The Embers of King's Teyvat Journey

"Wait...wait for me!" The young master covered his forehead. He saw that only the backs of the crowd remained. He shook his head and immediately followed.
Although the strangeness of this road has been reduced considerably, he was still somewhat apprehensive if the young master were to stay behind alone.
The two people in the distance were not too far from the crowd, and soon a large group of people surrounded them.
To everyone's surprise, the two people talking showed not a trace of panic on their faces.
Forget about being panicked; the two people talking didn't even glance at them.
"The tree is in good condition; it seems this year's festival will go smoothly," the woman in green robes said with delight, looking at the man in short shirt opposite her.
Her expression was perfectly natural, and it seemed that the joy in the woman's voice was genuine.
But the fact that he appeared completely natural under the gaze of a large group of burly men makes the whole thing seem unnatural.
"You can't complete the ceremony just by looking and talking. The right way is to properly offer sacrifices to the perch," the man admonished the woman, arms crossed.
"These two seem to be ignoring us." The young master was quite surprised to see the two talking as if no one else was around.
Could it be that the people of Heguan have become so xenophobic that they treat outsiders as if they don't exist?
"They didn't just ignore us; I don't think they even glanced at us." The stragglers sneered. From the moment he arrived until the Fools surrounded the two men, their eyes hadn't moved an inch.
"Haha, I definitely will, after all, the perch is a tree where Lord Thunderbird once rested."
"I never expected there to be someone even more arrogant than you here. I've really learned something new."
The woman and the young man each spoke their own words, and the scene looked quite strange, but in the atmosphere of He Guan, it was actually quite normal.
The young master smiled, seemingly annoyed by the two people ignoring him. Despite being ignored, he surprisingly felt no anger.
To be honest, it's probably easier for people to accept a single instance of disdain after the group has finished mocking them.
"That's true. When the skirmishers are arrogant, at least they look down at people. These two didn't even look at us."
Yu Jin nodded, indicating that he completely agreed with the young master's words.
"Hmph, I only act like that when I'm dealing with idiots." The skirmisher snorted, then shifted his gaze to the two people who were talking.
"Hey! You two, there's a limit to acting, isn't there? Are you both blind and can't see this huge group of people?" The stragglers walked up to the two men and mocked them.
"Hmm... Offering sacrifices to the perch is to remove foreign objects from it, right? Grandpa told you that, didn't he?"
The stragglers' words had no effect; the two continued talking amongst themselves about what they called a "festival."
Seeing this, the stragglers' eyes flashed with shame and anger. He stretched out his hand and shouted angrily, "Since you dare to ignore me, you must have the right to ignore me!"
"Let me see if you're capable enough to justify your arrogance."
"foreigner?"
Just as the soldier's hand was about to pat the two men's shoulders, a child's voice suddenly rang out.
The crowd looked in the direction of the sound and saw a child wearing a straw hat emerge from the mist.

"Hmm? A child?" The young master looked around and saw only a gloomy area with no houses or anything like that in sight.
“You’re just a child, aren’t your parents worried? Go back right now!” The young master came to the child’s side and waved him away.
Kids are the same everywhere, they can all run so fast.
"My parents are busy, and I know the way home!" The child shook his head, unwilling to go home.
"You know the way back? This fog is so thick..." The young master paused, because he saw the dense fog in the distance gradually dissipating, revealing the savage and desolate land beneath.
It is wild because the bushes and grasses in the distance grow wildly; it is desolate because no living creatures can be seen among such lush vegetation.
"When did the fog clear up?!" The young master rubbed his eyes. Was he dreaming?
“Just now.” Yu Jin crossed his arms and looked down at the children.
"Boy, what's your name?"
“Aru, my name is Aru.”
Aru sized up the group of fools, and then a look of curiosity appeared on her face.
Are you from out of town?
"Yes, I haven't been here long." The soldier nodded.
Upon hearing this, Aru jumped up and down with joy, "That's wonderful! It's been so long since any guests from outside have come to Heguan!"
"Even if he wanted to come, he couldn't," the young master muttered under his breath as he saw Aru cheering.
Given the thick fog surrounding Heguan, no matter how many people come, they'll probably all have to be sent back. If they're unlucky, it's not impossible for their ships to run aground and sink in the fog.
"Can you all join the festival? Kapachiri will be even happier if more people participate!"
After confirming that the group were outsiders, Aryu immediately invited everyone to participate in the festival.
"Attend the festival? What's a festival? And who is this Capachelli you mentioned?"
After seeing that Aru could talk normally, Sanbing immediately threw out a series of questions, causing Aru's happy little face to wrinkle up instantly.
"The festival... and Capachelli..."
Aryu scratched at him, looking distressed.
"Alright, you scoundrel, did you know everything when you were a kid?" The young master immediately retorted when he heard the scoundrel's questioning tone.
Upon hearing this, the soldiers glanced at the young master who had walked up to Aru. Even with a straw hat on, Aru barely reached the young master's waist.
"I was being presumptuous. It's a festival, right? We can watch." The soldier rubbed his forehead and agreed.
The series of strange events at Heguan made him overly sensitive, to the point that he completely ignored Aru's age after discovering that Aru could communicate normally.
"Yay! That's great!" Aru's previous gloomy face disappeared, and she smiled happily again.
As the cheers gradually subsided, Aryu looked at the group and a hopeful expression returned to her face.
"Guests from out of town, can you help me complete the festival?"
"You wouldn't be making that kind of face on purpose, would you?"
When the young master saw how skillfully Aru asked everyone for help, he immediately realized that Aru's previous worried expression was just an act.
He had initially thought that Aru resembled his younger brother, but now it seemed that the kid was much smarter than Tok.
"Hehe." Aru scratched her head, neither admitting nor denying it.
"We need to discuss this."
"You stay where you are, I'll be right back." The soldier gave the young master and Yu Jin a look, then turned and left.
Upon seeing this, the young master and Yu Jin immediately followed.
"What kind of auspicious place is this Crane View? No wonder Inazuma doesn't want it here. If I were General Thunder, I wouldn't want it either!"
As soon as he left the crowd, the young master started ranting and raving.
"Oh? Tell me, what's unusual about it?" Seeing the young master talking so enthusiastically, Yu Jin raised an eyebrow and asked.
He thought the young master hadn't noticed!
"I'm not blind. Anyone can see all these strange things!" The young master waved his hand and continued:
"First of all, those two people, I don't think they're even human!"
"To be able to ignore others to this extent, without even a flicker of emotion in one's eyes, is simply impossible!"
The young master shuddered as he recalled what he had witnessed. As a warrior, he had long ago mastered the ability to read the enemy's next attack intentions from their eyes.
However, when he used this ability on just the two people, he found that their gazes were fixed on each other, and no matter how much the young master moved, their eyes did not change.
It's like a pre-programmed sequence!
Thinking of this, the young master broke out in a cold sweat.
"And there's Aru, that kid is definitely suspicious! The moment he arrived, the fog dissipated, what a coincidence!"
"Then why are you stopping me?!"
Upon hearing that the young master knew something unusual, the soldiers immediately jumped up and down in anger. They knew Aru had a problem but wouldn't let him question her?
"You can't say that. Should we just go along with his wishes when something like this happens? Otherwise, who knows what might happen?"
Yu Jin patted the young master on the shoulder and spoke seriously to the scattered soldiers. The young master's actions were almost exactly what he had thought.
“Yes, that’s exactly what Yu Jin said. Besides, we still need to ask Aru for some information.” The young master immediately nodded.
"Did you see this in that novel again?" The soldier knew without a doubt where the embers and the young master's knowledge came from.
However, he did not intend to question it further, because he had to admit that there was some truth to what Yu Jin said.
"Should we help with this festival?" After explaining the strangeness of Crane Temple, the young master immediately turned to look at Ember and the scattered soldiers and asked.
Since Aryu and those two are acting so strangely, should they still offer their help?
Seeing and doing these things are completely different in nature.
"Didn't I tell you? If you don't go along with him, something terrible might happen! Then your demon-slaying skills will be put to the test!"
Yu Jin whistled, making a sarcastic remark.
"Then let's help each other." The young master shrank back. He wasn't afraid of monsters with physical forms, but if they tried to trick him, he would be helpless.
“To help, we need information from He Guan and Aru’s cooperation.” The soldier nodded in agreement.
He finally found a local from Heguan with whom he could communicate, and he didn't want Aru to get away.
After deciding on their plan, the three of them went to Aru's side again.
Meeting Aru's hopeful gaze, Yu Jin pointed to the stragglers and said, "We can help, but you have to answer his question first."
"No problem! The festival and Capachelli, right!"
"The festival is a ceremony held by our Crane View to express our gratitude for Lord Thunderbird's protection; as for Capachelli... she's my good friend, and she loves having lots of people!"
Aryu didn't hesitate for long and directly answered the question that the soldier had just raised.
"Thunderbird?" The skirmisher stroked his chin, deep in thought.
