But the guardian's power was too great, and the Dementors were no match for it. As if they had encountered their natural enemy, they fled into the darkness.

"Whoo~"

After taking a deep breath, Jerry clearly felt the surrounding temperature gradually rise, which slowly put his mind at ease.

After seeing that things had calmed down outside, Hermione opened the corridor door, ran over with red eyes, and hugged Jerry tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks and onto Jerry's shoulder.

At this moment, her heart was filled with gratitude and release, grateful for Jerry's courage and fearlessness, and also releasing the fear and worry she had just felt.

Jerry stroked Hermione's hair and gently patted her back, comforting her, "Alright, Hermione, don't cry. We need to hurry and check the other workshops to see if any other Dementors have appeared."

After hearing Jerry's words, Hermione wiped away her tears, looked up at Jerry, and was momentarily stunned before asking, "Jerry, what happened to your eyes? They're...so scary."

Upon hearing Hermione's words, Jerry realized that this was a change after his Patronus Charm was upgraded, but it wasn't a change in Jerry's Patronus, but a change in himself.

Each time Jerry casts the upgraded Guardian Charm, his right eye turns blood red, just like the eyes of the Raven Guardian.

In this state, his perception and control over magic were greatly enhanced.

This change endowed Jerry with a sharper combat instinct and more precise control over spells.

After retrieving his guardian spirit, Jerry asked, "Now? Is it still red?"

After hearing Jerry's words, Hermione stared at his right eye carefully, then shook her head and said, "The red is gone, and his eye is back to its normal color!"

"Jerry, why are your eyes like that?"

"Is it ugly?"

"No, it's just that it looks a little unsettling!"

Upon hearing Hermione's words, Jerry explained, "It's because of the Patronus Charm. You just saw my Patronus, didn't it look a lot like its eyes?"

Hermione nodded and said, "It really does look like it, but Jerry, are you sure you're okay? I don't think I've ever heard of a wizarding society..."

"This, perhaps, is talent!"

……

Jerry led Hermione out of their carriage and headed in the direction the Dementors had come from.

"Jerry, help! We've been attacked by a terrifying monster!"

As soon as Jerry opened the carriage door, he heard Malfoy's cries for help.

The two ran over and saw a mess everywhere. Goyle lay on the ground with his eyes vacant, while Malfoy and Crabbe knelt beside him with tears streaming down their faces. Several Slytherin girls were also crying around them.

Jerry quickly checked on Goyle; he was still alive, probably because the Dementor had bitten him.

Seeing Malfoy's disheveled appearance, Jerry said, "Don't worry! Goyle's fine! Does anyone have any candy or chocolate? Give him some."

Upon hearing Jerry's words, Malfoy's tense nerves finally relaxed, and he slumped to the ground.

Crabbe found a piece of chocolate nearby and handed it to Gore.

Gore took the chocolate and slowly took a bite.

As the taste of chocolate spread in his mouth, his complexion gradually regained some color, and his empty eyes slowly regained focus.

Crabbe breathed a sigh of relief; he knew that Goyle's condition was gradually improving.

"Malfoy, do you know why Dementors are in the Hogwarts students' carriages?"

Upon hearing Jerry's words, Malfoy finally realized what was happening: "Jerry, you're saying that the monsters that just attacked us were Dementors? How is that possible? Aren't they in Azkaban?"

Jerry looked at him with surprise and said, "Aren't you a pureblood? How come you don't even recognize a Dementor? Did a Dementor just kiss Goyle?"

Malfoy swallowed hard, nodded, and then, with a sob in his voice, grabbed Jerry's sleeve and said, "What do we do, Jerry? The Dementors are outside! We're doomed!"

Upon hearing Malfoy's words, the other students around him couldn't help but burst into tears again.

"Shut up, all of you! Be quiet! I've chased the Dementors away!"

"What, isn't it normal for a first-year Hogwarts student like me to know the Patronus Charm?"

Malfoy: "..."

Everyone: "..."

Seeing the stunned crowd, Jerry asked, "Malfoy, have you notified the school or the Ministry of Magic?"

Upon hearing Jerry's question, Malfoy snapped out of his daze and said, "I just used Pansy's owl to notify him, but I notified my dad!"

"Those damned Ministry of Magic officials, I'm going to tell my father to send them all to Azkaban to keep those damned Dementors company!"

Chapter 45 Guardian Angel Spell? It's not as simple as just having hands.

Jerry ignored Malfoy's roar and instead turned and left the carriage with Hermione.

The two moved between the carriages, checking to see if any other students were injured.

Fortunately, no students lost their lives in the disaster.

However, a few unfortunate souls, like Goyle, were bitten by the Dementors. Jerry examined them closely; while not seriously injured, most were severely frightened.

Their faces were filled with fear and dread, and some couldn't even hold back their tears. A sense of panic permeated the carriage; everyone tried their best to remain calm, but their hearts were filled with unease.

Seeing the chaos inside the carriage, Jerry could only helplessly ask Hermione for help, hoping she could calm the frightened students.

Jerry isn't good at this kind of thing; calming people down isn't his forte, while Hermione is clearly much better at it.

Hermione communicated with the students gently and rationally, comforting them in a calm tone and guiding them out of their fear.

Looking at the calm and collected Hermione, Jerry couldn't help but admire her as the future Minister of Magic.

With Hermione's help, the students gradually calmed down. Their emotions subsided, and the atmosphere in the carriage gradually became peaceful.

Jerry stood at the carriage door, frowning as he pondered the events of the day.

Why are Dementors in the Hogwarts carriages? Did Sirius Black escape?

But upon closer reflection, something still felt off. If someone had truly escaped from Azkaban, the Ministry of Magic and the Daily Prophet would have been aware of it.

Most importantly, the Dementors are behaving unusually strangely today.

Typically, the appearance of Dementors causes great panic and chaos because they can cause serious harm to people.

Strangely, Jerry had just checked all the students who had been attacked, and they had only been given a shallow sip; some students had even only felt a slight discomfort.

This made Jerry suspect that it might have another purpose.

"Jerry, we need to get back to our own carriages too!"

Jerry, who was lost in thought, was interrupted by Hermione's words. Looking at the now calm carriage in front of him, he slowly nodded, then turned and left.

Just as Jerry and Hermione were about to leave and return to their own carriage, Malfoy suddenly ran over.

"Jerry, the Aurors and Headmaster Dumbledore from the Ministry of Magic are here! They sent me to see you; they have something to ask you!"

Upon hearing Malfoy's words, Jerry and Hermione exchanged a glance, nodded in agreement, and followed Malfoy into their carriage.

Upon arriving at Malfoy's carriage, they found that quite a few people were already standing inside. Besides those Dumbledore recognized, there was a middle-aged man with the same hair color as Malfoy, who must be Lucius Malfoy.

Good evening, Headmaster Dumbledore!

Jerry and Hermione greeted Dumbledore and then stood beside him.

Dumbledore smiled and introduced them to everyone: "These are Jerry Green and Hermione Granger, both first-year students at Hogwarts!"

Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, everyone's attention turned to Jerry and Hermione.

A Ministry of Magic official standing nearby, dressed in a pinstripe suit and a bright red tie, looking shrewd, said, "Dumbledore, are you sure it's them?"

“Excuse me, gentlemen, I am Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic. It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just that you are both too young.”

“Cornell, while it’s a bit unbelievable that the first-year students would use the Patronus Charm, there are always some exceptionally talented people, aren’t there?”

After saying that, Dumbledore turned to Jerry and continued, "Jerry, have the Auror next to you check your wand."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, Jerry handed his yew wand to the old black Auror beside him.

A moment later, the old black man who had just been examining the wand nodded to Cornelius Fudge as if he had seen a ghost.

Seeing this, everyone around, except for Dumbledore and Hermione who already knew, gasped in unison.

This child is terrifyingly powerful!

Cornelius Fudge looked at Jerry in shock and said, "OMG! Mr. Green, I am deeply sorry. My attitude was somewhat rude just now. I sincerely apologize to you and express my deepest gratitude."

"With your fearless courage and formidable strength, you successfully saved a busload of students. Your heroic act is worthy of being awarded the Order of Merlin, Third Class!"

Upon hearing Cornelius Fudge's words, Jerry looked at Dumbledore with a puzzled expression and asked him for help.

Jerry didn't know much about the Order of Merlin; he only remembered that in the original books, besides Dumbledore, only Lockhart, that dubious fellow, had received it.

When Dumbledore saw Jerry looking at him, he smiled and nodded slightly.

After Dumbledore nodded, Jerry said to Cornelius Fudge, "Thank you very much, Minister Fudge!"

"Alright, Jerry, you and Hermione go with Kingsley to the carriage over there. The Aurors have some questions for you."

After hearing Dumbledore's words, Jerry nodded and followed the old black man named Kingsley to another carriage.

As soon as Hermione stepped out of the carriage, she excitedly told Jerry, "Oh my god! Jerry, you're going to get the Order of Merlin! That's amazing! You'll definitely be the youngest person to ever receive the Order of Merlin!"

Jerry didn't care, after all, it was just a third-class medal. He was more interested in Kingsley in front of him than the medal.

Jerry remembered that Kingsley was not only an Auror, but also a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and most importantly, his last name was Shackleton.

"Sir, are you a member of the Shakel family?"

Kingsley Shackles, somewhat surprised by Jerry's words, asked, "How did you know? Did Headmaster Dumbledore tell you?"

Jerry shook his head and said, "I'm a Slytherin student and I know Trevor Shackleton. We're not the same age, but strangely enough, Trevor often comes to see me. I feel like Trevor is very mysterious. Do you know much about him, sir?"

"Although we are from the same family, we are not very familiar with each other. The Shakel family is not as extreme as other pure-blood families, but there is still a gap between mixed-bloods and pure-bloods. Most pure-bloods and mixed-bloods are just acquaintances, but they don't have any real relationship."

After hearing Kingsley Shackles' words, Jerry nodded and didn't ask any more questions.

Jerry has achieved his goal. Kingsley Shackleton is a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and Dumbledore has also been plotting against him. Dumbledore will definitely ask about his conversation with Kingsley today.

I wonder if these two groups who have designs on me will end up fighting! I'm really looking forward to it!
