Life Dungeon Game

On the vast and boundless sea, all sorts of mysterious legends are told.
Faced with the unknown waves and monsters of the deep sea, those who sail on the ocean will more or less believe in fate and the gods.
They had flown this route so many times, and they had never seen such a thick fog around the city of Newland.
May the storms and the goddess of fortune protect us.
The captain sighed softly, then said in a low voice, "Reduce speed and approach slowly."
The massive cargo ship slowly sailed across the sea, passing far past the islands and reefs scattered around it, gradually disappearing into the thick fog.
Just as the ship was mostly submerged in the thick fog, the radio on the control panel suddenly rang.
The captain immediately picked up the radio and said, "Hello, this is the Acorn Tree, please speak."
A slightly noisy voice came from the walkie-talkie.
"This is Port Velen. An unusually dense fog has appeared near the city-state of Newland. Please do not enter the foggy area near Newland. To reiterate, please... *sizzle*... do not... *sizzle*... enter the... dense fog... near Newland..."
The captain looked up at the glass windows of the bridge, which were obscured by thick fog, and fell into a brief silence.
There were no more human voices coming from the walkie-talkie, only a hissing noise.
"Captain, the satellite positioning system has lost contact!"
One of the crew members in the back row immediately shouted.
"Where's the radar?!"
The first mate, standing on the other side, immediately shouted, "Is the radar affected?"
"Radar...radar has no effect,"
One of the crew members looked at the radar control screen, swallowed hard, and said in a slightly hoarse voice, "The radar shows there's nothing around."
A brief silence fell over the entire driver's cab.
There couldn't be nothing around them; not far ahead of them lay an archipelago city-state consisting of five main islands.
"Slow down, turn around, hard left, we need to get out of here immediately!"
The captain turned to the radio in his hand and looked around, where the radio now covered the entire ship.
He shouted loudly through the thick fog.
The helmsman immediately turned the rudder like a whirlwind.
The entire massive ship began to turn in accordance with the deflection of the rudder.
boom--
A deafening clap of thunder suddenly echoed in the sky.
The once calm sea surface suddenly began to heave violently.
The massive, heavy ship began to sway up and down and side to side. Seawater surged up from one side, slapped against the ship's side, and then fell back onto the surface of the sea. The entire ship gradually became out of control.
"A storm, a storm!"
Some of the younger crew members on the ship shouted out in a somewhat out of control.
Vast amounts of seawater fell from the sky like raindrops, splashing onto the surface of the cockpit windows.
This enormous ship, under the power of the sea and the storm, was as light as a goose feather falling into the water, and could be capsized by the waves at any moment.
At this moment, the captain pushed past the helmsman and reached out to steady the spinning steering wheel.
The swaying ship rocked the old captain's body all around, the undulating sea surface swept over the flat deck, and the surging seawater rushed over the deck surface and flowed down from all sides.
boom--
A flash of lightning streaked across the thick fog, accompanied by a roar that sounded like the wrath of a god.
"Look, what is that?"
One of the crew members grabbed the edge of the wall and pointed his finger overhead.
In the thick fog, it looked as if some huge, long object was passing by.
"It's a train! It's a train!"
Someone in the crowd shouted, "A train traveling in the sky!!!"
"Oh my god, the train is flying through the sky, am I going to die?!"
"A miracle! A miracle! Storm Goddess, save us!"
"Mom, I want to go home..."
······
Amidst the chaotic commotion, the old captain calmly gripped the helm, watching the train passing through the clouds. The train wasn't moving fast, as if it were waiting for them.
"Follow that car!"
Without hesitation, the old captain abruptly pulled the rudder and corrected the course.
It was too late to turn the ship around. The giant ship sailed through the surging waves, following the trajectory of the train in the fog, and entered the deepest part of the storm.
After an unknown amount of time, the raging storm seemed to gradually subside, leaving only the sound of seawater dripping from the ship's side.
A few points of light appeared in the thick fog ahead, and as the giant ship moved forward, the last wisp of fog parted.
The bright sunlight finally shone on the window, which was covered with water droplets, once again.
Sometime later, the 'guiding' train ahead had disappeared, leaving only the dazzling sunlight shining on the shimmering sea.
"We survived."
Have we made it through the thick fog?
"Is this Newland Harbor?"
A low, almost sobbing sigh came from the crowd.
The captain, gripping the rudder, swayed and nearly fell. He held onto the edge of the rudder, picked up his binoculars, and glanced around.
There were no huge islands looming ahead, only an endless sea.
"This is Port Velen, the Oak Tree. Can you hear me? Please be careful, do not enter the outer perimeter of Newland City-State..."
The broken walkie-talkie still carried a hissing voice.
The old captain staggered to the door, opened the wheelhouse door, and, gripping the ship's railing, looked towards...
Ahead, the boundless sea came into his view.
He turned around, and behind him was a thick, hazy fog, with shadows upon shadows.
This wasn't Newland Harbor; it was a place not far from where they had just entered the thick fog.
They followed the train across the thick fog, but instead of reaching the other side, they returned to where they started.
Just then, the old captain's gaze fell on a small island reef in the distance.
He picked up his binoculars and looked in that direction.
An old stone house, which looks to be at least a hundred years old, stands on the island reef, and in front of the stone house, at the edge of the sea, stands a tall and thin figure.
His gaze was fixed on the depths of the thick fog, as if he were deep in thought.
Almost at the same time the old captain spotted the figure, the figure also seemed to notice that the old captain was looking at him. He turned his head, looked in the old captain's direction, and nodded slightly to him.
The old captain slowly lowered his binoculars, took off his tightly secured hat, and bowed slightly in that direction.
Then he put away his hat and slowly walked back to the driver's seat.
······
The undulating seawater lapped against the rocks beneath his feet. He Ao turned his gaze away from the giant ship and looked once more at the thick fog that covered the entire city-state.
After dealing with the monster, he rushed over and saw this thick fog.
Deep within that dense fog lies not the city of Newland, but a chaotic veil of space.
There, space is chaotic and fragmented; what is in front may be behind, and what is to the left may be to the right.
He had just used this characteristic to maneuver the Verola to probe the spatial structure within the dense fog, while simultaneously taking the Acorn Tree out of the fog.
Of course, he can do this because the Verola, as a space shuttle, is very sensitive to the stability of the spatial structure and can effectively utilize areas where the direction is disordered but the spatial structure still maintains a certain degree of stability.
If anyone else were to venture into the dense fog, they could easily get lost in the chaotic space and be buried by the storm.
Even He Ao did not enter the deepest part of the fog, but only took advantage of the spatial distortion in the outer layer.
Actually, his initial idea was to use the Verola to bypass the dense fog and see if he could directly enter the Newland city-state.
But he failed.
In fact, not only that thick fog, but the entire city-state of Newland, enveloped by the fog, was completely filled with chaotic space.
Even the Verola cannot reach such a spatially chaotic area.
Based on He Ao's current experience, the Verola's method of time travel is to take a 'shortcut' by using some kind of inner space that is not in the surface world.
Each of the Verola's "shuttles" involves a process of "diving" into the inner space and then "surfacing" back to the surface space.
The chaotic space within the Newland city-state prevents the Verola from surfacing normally, thus preventing it from reaching its destination and entering the Newland city-state.
He'ao's gaze was fixed on the enormous fog that shrouded the city-state.
This kind of misty and chaotic space is clearly not something a Class B could create.
The one who created all of this was probably at least an angel.
He Ao turned around and walked away.
They entered the stone house behind them.

Newland City
He Ao pushed open the door, raised the bone sword in his hand, and with one stroke cut off the crab-like monster in front of him, whose eyes were on its abdomen.
He glanced at the little boy shivering in the corner beside him. "There are military police gathering people on the street outside. Go quickly."
The little boy looked at Heo with trembling eyes; he still seemed hesitant and afraid.
