Ability: Extremely Dire Team (Can summon a Sinooka to assist in battle; under the command of the ability holder, the Sinooka's combat power is slightly increased)
Moves: Paralyzing Venom (Exclusive move, power 20, Electric attribute, special move; spits out venom that paralyzes the opponent; when the paralysis threshold is reached, the opponent is immediately paralyzed and stunned), Surround, Bite, Thunder Fang, etc.
It's clear that the Great Jagras can only unleash its full potential in the Rotten Vale; otherwise, it's just a status ailment attacker.
However, as mentioned before, what Su Yi values is the Great Jagras's ability to control other Jagras, which will make it easier for him to explore the Rotten Vale.
Currently, Su Yi has seven companions and Pokémon. His companions are: Giratina, Skaven, Giratina, and Dewgrass. His Pokémon are: Chansey, Flareon, and Scorbunny.
Apart from the Centipede King, with whom they had no communication whatsoever, all the other members were in combat readiness, making it a full complement of six.
Turn to the "Quests" page. The previous quests about Anjanath, Nargacuga, and Kushala Daora have automatically disappeared because no trace of them was found within three days.
This trip to the Valley of Miasma, and the encounter with the monsters, prompted the cheat code to generate a new investigation report. Opening the report revealed a new quest.
[Mission: Capture the Odogaron]
Mission support: None
Mission Rewards: 8 Superior Orbs, 2 Trap Tools, 3 Target Materials.
Limited time offer: 5 days
Mission: Hunt Bazelgeuse
Mission Support: After initial damage to a part, support will throw 5 flashbangs and 1 paralysis trap.
Quest Rewards: 15 Superior Orbs, 5 Trap Tools, 2 Ancient Elixirs, 3 Target Materials
Limited Time Offer: 10 Days
Su Yi closed his cheat device and sighed, "Only the Odogaron quest has any hope; hunting the Bazelgeuse is out of the question."
The five flashbangs and paralysis traps provided by the mission support were not decisive, let alone if they were used to damage specific parts of the target.
However, this time the mission rewards something new: the materials from the mission objective.
This solves the awkward situation of not being able to extract materials from monsters to craft equipment from Dewgrass after capturing them.
It doesn't matter if Su Yi himself isn't a main force in the battle, but the cat's equipment must be obtained.
Currently, I have tamed the Great Jagras, giving me an additional status ailment weapon. I have also obtained materials from the Wind-Dragon and the Black Diablos horn, which should allow me to craft at least two weapons and a set of Wind-Dragon armor for the Dewgrass.
Although it was far from my original intention to go to the Big Anthill Wasteland, it was still quite fruitful.
Su Yi pondered how to capture the Odogaron, and gradually drifted off to sleep.
In the dark, miasma-filled valley, at an unknown time, Su Yi, inside the cave camp, was awakened by a roar.
Listening carefully at the edge of the camp, Su Yi identified the roar of the Odogaron Dragon. The other sound was the terrifying roar that had been heard many times but never seen.
Su Yi already had a guess about the owner of that roar, and he just needed to find evidence to confirm it.
"Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Su Yi called Lu Cao over, patted the five capture balls on his waist, and cautiously walked out of the camp.
Previously, I would add a gender symbol after the race on the companion pet panel. I only just realized that the symbol could be typed, but it would disappear after saving or publishing. So I changed it to the Chinese characters for male and female.
This has forced me to go back to the previous chapters to add gender information. I'll reiterate here that the genders of several Pokémon were not previously specified.
Great Jagrass (female), Scratcheroo (male), Great Jagrass (male), Dewgrass (male), Chansey (female), Burning Bug (female), Centipede King (male)
Chapter 38 New Police Story
The Valley of Miasma is shrouded in miasma year-round, and the rocks are all a dull gray color. There is nothing particularly beautiful about it, and it really can't compare to the Ancient Forest.
As Su Yi traversed the road strewn with strange rocks and littered with corpses, he remained constantly vigilant about the miasma-filled and dim surroundings.
In my ears, the howling wind carried the lingering echoes of a strange and terrifying roar.
Su Yi, remembering his own history of making his fortune by exploiting the conflict between the snipe and the clam, planned to see if there were any opportunities and perhaps even pick up a bargain.
His team is now considered to be of relatively high quality for Pokémon battles, but it is still far from enough to deal with most monsters in the Monster Hunter world.
Furthermore, if Su Yi wants to quickly gain a foothold in the Pokémon world, strong strength is essential, and powerful monsters are his shortcut.
Therefore, he needs to seize any opportunity, any chance to increase the power of his companions.
When Su Yi passed by the small valley where he had skinned the Wind Dragon's corpse, he suddenly realized that the flesh and bone fragments that had been shaved off that day had been completely eaten, and there were still messy traces left on the ground.
The guide insects on Su Yi's waist floated and clung to it.
"This mark"
Su Yi squatted on the ground and found the tooth fragment embedded in the scratches.
"That's it, it's that guy, the gluttonous Deviljho!"
Su Yi also found three-pronged beast dragon footprints nearby, which almost confirmed the evidence.
"Alright, Bazelgeuse, Deviljho, the new and old cops are all here. This is a new police story."
On the other side, Lucao seemed to have discovered something as well.
"Su Yi Miao! This scale looks like it belongs to a Odogaron!" Lu Cao picked up a few broken, dark red scales among the bones and rocks.
Upon closer inspection, Su Yi realized it was undoubtedly a Crippledosaur.
"Traces of a Deviljho, fragments of a Odogaron's scales—did they clash?"
Su Yi thought for a moment about the fearless nature of the Odogaron, which even dared to pounce on and bite Elder Dragons. It was indeed something it was capable of doing to go head-to-head with the Deviljho.
Roar!
Howl!
A terrible roar came with the north wind through the valley.
"Let's go!" Su Yi immediately called Lu Cao to follow the sound.
To everyone's surprise, the sounds of battle stopped shortly afterward. Su Yi, who had been tracking them all the way, couldn't help but worry that the Odogaron might have been killed.
I was even thinking of subduing it.
Without any sound guidance, one can only rely on the intermittent guidance of the guide insects to follow the trail.
As the miasma around them thickened, Su Yi once again stepped into a small valley filled with piles of corpses.
The valley was completely silent at this moment, with no noise from insects, ferocious jaw dragons, or pterosaurs, only the crunching sound of Su Yi stepping on the dry bones and rotting flesh.
Boom!
Suddenly, a muffled thud echoed from above the valley.
Su Yi suddenly looked up at the surrounding rock walls.
Boom!
Su Yi suddenly turned his head, locked onto the location, and saw several pebbles flying down from a broken wall.
call!
A dark red figure was suddenly sent flying backward, crashing with a thud onto a pile of corpses some distance away from Su Yi.
"It's a Crippled Dragon Cat!" Lucao exclaimed in surprise.
Su Yi looked closely and saw that the Odogaron had been torn open on its waist and abdomen, with deep wounds that exposed the bone. The dark red muscles were inlaid with white fangs. It was lying on the ground, barely alive, its claws twitching weakly. It looked like it was about to die.
Roar!
The deafening roar made Su Yi look up again.
On the precipice, a huge, dark green Tyrannosaurus Rex gazed down with its golden dragon eyes, like a predator at the top of the food chain staring at its weak prey.
"A generous gift of crabs," Su Yi murmured.
Thump! The monster, over twenty meters long, leaped down and landed with a thud, shaking the valley and sending countless skeletons flying.
Boom, boom, boom.
The Deviljho slowly approached with heavy steps. Su Yi retreated step by step to the heart-stirring drumbeats. Dew Grass clung to Su Yi's side, its fur standing on end as it retreated.
Can you imagine?
A huge creature, less than twenty meters away, can rush up in two or three steps and bite you. You're not even as tall as its calf. It can swallow you whole and then chew you up like a thin, crisp biscuit.
In the eyes of the Deviljho, Su Yi was just a snack, not even worth chewing a few times.
Su Yi immediately raised the projectile, which was already loaded with flashbangs, and aimed it at the ferocious head of the Deviljho.
The moment the switch was flipped.
Awooo!
Behind Su Yi, a high-pitched roar resounded, giant wings flapped, and miasma swept in.
The Deviljho immediately raised its eyes and looked behind Su Yi.
"Whoa!" Su Yi turned his head and saw the scaly dragon's massive, sky-covering figure slowly descending onto the road behind him.
Finally, the two police officers, one new and one veteran, met here.
Boom!
Bazelgeuse crashed down, blocking Su Yi's only escape route. Directly in front was Deviljho, and behind was Bazelgeuse. For a moment, Su Yi and Lu Cao were sandwiched between the two policemen.
Howl!
The Deviljho immediately turned its attention to the Bazelgeuse, which was of the same size, and the Bazelgeuse roared back in response.
Aww!
Su Yi and Lu Cao were caught in the middle, gritting their teeth and covering their ears tightly.
"Aibo, use your size advantage to find an opportunity to escape. I'll be ready to interfere with them at any time." Su Yi adjusted the projector, his muscles tense, ready to act at any moment.
The signal to start the war was Bazelgeuse's charge.
The Bazelgeuse spread its wings and charged towards the Deviljho.
Su Yi and Lu Cao immediately swooped to one side, their giant wings sweeping over their heads and the air currents engulfing their bodies.
The Deviljho was not to be outdone. It arched its body and opened its sharp-toothed maw to bite at the Bazelgeuse's neck.
Boom!
Bazelgeuse slammed into Deviljho, which quickly regained its balance by stomping its feet before biting down on Bazelgeuse's neck.
