Detective Conan: Is Miss Haibara planning to assault a police officer again today?

The television broadcasts weren't adult programs, but rather late-night radio programs.

She looked over after hearing the noise at the door.

So, as soon as Higashino Ning entered, he was greeted by a pair of beautiful, icy blue eyes.

"You're back~"

"I am back."

Dongye Ning took off his coat and hung it up, then bent down to change his shoes. "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

Ai Haibara's sweet voice carried a hint of yawning, "Anyway, I don't have to go to school tomorrow, so I'll wait for you."

"But if you come back any later, I think I'll have fallen asleep."

Higashino Ning felt the coolness of her slippers. "I should have come back a little later."

Ai Haibara was speechless for a moment. "What do you want to do while I'm asleep?"

“You’re really too trusting,” Higashino Ning said, sitting down heavily next to the little girl. “You’re always thinking about what I want to get from you, when all I really want is for you to sleep well.”

What does "Puxin" mean?

"Hmm... you're just ordinary yet confident."

"What?! How am I ordinary! Besides, you're the one who wanted me to live with you, okay? I waited for you to come home like this and you still criticize me."

"Thank you." Higashino Ning said earnestly.

Ai Haibara froze, her voice low, "W-why are you suddenly getting so formal again...?"

She was waiting for Higashino Ning's reply.

But Higashino Ning patted her on the back, "Go heat up my bento box for me, oh dear... I don't want to move once I sit down."

Ai Haibara: "......"

The little girl had a lot to say, but in the end she didn't say anything and instead went to help heat up the bento box.

Soon, Higashino Ning rubbed his chopsticks together and said, "I'm starting!"

After taking one bite, he immediately wondered, "Why does it taste so strange?"

Ai Haibara replied expressionlessly, "Because it's been heated many times."

After saying that, she went straight into her room and closed the door.

Higashino Ning pouted, finished his bento in a few bites, and then walked to the door of Haibara Ai's room and gently knocked.

"What?" Ai Haibara's voice was accompanied by the sound of the blanket being pulled off.

Higashino Ning cleared her throat. "I noticed that the house across from Professor Agasa's seems to be unoccupied right now. I wonder if we could get in touch with Shinichi Kudo to discuss renting a place there?"

The little girl's anticipation of putting the blanket on the bed shattered instantly.

Idiot, idiot, idiot!

I'm ignoring you!

Then, the sound of the key being inserted into the lock suddenly appeared.

Ai Haibara sat up as if she'd been electrocuted, clutching the blanket tightly, and stared warily at the doorway.

But the door was only opened a crack, and Higashino Ning reached in and dropped the key.

"I really like my new life. Having someone to accompany me is more than enough."

"Thank you for coming with such trust, and I am very grateful for your heartfelt companionship."

"I believe there will always be better things waiting for us tomorrow."

That's what she thought, but Ai Haibara wasn't sleepy at all; her mind was filled with Higashino Ning's "awful" appearance.

She deliberately breathed rapidly through her nose, then sat up again, got out of bed, and, holding a corner of her pillow, opened the door and walked towards Higashino Ning's room.

In the darkness, the pillow dragged along the ground.

Knock on the door.

"what?"

"I have something to ask you."

"Huh? Okay... I'll open the door. Go ahead, what is it...?"

Higashino Ning's eyes were still half-closed when a pillow attack landed on his face.

Although it's not to the point of the soul leaving the body, one is still confused.

Ai Haibara chuckled triumphantly and pretended to run away.

But how could she outrun Higashino Ning?

Without even chasing her, Higashino Ning simply reached out and pulled the little girl back.

"Assaulting a police officer, is that it?"

She was wrapped up like a spring roll in the blanket by Higashino Ning, and couldn't break free at all.

Ai Haibara took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm going back to sleep. Goodnight."

Higashino Ning nodded. "Then I'll let you out. Don't move around, okay?"

He sat up cross-legged, changed the spring roll from vertical to horizontal, and then placed it on the bedside table.

Seeing this, Ai Haibara panicked, "No...don't do that, it'll make me dizzy!"

But having already experienced Higashino Ning's wickedness, she closed her eyes first, tensing her entire body to prepare for the impending dizziness.

But how could Higashino Ning really push Haibara Ai out with just a "Go!"?

He chuckled and said, "You really do look like a great pillow right now."

As he spoke, he moved Chun Juan Ai to the middle of the bed and began to slowly untie the thin blanket.

The whole process was very quiet.
