“I will cast a spell on Mr. Number 3. You will wake up in a few minutes. You will definitely contact Zheng Lun then. I also have something to tell him.”

Amanosaki bared his two rows of white teeth and enunciated clearly: "I'll say it, Miss Lin Shuyu is my girlfriend, Amanosaki's girlfriend. He kidnapped my girlfriend, and I'm going to come to his door to demand an explanation."

Threat, naked threat.

But number 3 simply couldn't disobey.

Senior military commanders and their staffs contain a great deal of military secrets, and the commanders' own safety must be guaranteed.

Amanosaki declares he's looking for Zheng Lun, still because of a love affair—a complicated relationship between a valiant swordsman and a proud military officer with power…

So the first thing Number 3 did after waking up was to exaggerate the seriousness of the situation and try to distance himself from it.

'After all, my brothers and I have suffered these undeserved misfortunes because of you!'

Lying in a pool of blood mixed with demon blood and rain, Number 3 let out a powerless sigh.

Lin Shuyu was completely bewildered.

Are you here for a blind date?

You had me forced to come here, then dumped a bunch of work on me. Did you come here for a blind date?!

I thought you had your eye on me and were planning to steal me away by force!

Did you think I was here for a blind date too?

Can't you at least use some skill when you go on a blind date?

"boom!"

Lin Shuyu was furious. Not to be outdone, she flung her hand and knocked away the glass fan that was open and reflecting light, shattering it into pieces even more than a teapot.

"When did I ever say I was on a blind date? My parents, grandparents, great-uncle, and other relatives have never called or texted me to tell me about this blind date!"

She took a step forward, her pretty face flushed with excitement, like a blushing ball of fat, cute and alluring, making one want to take a bite:

"From beginning to end, this blind date was entirely one-sided on your part, Major General!"

After being yelled at, Zheng Lun finally came to his senses.

He then remembered that when he agreed to the blind date, his parents had sent people to prepare the necessary documents and contact the Lin family in Yushan. They were planning to ask someone from the Lin family in the capital to act as a matchmaker.

He had been assigned to a mission at the last minute, and while checking the mission details on the plane, he coincidentally discovered that Lin Shuyu and he were both at the Hongdu branch, which prompted him to ask his father to quickly bring the things with him.

Because his heart was fluttering with first love, he spent half a day clearing up his affairs after getting off the plane and then went to find Lin Shuyu.

In other words, it was truly just wishful thinking on his part.

Zheng Lun saw that even when Lin Shuyu was angry and acting up, she only smashed a glass fan and didn't break things around. Seeing that she remained gentle and graceful despite her anger, unlike other girls who were domineering, Zheng Lun was even more satisfied. He thought to himself that this girl really suited his taste.

Having already decided in his heart that Lin Shuyu was the one he loved, his attitude was no longer as cold as before. He tried his best to soften his facial muscles and forced a smile, saying, "It's my fault..."

"And one more thing."

Lin Shuyu showed him no respect whatsoever.

In fact, Lin Shuyu had the right to refuse any transfers from the military from the very beginning—her organization was based in the Yushan branch and only needed to obey the arrangements of Qunxia Mountain. Even if the military and officials in the capital wanted to borrow people, they had to go through the channels of Qunxia Mountain.

This is called legitimacy.

She stayed in the previous command post to help out of consideration for the people and the government, as well as at Amanosaki's request. Zheng Lun's coercion was completely without any administrative or military orders or permission.

Under normal circumstances, not having permission isn't a big deal. The need to borrow people exists everywhere; sometimes it's a branch office borrowing police officers from the government, sometimes it's borrowing soldiers and equipment from the army, and sometimes it's the other way around.

This includes considerations of personal relationships, maintaining unity among local forces, and acting expediently in urgent situations.

But that doesn't mean it's correct or the norm.

As the saying goes, some things are nothing on the scale, but weigh a ton on the scale.

If Lin Shuyu insists that Zheng Lun's actions were not voluntary, it could be argued that the military illegally detained employees of Qunxia Mountain, forcing or even enslaving them to serve.

Given that Lin Shuyu is a woman and he was pursuing her, this adds another layer of possibility to the possibility of indecent assault and rape.

Therefore, when Lin Shuyu learned that Zheng Lun was there for a blind date and had even clashed with the army, she completely turned against him.

"I, Lin Shuyu, have a boyfriend. Everyone in the Yushan branch, the entire expedition team, the Hongdu branch, and other branches knows this! What do you mean by dragging me here for a blind date? Are you trying to kidnap a woman and force her into marriage?!"

"I'm warning you, this is a civilized society, not the feudal landlord era! Human trafficking, illegally detaining employees of Qunxia Mountain, and putting personal feelings above official duties—each of these offenses is enough to land you in a military court!"

"enough!"

Zheng Lun finally couldn't hold back any longer. He kicked over the low table and strode over to Lin Shuyu like a tank, looking down at the girl.

Lin Shuyu was blocked by Zheng Lun's shadow, as if she were in a dark place.

He grabbed Lin Shuyu's wrists with one hand, squeezing them tightly, and led the staggering Lin Shuyu out the door.

The guards saw the major general's pincer-like hand gripping the frail woman's wrist tightly, and a hint of pity appeared in their eyes.

Zheng Lun opened the door to the break room next to the office, shoved Lin Shuyu inside, snatched her phone and earphones, his eyes blazing with anger, and said coldly:

"Once I've dealt with that sissy Amanosaki and he's kneeling on my head, you'll understand what a real man is!"

After saying that, he locked the door and ordered the guard, "No one is allowed to enter this door without my permission!"

"Yes!"

Lin Shuyu silently rubbed her numb hands in the lounge, feeling extremely angry and utterly hopeless about this man.

He had no understanding of love or society, and actually thought that he could win a woman's heart by showing his strength through fighting like a wild beast.

We live in the information age, not a wild jungle.

Zheng Lun, standing outside the door, didn't seem to notice anything amiss. He casually tossed his cloak aside and strode towards the staff headquarters, his fingers unconsciously fidgeting, his mind filled with the sensation of grabbing Lin Shuyu earlier.

As Zheng Lun pushed her through the door, he noticed that Lin Shuyu's wrist was already red and swollen.

'His hands are so soft, like jelly.'

As Zheng Lun thought this, two streams of excited heat shot out of his nostrils.

Chapter 203: Gun in hand, follow me!

The bus drove recklessly, but in the hands of the knight-errant, this civilian vehicle was driven with the aura of a military troop carrier with green hard skin.

About twenty minutes later, the group arrived near the coordinates provided by Amanosaki and was stopped at a checkpoint at the entrance to the mountain road.

Despite the low visibility due to the heavy rain, the bus was able to travel so fast, but the cost was that the exterior of the bus was completely damaged, riddled with potholes, the front bumper and headlights were broken, and one of the rearview mirrors was missing.

The reporters who got out of the car trembled, many of them vomited on the spot, and the rest were pale as death, staring at the black smoke billowing from the car engine with lingering fear.

They swore they would never ride in a car driven by a knight-errant again!

Military vehicles may be fast, but they are technologically advanced and safe!

These heroes drive recklessly!

They had previously seen the driver, a chivalrous fellow, complain that the car was going too slowly, so he pulled out a bottle of Erguotou (a type of Chinese liquor) from his pocket and started drinking while driving!

The other heroes seemed completely unfazed, showing no awareness of the dangers of drunk driving!

The heroes, completely oblivious to the situation, greeted the reporters with smiles, repeatedly saying things like, "Please remember to take good pictures of me," and "Could you please give me a brief introduction, just one page?"

Meanwhile, Amano Saki, with Lin Shuyu by his side, stood in front of the checkpoint blocking the bus, waiting for the soldiers inside to finish their phone calls.

A short while later, the soldier came running out, ignoring the torrential rain, squinting and trying to make out the crowd in the darkness by the faint light from the searchlight:

Who is Amanosaki?

"I am, so what?"

The soldier pointed into the guard post: "You can go in."

Li Junzi, squatting on the ground beside him, chewing on licorice roots he had picked from the wild, his mouth full of yellow mud, exclaimed, "Hey!" and asked, "What about me?"

The soldier looked at Li Junzi, who was huddled on the ground, a huge shadow, and felt a chill for no reason: "The order is that only Amanosaki is allowed to go in."

"Um, how so?"

As Li Junzi looked up, two beams of light shot from his eyes in the darkness, startling the soldiers.

Although his face and even his whole body were soaked with rainwater, and his boots were also damp, he still felt his mouth go dry and he couldn't speak when those eyes stared at him, and he felt scared.

Those aren't human eyes at all; they're clearly a pair of enormous cat pupils!

Amanosaki walked over slowly, his voice carrying a hint of indifference: "What else can I say... take them all down!"

In the blink of an eye, the soldier saw dozens of long, human-shaped tracks splattered across the rain, intertwined like a disgusting mass of enormous worms with countless bodies.

Then he fainted.

Amanosaki dodged a bullet aimed at him by tilting his head, and the soldier sniping him was instantly taken down by Hinata Hyuga.

Sporadic gunshots rang out from the sparse grass near the sentry post, followed by a rustling sound as the knights dragged the soldiers out.

Hinata Hyuga also came out with them.

Hinata, who was originally following Amanosaki, smiled at Hinata, who was dragging soldiers, and disappeared into a puff of smoke with a 'bang' amidst the curious gazes of the crowd.

Ninjutsu: Clone Technique

When Hinata got off the bus, she used the bus as a cover to create a clone jutsu, sending the clone to follow Amanosaki. She then used her ninja skills to take care of the soldiers hiding in the bushes on one side by herself.

Seeing that there were no more obstacles at the checkpoint, Amanosaki casually told everyone to "borrow" a few military vehicles and motorcycles from the checkpoint, and the group sped along the road toward the camp on the cliff.

The soldiers were left lying unconscious on the ground, while reporters stood by, cameras in hand, staring at each other in disbelief.

-------------------------------------

"The outpost has lost contact."

In the staff headquarters, the staff officers, following Zheng Lun's instructions, ordered all troops in the camp to remain on standby while maintaining contact with various outposts and camps.

Thirty seconds after Amanosaki and his group borrowed the car, the checkpoint they had 'occupied' went silent in the communication network because no one was operating it.

As a result, the entire Third Army Group knew that someone had broken into the camp.

"Mobilize tanks and regular troops?"

An advisor, stroking his chin, offered a suggestion.

Sitting at the table, Zheng Lun chuckled at the suggestion. He put down the cigarette from his finger and looked at the advisor who had made the suggestion:

"You mean, in the entire Third Army Group headquarters, there are six hundred Wu Zu on standby. Just to suppress the Xia Ke rather than exterminate them, you need to deploy tanks and artillery, as well as a huge amount of manpower? Their numbers are only a little over one hundred, and nearly a third of them are just registered Xia Ke."
