In everyone's 'vision', a thin man with a sword appeared out of thin air, and was grabbed by the neck by this large hand.

Immediately afterwards, with a gentle twist and a toss, the man with the sword was sent flying.

The burly leader immediately jumped out and caught his companion, but he was also knocked back half a step, with one foot plunging into the ground.

The man with the sword coughed up blood and fainted.

The burly man leading the group looked up at the owner of the large hand, a blond youth with sharp features, dressed in a white robe.

"Lelen?"

The burly man in the lead handed his companion behind him and looked at the blond youth.

"Via, it's been a long time."

The blond youth grinned, staring at the burly man in the lead.

More and more people gathered behind him, watching the burly man in the lead.

"Lelen, you can't stop me,"

The burly leader glanced around at the Eternal Cult warriors, touched his chest, and said with a slightly grim expression, "If you step aside now, I might spare your life."

"We'll find out if we can stop them by trying. I know your heretical leader gave you something, but do you think we'd be completely unprepared?"

Leren smiled. "You don't think I can mobilize so many people, do you? Via, I'll prepare funeral fireworks for you, if you can leave with a whole body."

Upon hearing this, the burly man leading the group finally turned serious. "Levins is here too?"

The people behind him all turned pale at the same time.

In the dark, cramped, and dilapidated alley,

The man in the white robe was moving quickly through the snow.

“Lord Levins, all the surrounding passages have been sealed off, and the sky is also under surveillance, but no trace of the child has been found. He is very likely still in the vicinity.”

The man standing next to Levins spoke softly to Levins, who was in the lead.

"Ah."

Levins nodded.

At that moment, a young man in white robes hurried up from behind.

"Lord Levins, we've found the heretics. There are six of them in total, just as the intelligence indicated. Five of them have been cornered by Lord Levins in the alley on the west side, and we've found one in the bar. She injured our men and escaped, and the team on the north side is currently pursuing her."

The young man in the white robe glanced at the special frequency communicator in his hand and quickly reported to Levins, "Lena, the owner of the Dead Tree Bar, may have connections with those heretics. Should we take her into custody?"

"Need not,"

Levins calmly shook his head.

"Prioritize the issues, maintain control over the people in the bar, and demand Lena's cooperation."

"She's a businesswoman, and it's not so easy for her to decide to fight us, especially when the signal is blocked and she can't contact outside support."

"Although we have a large number of people, there is no need to fight on two fronts. Let's concentrate our efforts on one thing first. The security alliance's problem is very important, but we can deal with it later when we have more time."

"Don't create a large number of enemies in a short period of time, as this will only give the heretics an opportunity to break through. Arrange for the squad on the south side to support Leron. Make sure to keep those heretics there, at least until I resolve the problem here."

"I'll be there once I've dealt with that kid; they can't escape."

He paused, then looked at the young man in white robes. "How's the battle in the east? Have the reinforcements from those heretics been dealt with? According to the previously reported data, the forces there shouldn't be very strong?"

When he asked this question, the young man in white robes changed his expression slightly and said in a low voice, "I was just about to tell you about this."

Levins raised an eyebrow, realizing something was amiss. He stopped and looked at the young man in white. "Tell me slowly."

"Those 'off-road vehicle convoys' that suddenly appeared from the east have been dealt with; we successfully defeated them and captured them,"

The young man in white robes said softly, "But the situation is a little different from what we expected."

"Ok?"

Levins looked at him.

The young man in the white robe glanced at Levins cautiously before continuing.

“These people are not ‘heretics,’ but rather people who went to support the Cloud District today. They claim to have seen the vehicle of the Cloud District’s High Priest ‘Swent’ and discovered ‘Swent’s’ defection, which is why they chased after him.”

The surrounding air grew colder, and the white-robed youth shivered before cautiously saying, "And then we accidentally ran into each other..."

"Then why are they running?"

"Levins asked in a cold voice."

“They thought we were a ‘ambush’ set up by the security alliance.”

The young man in the white robe glanced at Levins's gloomy face and mumbled something.

How many men did the Eastern Front squad lose?

Levins pressed his hand to his forehead and then asked.

white

The young man in the robe dared not look at Levins's expression any longer, and quickly replied, "More than a third of them resisted fiercely, and half of their men were lost in the battle. The rest were mostly wounded, but their high priest, Bayt, survived."

"In other words, we lost a lot of manpower and surrounded and dealt a heavy blow to our friendly forces?"

Levins wiped his cheek with his hand and took a deep breath.

The pitch-black night was eerily quiet, and the icy air seeped into everyone's collar.

None of the white-robed priests around dared to utter a word. In all the time they had followed Levins, this was the first time they had seen this 'composed gentleman' display such outrageous anger.

After a long while, Levins took another deep breath and asked, "How's that idiot Bayer doing now?"

"He sustained some injuries, but they were from the fight with the FBI earlier. His condition is...not bad..."

The young man in the white robe answered cautiously.

Levins: ?

Half of your men died and you're completely unharmed, huh?

How can you govern a church with these idiots around?

After a brief silence, he spoke, "Have this guy guard the signal jammer. Don't let any distress signals get out before the battle is over. Then send the troops on the eastern front to the west to help Leren."

"OK,"

The young man in white robes nodded, then asked in a low voice, "Sir, what about that Swind...?"

"Ignore him. High priests don't betray you so easily. This guy is most likely a trap to lure that fool Bayert here. He's probably a fake."

Levins lifted his foot and continued forward. "Even if it's not a fake, and he really did betray us, it's still related to the forces behind that child. As long as we find that child and get rid of him and the forces behind him, these problems will be solved."

He walked quickly through the snow. "The reason those guys attracted Bayer is most likely because they discovered us and wanted to create chaos to escape. Their senses are very sharp, but they can't get away."

A subtle pressure permeated the entire alleyway; everyone held their breath, afraid to even breathe loudly.

Levins continued forward, his voice icy, a faint golden light brushing across his body. "I will personally execute them, hang their blood-stained corpses, and let everyone see the consequences of defying the eternal light."

A slight, cool breeze blew under the night sky, carrying light snowflakes that landed on the white robes of passersby.

Dead Tree Bar

The tightly closed office door was slowly pushed open, and a young waitress walked in.

"How's the situation outside?"

Looking at the woman in the red dress standing by the window, Lena gazed at the dark city outside and asked in a low voice.

"The Eternal Secret Cult has taken control of the hall and is driving all the guests out of the private rooms, checking each room one by one. However, they have not taken any drastic actions and are being quite polite to most of the guests."

The waitress closed the door and answered softly.

"The one who came this time is a smart one,"

The woman in the red dress sighed, "It's really not easy to find a smart and calm person among that group of fanatical lunatics."

"

She turned around and glanced at the waitress.

"If this guy climbs the ranks and eventually gains power, he could pose a huge threat to us."

She walked to the desk, pressed a hidden switch, and with a soft click, the bookshelf behind the desk slowly opened, revealing a deep and narrow underground passage.

She looked up at the waitress. "The passage is quite narrow, only one person can pass at a time, but it's not long. Going out from here should allow you to bypass the signal shielding range of the Eternal Secret Sect. You should know the way."

"There might be spies and surveillance equipment from the Eternal Cult nearby. Although their attention is probably focused on those old men from the old cult right now, we still need to be careful."

"Boss, you should go first."

The waitress glanced down the corridor and said in a low voice.

“If I leave, the Eternal Secret Sect will definitely find out immediately, and you will all be in danger. At least for now, the Eternal Secret Sect won't attack us. I'm safe, so you don't need to worry.”

Lena shook her head and said slowly, "After you get there, spread the word and have the Federation gather people to prepare for support. Once the Eternal Cult has dealt with those troublemakers, they will definitely turn their attention to us."

Then she waved her hand, "Go on, the people of the Eternal Cult should be coming to find me soon."

The waitress nodded slightly and quickly walked into the passageway.

Lena reached out and flipped the switch, shutting off the passage.

She sighed softly and looked out the window again.

Snowflakes drifted down into the quiet city.

In an alley not far from the Dead Tree Bar, a young boy in a down jacket leaned against an SUV and reached out to catch the falling snowflakes.

The snow-white ice crystals melted in his palm as the heavy footsteps echoed from the other side of the alley.

He looked up in the direction from which the footsteps were coming.

A group of people in white robes stopped on the other side of the alley. They looked up almost simultaneously, staring at the little boy leaning against the SUV.

"Are you waiting for me here?"
