, and the screams he made were painful to hear.”
"Ha! Not everyone is like him, possessing a potion that can bring people back to life."
With that thing, who would be afraid of dying?
“Ron,” Hermione glared at him, “not everyone has the courage to face Mystic.”
Let's not talk about that now.
*Ahem!* The mysterious person's goal must be the magic stone.
We were wrong. Snape's goal wasn't to get rich with the Philosopher's Stone; he wasn't doing it for himself at all.
His purpose in stealing the Philosopher's Stone was for Voldemort, to restore his strength with the elixir of immortality so he could make a comeback.
"Harry, if the Man of Darkness comes back, will he kill you?" Ron asked with some concern.
“Who knows?” Harry slumped weakly onto the sofa, saying nothing.
But they all knew that if Voldemort were to return, his primary target for revenge would be Harry, and Harry would definitely be in grave danger.
“Harry, things might not be so bad,” Hermione comforted him. “Don’t forget, there’s a powerful wizard at Hogwarts!”
Dumbledore, our headmaster, was someone even Mysterio in his prime dared not oppose.
As long as Dumbledore is around, he won't dare to make a move, and you'll be safe.
Hearing this, Harry felt much lighter and his gloom dissipated.
......
the next day.
In the Potions classroom, Gryffindor and Slytherin students are carefully concocting a hair-growth potion, a potion that can restore hair volume within a week.
Of course, the effect is temporary, and it will gradually return to normal after a week.
Aaron wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Snape's gaze was a little strange.
He could read excitement, trepidation, unease, embarrassment, and other emotions in that gaze. Anyone who didn't know better would have thought Snape wanted to borrow money from him!
Half an hour later, Aaron finished preparing the potion. He glanced at Snape and was surprised to find a hint of flattery in Snape's eyes, which sent a chill down his spine.
The sudden change in the professor, who was usually stern and authoritative, was quite unsettling for him.
Could it be that they want him to rejoin the academy team?
That won't do. I'd rather take a shower and get a good night's sleep than spend that time training!
After class, Aaron picked up his pet and was about to leave, but Snape stopped him as soon as he stood up.
"Gaius, come to my office this afternoon."
"Um...can you tell me why?"
I had agreed that I would only participate in Quidditch once.
"And I made that promise in front of everyone on the academy team; I'm not one to go back on my word."
Snape's face darkened. Since the House team lost Aaron as their Seeker, their strength had decreased significantly, and they had been overwhelmed by Gryffindor in just a few games.
Snape regretted it then, but he had promised Aaron that it would only be one match, so he couldn't bring Aaron back to the team and restore Slytherin's glory. He could only watch helplessly as Gryffindor's Seeker, Harry Potter, stole the show.
But thinking about what he was going to do next, Snape forced a stiff smile. "I'm here to talk to you about something else, nothing to do with the House team."
So don't misunderstand, and you absolutely must come.
Chapter 69 No Experience in Flirting
After class, Aaron arrived at Snape's office with a mix of trepidation and hesitation. He stood there, looking at the familiar yet unfamiliar door.
Normally he would have gone in without a second thought, but today Snape was acting very strangely, like a completely different person, which made him wary.
After a few seconds of silence, Aaron knocked on the door.
Snape's excited voice immediately rang out from inside the office, "Come in!"
