Mystery: A Spark

"What's the problem?" Klein paused in his rubbing of his eyes.
"The problem is that after that little wolf cub used its dream-entering ability to put you to sleep, its body also disappeared at the same time."
“Now that you’re awake, the wolf cubs haven’t appeared yet,” Arthur said, shrugging.
"Huh?" Klein was taken aback, then looked around and, sure enough, did not find the shadow of the little black fur ball.
"No, where's my wolf cub?"
"I can't come."
"Tsk, stop with the jokes, just help me find it." Klein said irritably.
“Actually, there’s no need to look,” Arthur said with a smile.
"Why?" Klein was a little confused.
"Because this little guy is probably still in your dream."
Klein was taken aback, and said in confusion:
"But I've already woken up, so where is the dream now?"
Arthur sat down again and explained:
“I once talked to Leonard about dreams, and I learned from him that people dream whether they are asleep or awake.”
"However, when a person is awake, dreams are in a scattered and incomplete state, and cannot contain any identifiable information. But after falling asleep, these scattered dreams may gradually combine to form a dream with various storylines."
Klein suddenly realized and said:
"So, the wolf cub is still in my dream right now, but how do I get it out?"
"That's easy, just take another nap," Arthur said, shrugging.
“But I just woke up, how can I fall asleep right away?” Klein said with some difficulty.
"Can't sleep? That's easy, I can help you," Arthur chuckled.
"How are you going to help?" Klein asked, a wary look on his face.
Arthur rolled up his sleeves, a malicious smile spreading across his face, and said:
"Of course it's... physical hypnosis."
"You're dreaming. I'll do it myself." Klein naturally couldn't let Arthur hypnotize him physically, so he had no choice but to try to fall asleep on his own.
After struggling for a while, he finally managed to fall asleep and then got the seemingly silly little wolf cub out of bed.
"Sigh, this little guy is really something. Once he's in his dream, he doesn't know how to come out," Klein said helplessly, holding the wolf cub.
"This shows that although the little guy is quite capable, he's still not very bright and needs to be properly taught to become a reliable helper," Arthur said with the air of someone who's been there.
Klein glanced at Arthas beside him and suggested, somewhat tempted:
"Why don't you help me teach them? I really have no experience teaching children, let alone teaching wolf cubs."
“No, I don’t have the time for that. But I have a better idea: let Arthas teach this wolf cub. As canines, I think they’ll have a lot in common,” Arthur said, waving his hand.
"I'll teach you?" Arthas was a little taken aback.
“That’s right, what’s wrong, don’t you have confidence?” Arthur reached out and ruffled the puppy’s head.
"Of course not. It's just teaching this little guy. It's a piece of cake for me."
"Don't worry, we'll definitely teach it to be a good student and help it develop morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, and practically. No one knows more about education than me." Arthas squatted down, his two little paws seemingly playing an invisible accordion.
"Hmm... alright then, but you'd better teach it well." Klein thought about it and agreed; it would be more convenient for Arthas to teach it.
After all, one is a wolf cub and the other is a puppy; they are more suitable to be taught by humans than by humans.
However, he felt a little regretful the next second.
Because he saw Arthas grin mischievously, swaying like a scoundrel as he approached the wolf cub, patted it on the shoulder with his paw, and said:
"Little guy, from now on you'll be working for us. Come on, call me 'Big Brother' first."
Seeing this, Klein looked at Arthur with a deep gaze.
His meaning was clear: Is this the kind of puppy you raised? If Arthas raised his pups this way, wouldn't he eventually lead them astray?
Feeling a little embarrassed, Arthur reached out and poked Arthas's head twice, scolding him:
"You're not even fully grown yet, and you're already thinking about being a big brother? Get serious!"
"Oh, I was just teasing it, just kidding," Arthas muttered under his breath.
“No joking around, you know. If you corrupt this little guy, you’ll see how I deal with you.” Arthur flicked Arthas’s ear as a warning.
"I don't know who taught me to be like this. Like father, like son," Arthas muttered almost inaudibly.
"What did you say?" Arthur didn't hear what the puppy was muttering.
"It's nothing. I said I would definitely teach this little wolf cub well," Arthas solemnly assured him.
"That's more like it." Arthur nodded in satisfaction, then seemed to remember something and said, "Speaking of which, this little wolf cub hasn't been named yet, has it? Why don't we give it a name now? We can't just keep calling it 'little wolf cub,' can we?"
"A name... I really can't think of a suitable one right now." Klein stroked his chin, thought for a moment, then shook his head and said.
After all, they are extraordinary pets, so it's impossible to just give them simple, rustic names like "Little Black" or "Big Yellow" like in their previous lives.
That doesn't sound right either.
"How about this? I've thought of a name for you, listen to it and see what you think," Arthur said after thinking for a while, his eyes suddenly lighting up.
"Oh? Tell me about it," Klein said curiously.
"Ahem, what do you think of the name Horus?" Arthur coughed lightly, his expression slightly strange.
Horus? The pharaoh's guardian god in ancient Egyptian mythology, who was on par with the sun god Ra? Sounds pretty good... Klein didn't notice Arthur's expression. After a moment's thought, he thought the name was nice and nodded in agreement.
"Alright, from now on your name will be Horus." Klein picked up the wolf cub and solemnly announced.
"Awoo~" The little wolf cub seemed to understand what he said and let out a happy howl.
"This doesn't feel as impressive as when I named it," Arthas muttered softly.
Arthur's expression turned strange for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure.
He said with a calm expression:
"Well, now that everything's been resolved, I'll head back."
After saying that, he stood up and prepared to leave.
“Thank you for your help this time,” Klein said from behind him.
"Hey, it was nothing," Arthur said, waving his hand.
He walked calmly out of No. 15 Minsk Street, got into the carriage, and then finally couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"What are you laughing at?" Arthas asked curiously as he climbed into the carriage.
"Cough, it's nothing, I just remembered something happy." Arthur wiped away the tears of laughter from the corners of his eyes, without giving Arthas a detailed explanation.
Only he could get the joke, because he couldn't bring himself to explain the Warhammer universe story.
Even the stories he could remember weren't very detailed; he only had a rough outline.
Even so, he still remembered Horus, the famous Warmaster, who was the leader of the twenty-one Primarchs and had a very similar experience to Arthas.
The only slight difference is that Arthas successfully fulfilled his filial duty to his father, then inherited the throne that his father handed over with great emotion, and subsequently unleashed the undead scourge that swept across the entire continent.
Horus's attempt to fulfill his filial duty ultimately failed because his father, the Holy Emperor, refused out of embarrassment.
Of course, it wasn't a complete failure, because he successfully put his father, the Holy Emperor, on the Golden Throne.
This shows what?
This shows that the child is filial.
Because he felt sorry for his father and didn't want the emperor to have to work so hard, he let his father sit on the comfortable golden throne. Isn't this a kind of filial piety?
Because Arthur was full of exaggerated claims, he praised Arthas as an unparalleled and supreme ruler, which resulted in Huang Beibei assigning that name to his dog.
Most importantly, his dog was determined to keep this name and refused to change it to anything else.
Although Arthur didn't mind such things, after all, how could the sword of the World of Warcraft possibly kill the officials of the Mysterious World?
But every time I call the puppy's name, I still feel a little strange.
Now, Arthur finally has a companion.
Arthas and Horus are a match made in heaven.
This is practically double the filial piety.
The concentration of filial piety is almost exceeding the standard.
……
Thursday morning, in a house in the Hillston area of Backland.
Fors huddled on the sofa, holding a small notebook, looking completely dazed.
The notebook in her hand had a copper-green hard cover, giving it a very old feel.
Its surface bears an inscription in Old Fussac:
"I come, I see, I record."
On the low table next to the sofa, there was a small iron box.
From the opening of the small metal box, one can vaguely see that it contains a "diamond" the size of an eye.
A moment later, a small white figure appeared from mid-air and came to Fors's side, saying:
"What's wrong, Fors? Did you call me here for something?"
Fors snapped out of his daze and said in a low voice:
"Not long ago, Anlisa's relatives came to visit her and happened to meet me. I told this old man about Anlisa, and just yesterday, this old man also passed away."
"Before he died, he asked me to deliver his belongings to a gentleman named Dorian Gray in Port Pritz."
Arthas understood. He looked at the notebook in Fors's hand and asked:
"Is this the old gentleman's keepsake?"
