However, the Spacium ultimately failed to fire.

He realized that after being kicked down by his aerial whirlwind kick, the mantis had turned into a mosaic, and there seemed to be no need for a follow-up move.

Shen You reluctantly lowered his arm and canceled the Specium energy.

He made such a bold statement, I thought he was really powerful, but he only withstood half a combo and died before he could even unleash his ultimate move.

DC is such a dangerous place, how dare you be so arrogant when you're so bad at it?

The armor can still detect the presence of living creatures nearby.

She had smooth, soft blonde hair, big blue eyes, a fair and delicate face, and wore a white long dress made in Krypton with the iconic "S" on her chest, representing the El family crest.

In the canonical timeline, Superman already existed when Kara landed on Earth. Superman was the first to find her and provided her with shelter, which allowed her to grow up successfully on Earth.

So, Kara, who had just landed and hadn't even had enough sun, was most likely to end up like Superman in the parallel universe of "Flashpoint," captured by human agencies, imprisoned in a top-secret facility for alien experiments, and never seeing the light of day again.

Although not a member of the Space Garrison, Shen You, as an Ultraman, naturally dislikes this kind of thing.

"Huh?" The Kryptonian girl stared wide-eyed at Shen You in surprise. "How come you can speak Kryptonian?"

Batman once joked that Kryptonians weren't very bright, and it seems there's some truth to that. The little girl's slow reaction time only now realized that it was odd that the other person could understand her.

Of course, Shen You didn't understand Kryptonian language. He had learned quite a few alien languages, but they were all limited to the universe of the Land of Light. There was no Kryptonian in that universe.

He now communicates with Kara through telepathy.

However, since Kara hadn't noticed, he would explain later. Sharing a language would naturally make her feel at ease and lower her guard, especially in a place like Earth where he knew no one.

"You're from Krypton?"

"Huh? You know about our planet?"

“That badge,” Shen You gestured to the “S” on her chest, “is that the El family’s badge, right? I’ve been to Krypton and know some El family members.”

Let me guess, your dad is Joe Al?

“No, that’s my uncle. My father is Zo-El.”

At this point, the little girl's mouth trembled, and she lowered her head, on the verge of tears.

"What!?" Shen You feigned surprise. "How could this be... I haven't been there in a long time, I didn't even know. I'm so sorry."

"My parents sent me out at the last moment before the explosion, telling me to come to Earth and take care of my little cousin, but..."

Suddenly remembering something, she quickly grabbed Shen You's hand and said nervously, "We...we have to leave right away. There's something super scary chasing me!"

As Shen You spoke, he closed his helmet and walked toward Kara's spaceship, which was not far away.

"You can sit inside, we'll take it with us."

Kara hesitated for a moment, then suddenly asked, "Can I bring Strych with me?"

The little girl's eyes were full of anticipation.

“Stretch?” Shen You was taken aback.

Kara clapped her hands and gestured towards the bushes beside her.

“Stretch, come here.”

"Meow~"

A kitten trotted out of the bushes and leaped into Kara's arms, nuzzling affectionately against her chest.

The little girl hugged the cat and looked at him pitifully.

"Is it okay if it's my only friend?"
