During the short time He Ao held the sword, his hand became a little numb.
"Looks like we succeeded?"
Li Cheng put away the Andaville Spear in the wooden box, closed the box, and walked towards Heo.
He Aoneng could clearly see that his walking posture was somewhat stiff, as if he had been electrocuted.
Although Li Cheng controls the power of lightning, it doesn't prevent him from being electrocuted.
"We got lucky."
He Ao nodded slightly, and the Verola appeared behind him. He released his grip, and the Shadowless Sword in his hand turned into a shadow and flew into the Verola. His entire arm was already slightly numb.
You don't look too well.
He Ao looked at Li Cheng's stiff movements and asked softly.
“I’m used to it,”
Li Cheng chuckled and sat back down in his chair. "People who play with electricity are bound to get shocked a few times. I'm used to it, just like when I was young I liked to play with nunchucks and I would always get hit on the head."
"It seems the power of thunder isn't easy to use either,"
He Ao sat back down in his chair and looked at Li Cheng. "Thank you very much for your help. Let's continue the transaction..."
"Wait a moment,"
Li Cheng looked at He Ao, then paused, seemingly choosing his words, "What you asked us to prepare before..."
Those extraordinary plant and animal materials have already been placed in the designated warehouse.
He Ao didn't speak immediately, but stared at Li Cheng. He knew that this wasn't what Li Cheng really wanted to say.
Finally, after a brief exchange, Li Cheng slowly asked, "May I ask where you're going later?"
“I already took those materials before I came,”
He Ao said, "Next, I might leave here and go to a place that's quite far away."
Upon hearing this, Li Cheng paused, understanding the meaning behind He Ao's words. He said softly, "If you encounter any researchers entering the ruins, could you lend them a hand?"
"You want to use this to replace the original transaction details?"
He Ao raised his head and looked at him. "Don't you want to hear what I'm about to tell you? Perhaps this knowledge contains information related to your ascension to angel. You've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, haven't you? You might miss it and never have another chance."
"Promotion is the future, and these children are the future too, aren't they?"
Li Cheng smiled and said, "There's a child inside who just turned eighteen. I can wait for my future, but they might not be able to."
He Ao gazed at the gentle-smiling man before him. "Most of the time you don't seem stupid, but sometimes you don't seem smart."
He slowly rose to his feet, the roar of a ship's horn sounding behind him. "I can't guarantee I can help you rescue them, so our previous deal still stands. We'll see what happens when I get back."
He turned and stepped onto the door of the Verola.
"Thank you."
Li Cheng said softly from behind.
He Ao, standing in front of the car door, simply waved his hand gently.
The roaring train sped into the void.
-
On the Verola, Heo's clone walked into the front of the car.
His gaze fell upon the central part of the front control panel, upon the mass of flesh and blood that pulsated like a heart.
This is the core of the Verola.
He walked up to the mass of flesh and blood.
Originally, the runes on this flesh and blood were engraved with magic circles pointing to the angel, but He Ao later changed them to 'K' pointing to himself.
This was the first time Heo had entered the Verola since acquiring it, and it was the first time he had done so in a long time.
He didn't know about many of the car's capabilities; he had to figure them out himself.
He stared at the mass of flesh and blood, countless thoughts swirling in his mind.
He said softly, "Show me the spacetime coordinates of my current location."
The pulsating flesh paused slightly, and then, dense crimson shadows appeared in the void. These shadows twisted and rolled, eventually coalescing into distorted symbols and patterns.
These symbols and patterns come together and fill all the space at the front of the car.
He stood in the very center of the front of the car, gazing at the enormous blood-red pattern.
'All devices capable of traversing time and space can read the spacetime coordinates of their location.'
Some new information emerged during He's probing.
The Verola cannot travel outside its current spacetime coordinates without a spacetime coordinate system, which is why it is restricted to traveling only on this planet.
He raised his hand, and the blood-red shadows began to twist according to his will.
Transformed into new patterns and symbols.
Ultimately, these shadows form a completely new spacetime coordinate system.
The spacetime coordinates of the Navigator.
I'm having a bit of writer's block, will be back later.
Chapter 636 The Madman and the King (Long Chapter, Requesting Monthly Tickets)
The sharp spear scraped through the heavy gate, accompanied by a dazzling flash of lightning, and the huge, towering gate finally shattered, breaking open a hole as tall as a person.
The arched figure holding a spear slowly pried open the reinforcing metal bar embedded inside the gate and looked inside the huge arched gate.
It was a magnificent and spacious circular hall.
The main structure of this hall is formed by the smooth, pure silver curved metal walls, while huge circular chandeliers, like stars falling from the sky, are arranged in a staggered pattern to illuminate the hall.
Twelve enormous, faintly glowing silver metal pillars stand staggered on the clean, mirror-like metal floor, resembling stars forming a dazzling constellation.
At the very center of these twelve metal pillars stands a huge, hollow, silver-gray dodecahedral crystal. This crystal has a side length of more than two meters, with one vertex standing on the ground, supporting its entire body.
The star-like lights overhead shone on the radiant surface, reflecting a crystalline glow.
This place doesn't resemble the core control room of a spaceship; rather, it's more like a sacred church dedicated to a deity.
The hunched figure's gaze passed through the upright metal pillars and lingered above the dodecahedral crystal.
There, a gold bracelet inlaid with five-colored gemstones—red, yellow, blue, green, and purple—and engraved with reliefs of lions, tigers, elephants, and whales, floated in the air, constantly rotating.
The bright red blood stained the magnificent gold bracelet, reflecting an eerie color in the sacred hall.
The hunched figure glanced at the gleaming ground in front of him, reflecting a dazzling light, and then at the dark cabin behind him, littered with blood and corpses.
He raised his spear, stepped over the gate, and walked step by step toward the very center of the hall.
The moment he crossed the gate, he felt his mind clear up instantly, and all the noisy sounds and hallucinations vanished in that instant.
The clean ground reflected his body covered in gray veins.
He gazed at the golden bracelet floating in the air; he knew that was what had been drawing him in all along.
As he got closer and closer to the bracelet, he felt his memories becoming blurred. The memories of how he got here and why he got here were gradually fading and becoming fainter.
Finally, he reached the very center of the hall and stood before the dodecahedral crystal. He reached out, attempting to climb onto the crystal and touch the golden bracelet that floated in the air.
And just as he reached out his hand, a faint, translucent light emanated from the twelve metal pillars.
The hunched figure felt as if its hand had touched an invisible wall.
His outstretched palm touched the invisible wall as if pressing into a ball of cotton. Immediately afterward, a tremendous suction force surged from the invisible wall, frantically devouring his power.
He quickly withdrew his hand and took half a step back.
Then he looked up at the surrounding metal pillars. It seemed that this invisible wall was connected to these pillars; if these pillars were destroyed…
"I think you probably shouldn't touch this thing, at least not right now."
. "
At that moment, a young man's voice, slightly out of breath, rang out behind him.
The hunched figure turned around and looked behind him. He stared at the somewhat familiar face, his gaze sweeping over the person's tattered clothes and wounded skin.
"It seems your journey hasn't been smooth?"
"good."
He Ao, carrying the mechanical broadsword, smiled and stood up straight.
He gazed at the surrounding metal pillars. Surprisingly, this core control room of the spaceship was the least polluted place on the entire ship.
From these metal pillars, He Ao could vaguely sense some familiar auras, auras belonging to martial arts divine sense.
He activated his divine sense and scanned his surroundings.
"He, you're a pretty good guy,"
Iver looked at Heo and said, "I don't think we need to be so confrontational. We can cooperate."
"Is that a Grade B extraordinary item?"
He Ao looked up at the golden bracelet floating in the air, then at Iver. "It seems you really need it? Is it related to your promotion to B-rank? Is this your real purpose?"
"You are very smart."
Iver smiled.
"What about the first mate's access key?"
He asked in a low voice.
Upon hearing this, Iver paused, then chuckled. "It seems we're not making a choice?"
"That sounds rather greedy."
He Ao shrugged.
