The Embers of King's Teyvat Journey

Although the story sounds plausible, most hunters have barely even seen the wolves of Wolf's Den, let alone the extremely cautious Razor.
"Mr. Dulaf, what are they all talking about?" Xiangling listened to everyone's conversation for a while but couldn't understand anything, so she simply asked Dulaf directly.
"They're discussing the legend of the 'wolf children.' I never imagined that the wolves of the Wolf Territory would actually raise human children." Dulaf looked at the ferocious Razer not far away, a hint of shock in his eyes.
"A child raised by wolves?" Xiangling looked at Lei Ze, who was wearing a tattered coat, and wondered what he was thinking.
Razer is very sensitive to gazes, a trait he developed while hunting, and also because he cares about how others perceive him.
Whether it's human or wolf.
As a child, he noticed that the other wolves in the pack looked at him differently than they did. He was afraid of that look.
Fortunately, through repeated hunts, he gained the trust of the wolf pack. Those fearful stares eventually faded into memory.
But now, those gazes were back on him. Razer took a few steps back in fear; all he wanted now was to return to the wolf pack, to Lupica's side.
"Boom!"
The loud clang of metal clashing interrupted their conversation. They snapped out of their daze and looked at Ember, who was pounding his breastplate, with some confusion.
"What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen someone scratch an itch before?" Yu Jin patted his breastplate, completely ignoring the stares of the crowd.
It was only then that Razer realized that the guy in front of him was just as peculiar as he was.
Enveloped in armor, the darkness within the gaps obscured everything. He resembled a knight statue that had emerged from ancient ruins.
That was the impression Ember left on Razer. Perhaps, those gazes weren't directed at him, but at Ember?
Thinking of this, Lei Ze stopped in his retreat.
"Dulaf, do you no longer need me? I think it would be more convenient for you to talk directly to Razer." Ember looked Razer up and down in his "primitive" attire before speaking to Dulaf behind him.
This request seems a bit redundant, doesn't it?
While Ember was lost in thought, Dulaf had already walked up to Razer.
"Hello, Razer. I am Duraf, the hunter leader of Springvale." Duraf looked at Razer and introduced himself first.
"Hello." Razer nodded and then said nothing more. To be honest, he wasn't good at dealing with humans.
"I've come here to discuss the boundaries between us with the wolf pack, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings." Seeing this, Dulaf stopped beating around the bush and got straight to the point.
"Roar……"
A deep wolf howl came from Razer's mouth, and the previously quiet wolf pack became lively again.
However, the wolf pack reached a consensus quite quickly, and before long, the noisy wolf howls subsided.
Then, a white wolf with somewhat dull fur emerged from the pack and began to communicate with Razer.
The latter kept nodding, suggesting that the white wolf was likely a leader-like figure within the pack.
After White Wolf finished speaking, he nodded to Razer, indicating that he could go and talk to Dulaf.
“Okay. But, Elder, who set the fire?” Razer looked at Dulaf and relayed what the white wolf had just said.
"Fire?" Dulaf glanced at Xiangling almost imperceptibly, then waved his hand and said with a smile, "We don't know either, maybe it was struck by lightning?"
“We are all hunters, and we would not do anything that could damage the forest ecosystem.” As he spoke, Dulaf emphasized their identity.
How could a seasoned hunter possibly set fire?
After hearing what Dulaf said, Razer turned around and started talking to the white wolf again.
As White Wolf listened to Razer's words, he squinted his eyes, as if he were about to fall asleep.
A subtle fluctuation of consciousness emanated from the forest. Yu Jin reached out and sensed the source of this consciousness.
Then he laughed. He hadn't expected this mission to be so fruitful; he had actually collected all three forms of the defeated demon god.
Those who have lost their minds, those who have lost their bodies, and those who are sealed away—two of the three fates of demons that Oser spoke of are here.
“No, you’re lying.” Rezer stared intently at Duraf and said, enunciating each word clearly.
"No need for that, Mr. Dulaf. It was me! I started the fire!" Xiangling waved her hand at Dulaf and then readily admitted her mistake.
But it wasn't Xiangling who set the fire, it was Guoba.
The white wolf shook its head; the wolf king's consciousness told it that Xiangling was not the real arsonist either.
"It was me, actually!"
Ember raised his hand and then cast a fireball into the scorched woods.
"Boom!" Intense flames surged, and when the heat and flames dissipated, a deep crater appeared in the ground in the distance.
"So...so scary."
"The great adventurer truly lives up to his name!"
"Hey! There's a fire again!"
"Fuck, why didn't you say so earlier?"
Ember leaped over and then used his invisible foot to extinguish all the remaining flames.
"So, what kind of compensation do you want? Just say the word!" He ran back and said, waving his hand.
The white wolf's eyes became hesitant. It would open its eyes sometimes and close them slightly at other times, as if it were communicating with something.
However, the white wolf's state quickly disappeared. It growled a few times at Razer.
“Ember, and this girl. Come with us.” Razer pointed at Ember, then at Xiangling.
"What do you want? To fight?" Yu Jin pulled out a shield from somewhere and held it in front of Xiang Ling.
If they really wanted to fight, Ember would allow them to beat him up first. After all, he had taken the blame, so it wasn't impossible for others to make a move.
Whether he can hurt Yu Jin depends on his skill.
“No. It’s it that wants to see you,” Razer said, shaking his head. They weren’t some unreasonable wolves; they wouldn’t attack people randomly.
"Who?" Yu Jin put away his shield with some disappointment. He was actually looking forward to a fight—giving the wolf pack some pointers would be a way of making it up to them.
Ember has never lacked combat experience, regardless of the race he has fought against.
"The lord of this land, Boreas."
That Vilette sprayed so satisfyingly, spit it out, everyone spit out the Water Dragon King!
Chapter 226 The Wolf King is Not the Wolf King

"Hmph hmph hmph~~"
A girl's humming could be heard coming from the dense jungle.
If you look closely, you'll see that the girl is surrounded by gray and white wolves, making you worry for her.
Besides the girl, two other people were also surrounded by the wolves, but like the girl, they showed no panic.
Xiangling hummed an unknown song for a while while holding Guoba, then ran to Lei Ze's side.
She took out a few pieces of pastry from her cloth bag and stuffed them into Razer's hand.
"Here you go, osmanthus cake, it's delicious."
Xiangling found it quite amusing to see Lei Ze looking so bewildered. Although she had brought the osmanthus cake for her junior sister Yao Yao, it was clear that Lei Ze needed it more.
"Too sweet, not good. It'll ruin your teeth." Lei Ze took a small bite and knew it wasn't his favorite food.
Nothing appealed to him except potatoes and meat. This time was no exception.
With this in mind, Lei Ze exerted a little force in his hand, intending to crush the osmanthus cake and scatter it into the forest.
Even food that he doesn't eat, Razer will scatter on the ground, a tradition of the Wolf Pack.
However, just as he was doing this, he suddenly felt an immense pressure coming from beside him.
Lei Ze turned his head and saw that Xiang Ling was holding Guo Ba with her brows furrowed, her round bear eyes fixed on his palm.
And somehow, Guoba suddenly had a huge chili pepper in his hand.
Guoba held the green stem of the chili pepper and gently tapped its other paw with the tip of the pepper, looking quite intimidating.
"Glug!" Feeling Guoba's gaze, Lei Ze knew that if he spilled the osmanthus cake in his hand, something bad would definitely happen.
So, it's okay to eat sweets occasionally, right?
As Lei Ze stuffed the osmanthus cake into his mouth, Guoba's intense gaze gradually dissipated.
"Sorry, Guoba hates wasting food the most!" Xiangling saw Lei Ze choking and immediately stepped forward to hand him the water bag.
"Phew—, ha!" Lei Ze gulped down a few mouthfuls of water and finally managed to swallow the osmanthus cake in his mouth.
He patted his chest, his prejudice against human food deepening—he had never choked when he ate meat!
"Why would Guoba use a chili pepper as a weapon?!" Yu Jin watched as Guoba put away the chili pepper, which was much larger than a normal chili pepper, and could no longer suppress his inner urge to complain.
He'd never seen anyone use chili peppers as weapons before. Are all the demons here so unique?
"Haha, it's just ordinary chili peppers." Xiangling laughed when she heard Yu Jin's complaint.
If there's anything special about crispy rice crust besides its ability to breathe fire, it's that it loves chili peppers.
Whenever Xiangling cooks outdoors without any seasonings, she shakes the rice crust and always manages to shake out a few chili peppers.
"It must have been tough for it; such a big chili pepper is hard to find." Yu Jin compared it in his mind; the chili pepper at Guoba was almost as thick as his forearm.
This is the first time I've ever seen such a big chili pepper.
"Ouch——"
Just as the group was discussing the characteristics of the rice crust, a clear wolf howl suddenly came from ahead.
Xiangling compared the sound of Ember's howl with the sound of ghosts and nodded slightly. It seemed that the people of Clear Spring Town were right; Ember's howl was indeed a ghost's howl.
"We've arrived, Wolf King Boreas." After hearing the wolf's howl, Razer translated it to Xiangling and Ember.
Continuing with the wolf pack, the once dense forest abruptly ended. In its place stood towering rock formations and huge pits carved from gray stone.
The pit was large and perfectly circular. The rock walls were carved with patterns of wolves and wind, making it look like an altar.
In the center of the giant crater, something seemed to be stuck in the ground. Others might not be able to see it clearly, but with Ember's keen eyesight, it was easy for him to recognize it.
