The barrage of questions left Alex even more flustered. He didn't know what to say to Misha to convey the beliefs of the Integration Movement that he had originally intended to share with her, and the reasons for fighting for it.

However, what he did will, in the foreseeable future, further endanger the safety of the infected and make their living conditions even more difficult.

He was incredibly excited about the destruction and things he had done in Chernobog, wondering what his initial thoughts were and whether what he wanted to do was really the right thing to do.

“Say something!” Mischa tugged at Alex. “Do you even know what you guys did in Chernobog?”

Did Alex know? Of course he did. As a member of the Reunion Movement and one of the more destructive members of the leadership, he had used his grenade launcher to destroy countless buildings without any regard for whether anyone was still inside.

Even amidst the chaos of others, he repeatedly aimed his grenades at the ruins where people were clearly seeking help, and he repeatedly blasted grenades at people who had no ability to resist.

He used to be incredibly enamored with this feeling, enjoying the thrill of revenge. He believed it was a way to save the infected. But now, after calming down and hearing Talulah's words, he realized how irrational and insane his actions had been.

The organization that does this is a complete terrorist group, the kind that would kill ten people with a single shot, and those ten deserve to die.

As is well known, counter-terrorism only requires lists and heavy artillery fire, and Ursus's army group has never lacked these two things, nor has the Yan Kingdom behind Lungmen. The Reunion Movement will be destroyed between the two countries.

Such a fact should be a conclusion that can be drawn without thinking, so why didn't he think of it before?

“So, Alex,” Talulah said, leaning against the wall. “Alex has calmed down and his eyes are now filled with thought. “That’s enough. We can’t let our anger spread any further.”

“I understand, Talulah… no… Chief,” Alex stood up from his chair. “Your decision was correct…”

“…Leader?” Misha turned to look at Talulah. “What does that mean?”

“Hello…Miss Misha.” Talulah looked at Misha. “My name is Talulah…and I am the leader of the Reunion Movement.”

Reception room.

"So you came to find us?" Yuuki stirred her coffee, looking at Amiya and the Doctor sitting on the sofa with a hint of helplessness. "Shouldn't this kind of thing be handled by the Lungmen Guard Bureau more quickly?"

“Well, since Miss W was once our comrade, and…” Amiya lowered her head somewhat embarrassedly, “it’s not good to trouble our friends in the Guard Bureau to help us find her.”

"Well, the Emperor just announced that we're on vacation~" Exusiai leaned against Yuuki, "Um, Texas, do we have to work overtime?"

“Not interested.” Texas shook her head, then glanced one last time at Exusiai leaning against Yuuki. “And Exusiai, haven’t you been working overtime all this time?”

"Why don't you take this order and consider it a way to save some money for yourself? You still owe me money, so pay it back as soon as possible."

“You’re right.” Exusiai’s lips twitched. Texas wasn’t concerned about the debt at all; she clearly just thought she was in Yuuki’s way.

However, this debt is a real debt, and Exusiai's creed does not allow her to not repay it knowing it's owed. After all, Texas was her former best friend, and it's ultimately wrong to owe money and not pay it back.

“Well, I’m pretty good at finding people.” Exusiai scratched her head and looked at Amiya. “But it’s our vacation time now, so the hourly wage is tripled.”

"Hmm, that's no problem." Amiya nodded. Their wallets were still fairly full, so triple pay was no issue. "But is it alright for Exusiai to be alone?"

“Oh, I’ll bring Croissant over.” Exusiai pulled her phone out of her pocket. “Anyway, he’s been setting up a stall every day lately, so I’ll find him some work to do.”

"Hey Croissant, are you free?"

"What do you mean you're not free? You're always setting up a stall, aren't you? Where did you go to set up your stall today?"

"Pacific Place? You're really something, setting up a stall there without any worries? Are you going to kick them out?"

"Ha, you're fast, aren't you? Ah, alright, alright, let's get down to business. Amiya asked us to help them find someone in the slums. Interested in triple the work hours?"

"Okay, come back to us. We'll be waiting for you here."

After hanging up the phone, Exusiai put it away and looked at Amiya: "Croissant said he's free and will be back soon. He's going to put his things down first."

"Hmm." Amiya nodded, then looked at the Doctor who was mooching coffee from Yuuzuki, "That Doctor?"

"Could you add some more sugar?" The doctor wasn't holding his coffee cup; the coffee was a bit bitter today, and for someone with a sweet tooth like him, adding some sugar would make it more palatable.

"There are sugar cubes in that red box on your right." Xi Yue picked up her coffee, took a sip, and casually pointed to a small box on the Doctor's left.

"Oh~" The doctor reached out and opened the small box, took out two sugar cubes, gently placed them into the coffee cup, and picked up the small plastic spoon that was in the box to start stirring.

"Doctor, you've already had three cups of coffee," Amiya said, watching the Doctor stir his coffee. "Are you going to be able to sleep tonight?"

"With the workload you guys gave me, I could drink as much coffee as I want and still sleep soundly!" The Doctor looked at Amiya with a resentful expression. "So that's why you brought a small bag when you came out; it was full of documents!"

“I processed quite a few documents for you last night.”

“Kail’s doctor said that Doctor, you no longer need to rest.” Amiya turned her head slightly. “Moreover, Doctor, you’ve been using the coffee powder that Yuuki gave you recently, and you’ve quickly gotten rid of symptoms such as muscle atrophy caused by prolonged inactivity.”

"We clearly agreed that I would say I was ready to work." The Doctor stared resentfully at Amiya, who was no longer daring to look at him. "What a wicked rabbit."

"Waaah." Amiya blushed as she listened to the Doctor's words, lowered her head, and her rabbit ears kept twitching. "Um, um, didn't the Doctor handle it very quickly too?"

"I only brought a little bit, it will be taken care of quickly."

"Amiya, are you saying that the backpack full of documents you're carrying is just a little bit?" Hearing Amiya's words, the Doctor's gaze became even more resentful. "I'm afraid that once I'm done dealing with it, I'll be back on Rhodes Island, and then I'll have to face that mountain of documents again, right?"

“…” Amiya silently turned her head away as she listened to the Doctor’s question.

'I knew it~' Yuuki sipped her coffee, silently watching the Doctor and Amiya in front of her. She had already guessed that the Doctor would definitely not be idle after the New Year's Eve party.

"Poor Doctor." Exusiai shook her head, looking at the Doctor with a resentful expression and Amiya with an embarrassed look. "How come I never knew Miss Amiya was so heartless?"

"Ugh..." Amiya lowered her head even further as she listened to Exusiai's teasing, but it was clear that despite the teasing, the Doctor still had a lot of work to do that night.

"Never mind, anyway, you'll probably just ask me about it tonight and have me handle the office work." The Doctor reached out and stroked Amiya's head. "Right now, the more important thing is to find that person, isn't it?"

“That makes sense.” Amiya nodded, blushing as she looked at Exusiai, who had a knowing smile on her face. “Miss Exusiai, shouldn’t we talk about work?”

"Okay, go ahead and tell me, I'm listening~"

—————Longmen Slums, North City Slums—————

"Are you sure they're here?" Franka looked at Exusiai leaning against the barbed wire. "This area isn't small."

"Let me see." Exusiai pulled her phone out of her pocket. "Yes, it's right here."

“Is said it’s right here, look at the slums in the north of the city. It’s a pity that there was too little time, otherwise I think Is could have pinpointed it even more precisely.”

"Is the information accurate?" Razer frowned as he looked at the confident-looking Exusiai. If he wasn't mistaken, Penguin Logistics should have only received the commission this afternoon.

"Don't worry, don't worry~" Croissant nodded from the side, shaking the iron hammer in her hand, "Is's intelligence has never been wrong."

Razer looked at the two confident men, his brows furrowing even deeper: "Everyone from Penguin Logistics, I think you should know who we're looking for this time, right?"

In less than an hour, you identified the person they were looking for and even provided their location? This isn't just anyone they're looking for.

According to the information provided by Amiya, the other party was an old Sarkaz mercenary who frequented the battlefield.

The location the other party would choose to hide in would be extremely secluded, and would likely be a place rarely visited by people to avoid being noticed.

Razer was somewhat incredulous that they had located the other party's position in just one hour.

Exusiai raised her head and looked at Razer: "I know you're an old mercenary who's been on the battlefield, but our Penguin Logistics missions have never failed."

Croissant, who was standing nearby, hung the hammer back inside her shield and nodded to Razer: "Don't worry, we're professionals. Our job is to transport life and death for certain guests, so please rest assured."

"In that case, I understand." Seeing the two's confidence, Razer could only nod, then looked into the slums: "Let's go."

In the distance, atop a tall building in the slums, a woman pointed to a telescope, watching Amiya and her companions as they entered the slums.

The girl had two horns growing close to her head on top of her head, and two red and one white ahoge in her hair fluttered in the air when the wind blew.

"Oh dear, look who's here!" W's lips curled into a smile as she peered through her binoculars at the Doctor, who was completely shrouded in clothing beside Amiya. "They've actually come knocking on our door, huh?"

W put down the binoculars. As he stood on the low wall of the rooftop and looked over, a gentle breeze blew, slightly lifting W's clothes. Inside his clothes, he could see all sorts of bombs hanging everywhere.

Some of the bombs seemed to have simple smiley faces painted on them. Perhaps they were stood up before the paint was dry, and the bright red paint slid down, giving the smiley faces an even more sinister feel.

"Let me think about what I should do to entertain you, Doctor..." W lightly touched her bright red lips with her finger, pretending to think, the smile on her lips never fading.

"But Amiya's still here." W thought about the people she'd just seen, and remembering Amiya beside the Doctor, and couldn't help but feel a headache coming on. "Oh well, I'll just play a little joke on you this time, Doctor~"

W took out a landmine with a strange smiling face from under his clothes, then looked around and walked to a pile of debris on the rooftop.

After searching inside, W pulled out a tattered wooden box from the pile of junk, and found a spray paint can in his clothes. He then sprayed a bright red, eerie smiley face onto the box.

With a wicked grin, W put the box and landmine together, then jumped off the roof with both items in hand.

"Doctor, this is the first little prank you've ever played~"

--------------

On the other side, walking along the somewhat dilapidated streets of the slum, the doctor suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, and a strange sense of unease welled up in his heart.

"What's wrong, Doctor?" Amiya asked with concern when she saw the Doctor suddenly stop moving. "Are you feeling unwell?"

"No, no." The doctor shook his head, but his eyes kept looking around. "I just felt a chill run down my spine."

"Yeah, the weather isn't great today." Exusiai, who was walking ahead with a somewhat nonchalant air, looked back. "Are you alright? You're dressed so warmly, aren't you cold?"

The doctor shook her head, then looked up at the rooftop of a building in the distance. If she wasn't mistaken, someone had just been watching her from there.

Moreover, it was a malicious gaze; the Doctor's eyes were fixed on that building: "Amiya, shall we go to that building over there?"

“Okay.” Amiya nodded, trusting the Doctor’s tactics as always. “Everyone, let’s head towards that building over there.”

"Understood~"

"clear."

Everyone nodded. Anyway, it's such a big place, so it doesn't matter where we go. Having a clear goal is a good thing.

And that building was the same one W had just been looking at with binoculars.

Chapter 109: The Art of Gunfire

"The slums here feel so different," Franka said, looking around at the streets. "Compared to the slums in other cities, these seem more... well, more peaceful?"

"It's also more orderly." Razer looked around and could tell that although the people around them were wary of them, they didn't seem to have any ill intentions.

To be honest, this is rare in slums. Locals usually harbor some degree of malice towards outsiders, no matter how much.

This wasn't out of any malice on their part, but merely out of wariness towards outsiders. However, everyone here only saw their gazes out of curiosity, without any malice whatsoever.

This is a rather rare occurrence for Razer and their team, especially since they are now fully armed and carrying weapons, unlike the slums of the cities they usually visit.

By now, local gangs or residents would have already come to drive people away, perhaps even with weapons.

"Mmm." Jessica nervously observed her surroundings while holding her pistol. "Although the roads here need repair, the environment is very clean, unlike the dirty and chaotic conditions of other slums."

Jessica glanced at the metal door next to her. "There don't seem to be any signs of vandalism on the doors here. The gangs here seem to be quite disciplined."

“Of course!” Exusiai and Croissant led the way for everyone. When they came back, Exusiai turned around and looked proud as Jessica and the others discussed.

“The slums in Lungmen were originally quite law-abiding because there was a huge gang managing them.”

"Originally?" Razer looked at Exusiai. "You mean not anymore?"
