"Dumbledore, has something happened?" Seeing Dumbledore's worried expression, the portraits of past headmasters in the headmaster's room couldn't help but ask.

Dumbledore shook his head, not answering their questions, but simply muttering to himself, "I hope you're right!"

Chapter 17: Slytherins are all scum, except for Jerry.

"Jerry, Hermione, where did you two go after class? I haven't seen you anywhere."

Harry watched as the two men, each carrying several books, walked towards him and Ron, and asked curiously.

"We went to the library to read books."

Upon hearing this, Ron retorted, "The Sorting Hat must be the problem. You two should go to Ravenclaw."

……

After dinner, Jerry declined Hermione's invitation to go to the library to do his homework and returned to the Slytherin common room.

As soon as he entered the lounge, he was met with hostile stares and whispers. Before Jerry could even enter his dormitory, two upperclassmen approached him with disdainful looks.

"Kid, were you the one who injured Philip and the others last night?"

Jerry answered, "No."

Upon hearing the answer, the older student who had asked Jerry the question said to his classmate, "See, I told you it couldn't have been that lowly mud-blood. He's only a first-grader, how could he... Ouch~"

Before he could finish speaking, Jerry kicked him in the groin. The chicken hadn't even flown yet, but the egg was definitely broken. Hopefully, the school clinic can save his offspring.

When the other man saw his companion lying on the ground, clutching his groin and howling in pain, he immediately pulled out his wand and aimed it at Jerry, but Jerry was faster.

"Except your weapons!"

"Shattered to pieces!"

Jerry's two spells rendered him incapable of resistance, and he and his companions lay on the ground howling in pain.

Seeing Jerry's decisiveness and ruthlessness, the other upperclassmen in the Slytherin circle didn't step forward to help. They weren't stupid; being defeated by a first-year student was already a huge disgrace to the family.

In Slytherin, there are many ways to cause trouble for a Muggle-born student; challenging Jerry to a duel is something only a fool would do.

"What are you all doing standing here?" A cold voice came from behind the crowd. The Slytherins knew that their headmaster had arrived, so they made way for him and prepared to watch the show.

Reaching the front of the crowd, and seeing Jerry with a wand in his right hand and the two older students lying on the ground, he yelled at Jerry, "Jerry Green, you..."

When Jerry saw Snape arrive, before he could even finish speaking, he immediately put away his wand, put on a weak, pitiful, and helpless look, and said in a voice that was about to cry, "Professor Snape, you've finally come! They called me a lowly Mudblood and tried to attack me."

"Professor, is Mudblood a bad thing? What does it mean, Professor Snape? Do you understand?"

When Jerry spoke, he deliberately emphasized the words "Mudblood," which visibly increased Snape's anger, and his eyes glared fiercely at the two people lying on the ground.

"What are you bunch of idiots doing standing here? Hurry up and take these two even more useless idiots to the infirmary. Jerry, come with me to the office."

The other Slytherin students around them were a little confused. Why was the professor scolding them? But seeing Snape's furious appearance, they didn't dare to say anything and carried the two wounded away.

When Jerry heard Snape's almost hoarse roar, he knew those two were doomed.

By taking advantage of Snape's hatred of the word "Mudblood," I can teach those two idiots a lesson while also disgusting Snape once more. Heh heh heh, I'm so wicked!

With a loud bang, Snape slammed the office door shut, his eyes cold as he looked at Jerry: "Mr. Green, it's been less than two days since you enrolled, and five people have already been admitted to the school infirmary. You're quite something!"

In response to Snape's sarcastic remarks, Jerry said, "Professor, I'm still a child! Do you know how hurtful the word 'Mudblood' is to a child who is only eleven years old and not yet twelve?"

“Shut up, Jerry Green, you idiot, stop looking so pathetic…”

After he finished cursing, Snape stared at Jerry with a cold look in his eyes.

Jerry felt as if he were being watched by a venomous snake in the dark. Although he was very uncomfortable, he didn't say anything to provoke Snape.

These two incidents have already offended him too badly. Jerry still has Potions class to go, and he's afraid that if he offends him again, he really won't be able to leave the Potions classroom alive.

“Listen, Mr. Green, in light of the harm you have done to the two students, you are hereby given a period of confinement. Go help Mrs. Pince clean the library this weekend evening, and remember, no magic allowed.”

Upon hearing Snape's words, Jerry immediately became alert. No one knew that he was going to steal books from the forbidden section, but Dumbledore must know about the Sorting Hat. What did it mean to send him to clean the library at this time? Was he trying to test him?

Seeing Snape's sinister smile, Jerry reluctantly agreed and decided to cancel his plan to sneak into the forbidden library that night. If he got caught, the old bat would definitely be the first person to ask for his dismissal.

……

The next morning, Jerry didn't know why the news had spread so quickly. Now almost the entire Hogwarts knew about what had happened the night before, that he had sent two Slytherin seniors to the infirmary, and that on his way to the Great Hall, several students from other houses greeted him warmly, saying he had done a great job!

Jerry truly hadn't expected that the Slytherin bastards had such a terrible relationship with the other houses.

"Jerry, you got into a fight with the older students, are you alright?"

As soon as Jerry arrived at the Great Hall, Hermione and Harry came to greet him.

Hermione was the first to speak, asking if he was injured. After Jerry said no, the group went to the Gryffindor table and started talking about what happened last night.

“Jerry, you did the right thing. Those arrogant guys deserved to be taught a lesson.” Jerry’s words made Ron feel excited, and he wished he could go up and punch them.

Neville chimed in, "Jerry, be careful. My grandma says Slytherins aren't all good people."

Hermione replied somewhat angrily, "Indeed, those Slytherin students act so high and mighty, they don't seem like cultured people at all. They even dared to call Jerry a Mudblood. Slytherins are all scum, except for Jerry."

“Jerry, you need to be careful of your Headmaster Snape. Last time during the Sorting Ceremony, seeing him made my scar feel like it was on fire,” Harry said to Jerry, touching the scar on his head.

"Don't worry, Harry, I assure you, Professor Snape is a good man. He might even help you if you have any trouble. Of course, you'll have to put up with his sharp tongue."

Harry thought Jerry must be joking with him. How could Snape possibly help him? Every time he saw Snape, he felt like Snape was going to kick him out of school.

Seeing that Harry didn't believe him, Jerry stopped talking and started eating the pumpkin pie in front of him.

"Dear Mr. Green, may I speak with you privately for a moment?"

Jerry turned around and saw a senior Slytherin student. Curious, he asked, "Who are you? What do you need me for?"

"Let me introduce myself. I am Trevor Shackler. Mr. Green, you can just call me Trevor. We're here to get to know you and also to discuss some things with you. Don't worry, Mr. Green, it won't interfere with your class."

Chapter 18 Mysterious Senior

Jerry looked at Trevor and wondered who had come to him with such humility. As far as he knew, the Shakels were not some small family; they were one of the Twenty-Eight Sacred Clans.

"Can you tell me who contacted me?"

Trevor didn't answer Jerry's question directly, but said, "Don't worry, sir, we mean you no harm. And the location is in the Slytherin common room. Of course, if you're not comfortable with that, you can choose the time and place yourself."

Hearing Trevor's words, Jerry became even more curious and decided to go and see who this person was.

Before leaving, Jerry was still a little worried and told Hermione that if he didn't arrive before class, he should immediately notify the professor and say that he had been kidnapped by a group of upperclassmen Slytherin.

……

"Thump, thump, thump~"

Jerry followed Trevor Shackleton to the Slytherin common room and into a small room next door.

After a knock on the door, Trevor bowed and said into the room, "Miss Catherine, Mr. Green has arrived."

"Come in." A cold voice came from inside the door.

Upon hearing this, Trevor gently pushed open the door, waved for Jerry to enter, and then closed the door.

After Jerry entered alone, he scanned the room and found it to be a lounge of about ten square meters. Besides him, the only other person in the room was a young woman sitting on the sofa in the middle, who should be the Catherine that Trevor had mentioned.

Jerry looked at the woman named Catherine with some curiosity. She was wearing a white dress, simple yet elegant, which perfectly accentuated her figure. Her hands were long and slender, and her graceful movements exuded composure and nobility. She had a cold and mysterious aura.

Her blonde hair was as soft as molten gold, her face was exquisitely sculpted, her eyes were a deep blue, serene and mysterious, her nose was high and elegant, her red lips were bright and alluring, and her voice was clear and cold with a hint of warmth, like a queen who had emerged from the cold winter, making people both want to approach her and respect her.

"This is a private lounge?" Jerry was somewhat surprised; he didn't know Slytherin had such a place.

"Welcome, Mr. Green. You may call me Catherine."

Catherine came to Jerry, knelt down on one knee, took his hand, and kissed it. Jerry was stunned for a moment, and after realizing what was happening, he quickly pulled his hand back and hurriedly took two steps back.

Having lived two lives, he had never encountered such a situation before. Looking at Catherine, who was still kneeling on one knee, he asked somewhat flusteredly, "Who are you? What do you want with me?"

“I am Katherine Ferris, a fourth-year Slytherin student.”

"You should stand up first." Looking at Catherine's burning gaze, Jerry asked, "What do you want from me?"

Catherine stood up and smiled sweetly at Jerry, saying, "Mr. Green, let's sit down and talk."

The two sat down on the sofa in the middle of the lounge. Catherine said, "Mr. Green, there's nothing important about inviting you here. I just wanted to get to know you so you can come to me anytime you need anything at Hogwarts."

Faced with Catherine's sudden and enthusiastic gaze, Jerry felt somewhat uneasy; he didn't believe in any free lunches.

"Miss Ferres, it seems like this is our first time meeting, isn't it?"

In response to Jerry's questioning, Catherine said, "But we're the same kind of people, aren't we? We're destined to be partners, Jerry. There's no need to question it. Just say it, and this lounge, including everything in it, is yours. From now on, this is your private lounge."

Before Jerry could even object, she suddenly leaned in, grabbed his hand, and said, "Jerry, tell me your stories from the past, like your birthday, or what happened when you were little?"

“Hey, Miss Ferres, I don’t think we’re that close yet, and I don’t think we’ll become friends. I have to go to class now, goodbye, Miss Ferres.” With that, Jerry stood up and quickly left the room.

Jerry didn't see this as a haven of comfort; he saw it as a beautiful snake lusting after him.

Watching Jerry leave, Catherine didn't stop him, but simply bowed and saw him off.

After Jerry left, Trevor knocked and entered. After bowing respectfully, he stood to the side and asked, "Miss Catherine, is it confirmed?"

In response to Trevor's question, Catherine shook her head and said, "Not yet, but when I grabbed his hand, I felt his magical energy fluctuations. It was very similar, extremely similar. Did you find out Jerry Green's birth date when you investigated it?"

"Not yet, Dumbledore is keeping it a secret."

"Hmph, they're all trash."

Trevor immediately knelt down upon hearing Catherine's angry words.

"Get out of here and tell your family to hurry up."

Trevor wiped the cold sweat from his brow and hurriedly ran out.

Catherine was left alone in the room again. She took out a ring engraved with a mysterious symbol, put it on her ring finger, gently touched the mark, and muttered to herself in a trance, "Jerry, we will be companions. No one can stop your return, not even Dumbledore or Grindelwald."

……

Back in the classroom, Jerry couldn't concentrate on the lesson at all. He kept thinking about what had just happened. He couldn't believe that just because there were two fights and a few people were injured, someone would come and act as his lackey.

There's something wrong with my own background. I used to think it was just a coincidence, but now the more I think about it, the more suspicious it seems. Dumbledore didn't even pick up Harry himself, so how could he possibly come to pick me up for school? He must know about my background. I must find a way to ask him next time I see him.
