Since Ran Mouri was undergoing a check-up, Inspector Megure went to visit Miwako Sato in her hospital room first.

Higashino Ning went to find Haibara Ai to ask her what she planned to do for the rest of the day.

"You can leave if you want later. Officer Sato doesn't really need your company. Her mother and Yumi will be here soon."
