"Die!" Jiliu exerted force with both legs and arrived beside Yujin in a moment. He raised his water blade high and slashed at Yujin with his hands crossed.

"Clang!" Ember raised his shield after a long absence, and the powerful, elemental water blade attack left no mark on the brass shield.

“First time.” Yu Jin glanced at him, then used the arm holding the shield to push him back.

A tremendous force came from his arm, and the torrent staggered back several steps.

"Terrifying power!" Jiliu leaped backward, inwardly marveling. Keeping distance from someone clearly skilled in close combat was the wise thing to do.

Then his arms shone with blue light, and the water blades on both sides crossed and swung, creating a blue light wave in the shape of a cross.

Ember changed to holding his shield with both hands and charged forward, each step he took deeply into the ground, appearing heavy and resilient.

Shield Charge – A combat technique that involves charging forward using the weight of the entire body while maintaining a steady shield for defense. When used against weaker enemies, it can cause them to lose their balance.

"Bang!" The solidified light wave collided with the embers, shattering like glass. Water, cleansed by the abyss, splashed onto him.

Ember sensed it and realized that this water was different from other waters; it could actually hinder the flow of elemental power.

If someone with the Eye of God were to be treated like this, it would probably be difficult for them to use elemental power again.

Clearly, the Abyss Apostle's elemental shield couldn't withstand the light attacks of the Ember's Great Weapon.

The massive hammerhead shattered the water elemental shield on his body the instant it made contact with the torrent, and continued its momentum as it slammed him toward the ground.
