The three insect-cage cats spoke one after another.

"How about this, we'll help you find companions, and you can trade seeds with me, how about that?" Su Yi suggested.

This way, we won't have to go through so much trouble to search for it. The ancient tree is so big; who knows how long it would take to find it.

"Meow, if you help us find companions, we can give you the seeds, meow," said the lead cat.

"My name is Su Yi, and this is my companion, Lu Cao. Leave the search for our companion to us," Su Yi said.

"My name is Lumi, his name is Lutang, and his name is Lubing, meow," the cat named Lumi introduced herself.

"Wow? They both have the surname Lu." Su Yi was a little surprised, although he knew that this wasn't considered a surname for cats.

"Do you have any of your companions' belongings?" Su Yi asked.

Of the three cats, Lu Bing, who seemed the most frightened, took out a string of animal tooth pendants and said, "This is a pendant belonging to one of the members of their team, meow."

Su Yi took the pendant with the broken cord, took out the insect guide canister, let the insect remember the scent, and then began to track it.

"You should come with us, so we can explain things to them later."

The three cats readily agreed.

Su Yi put away the Anjanath and replaced it with the more agile Tobi-Kadachi.

The Insect Cage Cats are cautious by nature. At the slightest disturbance, they can slip away far away in the blink of an eye. If the Anjanath's movements startle the Insect Cage Cats, they will quickly disappear into the dense and complex forest.

The Tobi-Dragon has a broad back, allowing one person and four cats to sit on it. Guided by the guide insects, the Tobi-Dragon nimbly traverses the forest.

While tracking, Su Yi chatted with the Insect Cage Cat and asked it some questions.

He learned that the three cats were siblings: Lumi, the eldest, Lutang, the second, and Lubing, the youngest.

Like the lost team, they were a patrol team of the Insect Cage tribe, mainly responsible for patrolling the area around the tribe.

“Recently, we found a fire dragon returning to its nest with injuries, meow. We believe that a powerful creature has appeared in the forest, so we want to gather information, meow.”

"But the scouting team hasn't returned yet, so we came out to search, meow."

“We only found a broken pendant nearby. They must have encountered some danger, meow,” Lumi said, though she was a little worried, she remained calm and composed.

Lumi analyzed, "Recently, there have been more Great Ferocious Jackal Dragons, and they have started to compete for territory frequently among themselves. They may also have been drawn into it, meow."

Su Yi asked, "The fire dragon is injured. What kind of injury is it?"

Lumi thought for a moment and said, "It looks like some claw marks and some charred marks, meow. The fire dragon was a bit irritable because of its injury, so we didn't dare to get close to take a closer look, meow."

"Scratch marks, scorch marks, skillful use of claws, using fire-attribute attacks?" Su Yi murmured. Black Wolf Bird? Azure Rathalos?

As the guide worm followed its trail, more and more traces gradually appeared along the way.

Some of the thick trees were covered with claw marks, and like the marks that were first discovered, those claw marks were obscured by other claw marks, and some marks were covered by pale hair.

"It seems this is a fierce battle for territory," Su Yi said.

Following the guide insect, they arrived near a stream. Continuing to follow the guidance, the stream gradually widened, and it appeared that there was a pool of water ahead.

"If there is a water source ahead," Su Yi murmured.

"Then there might be a monster cat coming to drink!" Lucao warned warily.

Su Yi and the cat dismounted from the Flying Thunder Dragon, then put it away, intending to approach cautiously.

The guide insect floated and led the group to a small pond in the forest.

"Watch out!" Su Yi caught a glimpse of the danger and stopped everyone from advancing, then hid behind a large tree.

Lumi's eyes were filled with caution, Lutang cleverly followed Su Yi to hide, while Lubing was so frightened that her paws trembled.

Su Yi cautiously peeked out half his head and looked towards the pool.

Beside the pool, a red figure stopped drinking and spread its wings.

"Rathalos" Su Yi held the Swiftmane's Catch Ball in his hand, while scanning his surroundings, searching for the lost Bug Cage Cat.

"Where are you? Or have you left?" Su Yi murmured.

The guidefly's guidance ends here, indicating that the cat is nearby, but the Rathalos is interfering with the guidefly's tracking.

“There it is, meow.” Lumi also poked half her head out, and then, following the hiding habits of their insect cage tribe, she discovered them.

As Lumi's gaze followed, above the Rathalos, on a suspension bridge woven from vines, three cats cowered in fear, trying to conceal themselves with the sparse leaves on the vines.

After drinking the water, the male fire dragon spread its wings and took flight. If it could rise just a little higher, it would be able to see the cat on the vines directly.

Lumi was startled and, holding something in her hand, prepared to rush forward.

At this moment, the male Rathalos turned around and began to mark the tree trunk next to it with its claws. It was the owner of the damaged claw marks that had been found along the way.

"Should we just charge in and suppress the Rathalos?" Su Yi pondered, worried that the Rathalos or its companion might accidentally injure the nearby cat.

Whoosh whoosh.

The male fire dragon glanced with satisfaction at the mark on the tree trunk, amidst the flapping of its wings and the sound of running approaching from afar.

Rustle, thud.

The strange noise became clear in an instant, and the Rathalos let out a fierce roar as it looked around.

The three cats above huddled together. The male fire dragon, looking around, soon spotted the trembling cats. It opened its mouth slightly in agitation, flames brewing within. The three cats on the vines could clearly feel the heat of the flames.

"Charge!" Su Yi ran out quickly a moment earlier, ready to throw the Swift Cat's Capture Ball.

call!

Just then, a figure crackling with lightning burst out of the forest, leaped into the air, and pounced on the Rathalos.

Bang!

Before it could even unleash a breath of fire, the Rathalos was slammed to the ground from mid-air.

"Roar!" The Rathalos shoved the attacker away with its claws, quickly stood up, and roared furiously at it.

The newcomer quickly regained his footing, showing no weakness, and roared to the sky.

"Awwww——"

The pale yellow lightning shell opened, and lightning surged and shimmered among the pale fur. Several parts of its body lit up with azure electric sparks.

Sizzle, sizzle.

Countless lightning bolts danced around it, and bolts of lightning exploded around it, as if a thunder god had descended.

"Peerless Hunter - Thunder Wolf Dragon!" Su Yi exclaimed in amazement.

The Thunder Wolf Dragon glanced briefly at Su Yi, who was not far away beside it, with its beastly eyes that seemed to radiate lightning, before turning its gaze back to the Rathalos.

"Everything makes sense! Claw marks, pale fur, scorch marks on the Rathalos's body—it was caused by being struck by lightning!" Su Yi suddenly realized.

Chapter 164 The Forest's Concerto, Thunder Dragons Dancing Together!

Based on the traces Su Yi had investigated, it was highly likely that the Thunderjaw Dragon had already left the outer edge of the Ancient Forest.

Meanwhile, with Su Yi having subdued the Tobi-Kadachi and Anjanath, the large vacant territory was quickly divided up by other monsters.

Besides the original few monsters, the Thunder Wolf Dragon appeared from nowhere and seized the fertile territory.

And its conflict with the original overlord of this region—Rathalos—was inevitable.

Judging from previous evidence, the two sides are engaged in a full-scale territorial struggle, and have clashed more than once.

The two sides were like enemies meeting, their eyes blazing with hatred, completely ignoring Su Yi and his group.

Rathalos roared and took flight, while Zinogre stared intently at the low-flying Rathalos, its powerful limbs twitching with anticipation.

"Save the cat first!" Su Yi released the Steel Crow.

"Lumi, get on Steel Crow and go rescue your companions first!" Su Yi patted Steel Crow and pointed to the three cats on the vines in the distance.

The situation was critical, and Lumi didn't even have time to marvel at the Steel-Armored Raven that suddenly emerged from the small ball. She nodded emphatically and said, "Thank you for your help, meow!"

Lumi quickly climbed onto the back of the Steelraven.

"Caw!" The Steel-Armored Raven watched the two monsters probing each other in the center of the small pool and flew upwards towards them without fear.

"Roar!" The Rathalos, unable to contain itself, made the first move, unleashing a series of exploding fireballs with a roar.

Boom boom boom!

The flames from the exploding fireball illuminated a small portion of the dim forest stream.

"Roar!" The Thunder Wolf Dragon moved nimbly, dodging and weaving across the undulating terrain of rocks and tree roots, narrowly avoiding the flames bursting from the fireball.

As the two fought, Corviknight dashed forward, flew over Rathalos's head, and landed on the vines.

The Rathalos noticed the Corviknight flying boldly overhead, and, annoyed, spread its wings and gave chase.

Just then, Zinogre seized the opportunity, leaped high into the air, grabbed Rathalos's tail with its claws, and used its strength and weight to pull it down to the ground.

On the back of the Steel Crow, Lumi called out anxiously, "Friends, come on up, meow! Someone's coming to help us, meow!"

"It's Lumi-chan!"

"We're saved, meow!" The three cats breathed a sigh of relief and quickly climbed onto the back of the Corviknight.

"Caw!" After the cat sat down, the Steel-Armored Raven flapped its wings and flew towards Su Yi.

"Roar!" The Rathalos, forced to fall from the sky, used its claws to grab the back of the Zinogre, and began to breathe heavily.

Sensing danger, the Zinogre suddenly lunged forward, causing the Rathalos to stagger and its breath to miss a rock.

Although the exploding flames still burned the Zinogre, it wasn't a big problem.

Rathalos took the opportunity to fly back into the air, but by sheer coincidence, Corviknight flew right in front of it. Rathalos's face turned fierce, and flames began to gather in its mouth once more.

"Hooray!"

Just then, a ferocious roar rang out, and a deep red phantom swiftly climbed up a tall tree, then leaped high into the air, opening its sharp claws and fiercely pouncing on the Rathalos, its sharp teeth tearing fiercely at its neck.

The male Rathalos let out a painful roar, flapped its wings, and charged headlong into the thick tree trunk, intending to knock it down.

"Odogaron, jump down!"

The Odogaron on Rathalos's back immediately obeyed the command, jumped off its back, and then used its sharp claws to grip the tree trunk, digging deep into the trunk and clinging firmly to the vertical trunk, letting out a ferocious roar at Rathalos.

"Awoo?!" The Thunder Wolf Dragon showed wariness towards the suddenly appearing Odogaron.
