"Is that so? He didn't succeed in the end?"

"No, but the result of that event was that the Earth Mother Gaia became pregnant."

Shen You: "?"

He suddenly felt that his quantum brain could no longer function.

No, what does this have to do with Gaia?

A quick Google search on the armor's built-in computer actually yielded relevant mythological accounts. It said that Hephaestus, in his attempt to assault Athena, missed and struck her thigh with a cannonball. Athena wiped it off with a parchment and casually tossed it to the ground, thus inadvertently causing Gaia, the Earth Goddess, to give birth to Erictonius, the later King of Athens.

Shen You: "."

Ultraman is shocked.JPG.

Gaia is truly incredibly unlucky; a child falls from the sky while she's at home. She's really getting caught in the crossfire even when she's just lying down.

Furthermore, Hephaestus was Zeus's son, and Gaia was Zeus's grandmother, making her the great-great-grandmother of Hephaestus. This is insane!

This is absolutely outrageous, ridiculously outrageous. Have your Greek gods always been this overpowered?

"That's the atmosphere at Olympus."

As if she could read his mind, Diana said helplessly, seemingly used to such situations.

"At least Hephaestus was a very good friend. He helped me a lot after I came to the human world, and almost all of my equipment was forged by him. This sword of the god of fire can even cut through subatomic particles."

She gestured to the long sword she was carrying on her back.

Shen You nodded. The scanner did indeed indicate that the sword was no ordinary object, containing a powerful magic similar to the will to "cut".

It's completely different from the comical "Godslayer" sword in the movie.

"As I said, he was practically my only friend on Olympus. If anyone could reveal the prophecy, it would probably be him."

Diana led the way while speaking, but Shen You couldn't help but pause.

Enemy attack alarm.

The instant you turn your head, a scorching heatwave bursts out from a furnace, and a giant shadow leaps out from between the churning lava, hurtling straight towards you!

It was a large fish, its entire body engulfed in flames, its scales shimmering with a crimson light, its gleaming body glowing red in the firelight.

Several meters long, it emitted waves of heat as it pounced. Its fish-like eyes were like blazing fireballs, and its sharp teeth gleamed with ferocity. A roar that seemed to come from the depths of hell burst forth from its dark mouth, and its body left a blinding trail of flames in the air.

"Get out of the way!"

Diana was startled and quickly turned to try and save her, but it was too late.

Because Shen You had already taken care of it himself.

Bang.

The sound of a metallic fist landing on the big fish.

A fleeting shockwave, the brief gust of wind that followed, instantly suppressed the heat waves from all the furnaces. The fish's scales caved in abruptly at the point where the fist struck, the wavy indentation spreading outwards.

One punch, and the roar stopped abruptly.

It was as if an air cannonball had pierced through the fish's body, leaving a bloody hole. The flames went out instantly, and the large fish, its eyes wide open, crashed to the ground, motionless.

Diana paused for a moment as she turned around.

"Well, or you can do it without dodging."

Shen You clapped his hands and stepped forward: "Do you usually receive such a warm welcome when you come here?"

"No, not usually. Only today."

"Diana!"

A powerful voice came from deep within.

Following the sound, they saw a short, burly craftsman striding towards them. He had strong, powerful muscles, bronze skin, long, curly black hair, and eyes that seemed to blaze with fire, flashing with anger.

And that face was indeed ugly in a way that's hard to describe.

The Olympian gods are all obsessed with looks, and the moment Shen You saw this face, he suddenly understood why Hera threw him away.

“Hephaestus,” Diana stepped forward. “It’s been a long time.”

"What are you doing, Diana?" Hephaestus roared. "You killed Capalfa!"

Shen You glanced at the large fish behind him whose flames had died down and raised an eyebrow.

This thing was originally Vulcan's pet?

“I’m sorry, Hephaestus, but it attacked us first,” Diana said.

"That's because you brought in a stranger. You broke the rules, so of course my good boy will attack!" Hephaestus shouted. "This is not a place for mortals!"

“He’s also my friend, and he’s not an ordinary person. But anyway, we’re still very sorry,” Diana said. “Tell me where this kind of fish lives, and I can go and catch another one for you. Ten will do, as compensation.”

"What do you think it is? Just a tool to help me forge? Capalfa is like my child, and every child is irreplaceable!" Vulcan shouted.

Diana wanted to say something more, but was interrupted by a lazy yet authoritative voice from above.

"Hephaestus? What are you making such a racket down there?"

The group looked in the direction of the sound and saw a purple figure floating in mid-air. The figure was dressed in a suit and leather shoes, wearing a tie, but was entirely dark purple, with golden flames burning in its eyes.

Diana frowned slightly.

"Apollo."

I'm feeling a bit exhausted from updating so much lately. I'll give myself two more updates a day to recover, and I'll continue with more updates tomorrow!

Chapter 114 is entirely a tribute.

Apollo, one of the twelve Olympian gods, is also the god of the sun.

Okay, this differs slightly from some myths. Some say that the true sun god in the pantheon should be Helios, while Apollo was originally just the god of light, and gradually became one with Helios in later myths.

But none of that matters. For Shen You, the only thing that matters in the current world is the standard of the DC universe, and clearly, under this universe, Apollo is the sun god.

This is the purple-faced man who appeared in front of them at that moment.

Shen You knew this, of course. He had obtained a Sun God's Energy Stone from the old wizard, which he later modified into part of the mobile armor's energy system.

“Apollo.” Diana’s expression stiffened slightly when she saw him.

“Yes, one of your chief gods, the Amazons. But considering that a part of your blood flows with ours, I will forgive your lack of manners,” Apollo said.

Unlike Hephaestus, who was dressed in the style of a traditional craftsman, the sun god was dressed like a modern gentleman, and his speech had the elegance of a high-society person. It seems that this god has integrated quite well into modern human society.

“But there’s one thing I have to say: I really can’t compliment your taste in friends.” Apollo landed in front of Diana with his hands behind his back. “I don’t understand why you always like to hang out with mortals.”

First the pilot, then the female archaeologist? I heard you've become enemies.

He was clearly referring to Steve Trevor and Cheetah, both of whom are among the most important characters in the Wonder Woman story.

“Watch your words, Apollo,” Diana said coldly.

"Alright, alright, let's not talk about that. But what about this mortal?" Apollo looked at Shen You with disdain. "This thing isn't even human. It's some strange creature from a star."

Shen You: "."

"To be honest, sister, I don't want to tell you what to do. But Olympus has its rules; if something dirty gets into the house, I have to sweep it out."

Apollo walked up to Shen You, his golden eyes narrowing. Golden light spilled from the corners of his eyes, looking like some kind of transparent flame, as if containing an unyielding anger.

"A strange creature hiding in a shell. What, are you afraid to show your true face to people?" Apollo chuckled mockingly.

“That’s not it.” Shen You looked directly at him and said calmly, “To be honest, this shell is to prevent you from getting hurt.”

"Ha, quite the boast."

Apollo's expression hardened, and he snapped his fingers.

Shen You saw a "Abnormal Gravity" warning suddenly pop up on the display screen in front of him, and the next moment his body was uncontrollably thrown backward. As if an invisible hand had thrown him and his armor into the scorching furnace behind him, molten lava-like liquid burst out of the furnace, accompanied by a wave of heat that hissed and steamed.

"Stop it!"

Diana teleported to Apollo and grabbed him by the collar: "What have you done? Release my friend!"

Apollo, though being held by the collar, remained as elegant as a gentleman: "Don't blame me, sister, he brought this on himself. This is what happens when you dare to defy the gods."

Before the words were even finished, a voice rang in their ears.

"No need for him, Diana."

The scorching magical magma poured down, and a red-silver body slowly emerged from the heatwave. Magma rolled over his body, and his round eyes seemed to glow with a golden, fiery light.

Hephaestus adjusted the large glasses on his nose, the lenses reflecting his red and silver body covered in rolling lava, his face full of bewilderment.

"My furnace. How could he...?"

That's the furnace of the Vulcan!

Even he himself—the god of fire on Olympus—didn't dare jump in like that; countless divine artifacts had been produced from this furnace. How could anyone emerge from it unscathed?

The figure above the furnace vanished in the next moment.

With a speed beyond everyone's imagination, a blurry red and silver afterimage flashed through the air and a powerful punch locked onto Apollo's nose, striking him head-on!

Apollo's expression changed, and without thinking, he immediately raised his arm to block.

He was just as fast as ordinary people, but from Shen You's perspective, the action of raising his arm to block was like a slow-motion shot.

Shen You feinted a punch at the front, then shifted his body, circled halfway around the Sun God's body, and landed behind him, unleashing a supersonic Soul-Severing Liver-Exploding Fist that struck the Sun God's waist and abdomen.

Apollo grunted, staggered, and his defensive stance immediately relaxed. Taking advantage of the moment, Shen You turned and punched him in the face from the left.

His face contorted from the impact, and a burst of golden flame, like blood, sprayed from his mouth. The explosive force of his punch sent Apollo crashing through several walls, tumbling and flying a great distance.

Seeing the body that suddenly appeared in front of her, so fast that she could barely see it with her dynamic vision, Diana couldn't help but show a look of surprise.

Suddenly I think I understand why my mother asked him to help her.

"Sorry for your room." Shen You withdrew his fist and turned to Hephaestus beside him.

Hephaestus finally snapped out of his shock at being sent flying by a single punch, then adjusted his goggles and laughed heartily.

"It's nothing. I was already planning to renovate anyway."

Suddenly, I felt that Vulcan had become much more polite and courteous.
