"Let's go!" Galura and Amber were the first to rush out the door and run towards the street.
"Wait, wait for me!" Cole also abandoned his reserve and quickly caught up with the two energetic people.
"Close the door gently! You'll have to pay for it if it breaks!" Yu Jin was the last one to nag, like an old woman.
……
The Blackfire incident has been going on for a day, but there are still no clues. As a result, Mondstadt is under a lot of pressure from the Fatui, but so far it has not affected the general public.
So Mondstadt was still bustling with people.
People from nearby towns had long ago brought all sorts of items to Mondstadt, adding a touch of elegance to this jewel of the Northlands.
Ember sat on a chair outside the Deer Hunter restaurant, watching three girls picking out clothes not far away.
"Does buying clothes really take this long?" Yu Jin asked, puzzled. He had been sitting on the chair for a long time, but the three girls showed no sign of finishing.
This caused Miss Sarah, the restaurant waitress, to look at Yu Jin with a hint of resentment—he hadn't ordered anything.
However, Ember clearly didn't care about that; Sarah's gaze was automatically shifted to his longing for the king.
"Brother Yu, Yu Jin, what do you think of this outfit? We picked it out for you." Encouraged by Galura and Amber, Cole ran up to Yu Jin with a gray-black coat in hand.
"Hiss—" Yu Jin had a toothache. In his current state, just taking off his helmet was enough to make him clash with an ancient god, let alone changing into normal clothes.
But seeing the expectant look in Ke Lai's eyes, Yu Jin's head throbbed even more.
Seeing that Ember was rubbing his chin and not reacting for a long time, Cole's face fell.
"Well, I'm sorry to have bothered you, Brother Yu Jin." With that, Ke Lai picked up her coat, looking somewhat dejected.
“Come here.” Yu Jin reached out and put his hand on Ke Lai’s shoulder, then pulled her into his arms.
“Like Cole, I have something inside me too. But I don’t have Cole’s natural beauty, I’m pretty ugly,” Ember whispered in Cole’s ear.
Ke Lai felt a warm breeze brushing against her earlobe, and her face flushed.
Accompanying the heat was the scent of embers, a peculiar smell of the sun mixed with the ash from the fierce burning of firewood.
"Also, this secret is known only to you; I haven't even told Galura," Yu Jin added after thinking for a moment.
"Alright! They're all getting impatient, go play!" With that, Ember pushed Cole aside.
Cole clutched her coat tightly, looking at Ember waving at her. She seemed to have found a new goal, and this time it wasn't revenge.
"It seems you're quite adept at dealing with young girls, huh? How interesting." A somewhat frivolous voice came from across from Yu Jin.
Yu Jin turned around and saw a man with wheat-colored skin wearing an eye patch standing opposite him.
"Cavalry Captain Kaya, may I sit here?" Kaya asked, but he had already pulled out a chair and sat down.
"Ember, please make yourself at home." Ember nodded, showing no surprise at his arrival.
After all, he's not a professional assassin, and his actions last night will definitely leave many traces. It's only a matter of time before he's found out.
"Sarah, two glasses of dandelion liqueur, put it on my tab!" Kaiya ordered two glasses of liqueur as soon as he sat down, as a way to moisten his throat before the conversation that was about to begin.
"Want to try some? Mondstadt's wine is the best on the continent, and the dandelion wine produced in Mondstadt is especially unique." Kaeya pushed one of the two glasses of wine that Sarah had brought over to Ember.
Ember picked up his glass. To be honest, he had no sense of taste, and his only impression of alcohol came from the Onion Knight's drinks.
That's a wine that even immortals can taste.
Just like Galura and the others, Kaiya only felt a blur before his eyes, and then not a drop of wine remained in the Ember Wine Cup.
Kaiya narrowed his eyes. He hadn't seen anything at all. Was she deliberately showing off her strength?
"Hmm, not bad wine," Yu Jin said casually, as he expected, he still couldn't taste anything special.
Kaiya didn't mind; drinking was secondary anyway. He smiled and said:
"Haha, I'm glad you like it. Mondstadt has many more delicious wines, and you'll find them in the future."
"Really? But Mr. Kaeya didn't come to see me just for drinks, did he?" Ember asked Kaeya across from him.
He could sense that Kaeya's purpose in seeking him out was not simple, but unfortunately, Ember was truly not good at figuring out what others were thinking. He was much better at simply taking things out and seeing for himself.
Kaeya's face twitched almost imperceptibly. He hadn't expected Ember to be so blunt, even though he had prepared a lot of explanations.
“Since that’s the case, I’ll be blunt: that girl is the murderer in the Blackfire case,” Kaiya said, looking at Cole who was playing around with Amber in the distance.
“I’ve seen them. Those two diplomats deserve to die!” Yu Jin said.
“If you kill someone, you either atone for your sins or pay with your life. There are no other options.” Yu Jin tapped the table.
“They were diplomats, their status is different.” Kaya sighed, not refuting Ember’s statement, but simply pointing out the identity of the deceased.
"What do you suggest we do? I don't think Mondstadt needs to sacrifice a young girl for peace." Ember glanced at the patrolling Favonius Knights in the distance, then at the towering city walls, and said slowly.
Kaeya smiled and said slowly, "Of course, Mond will not abandon anyone."
“We’ve found the culprit in the Black Fire case. This time, the Fools will escort the body themselves. As heroes who punish evil and promote good, we can’t abandon him, can we?”
Kaeya downed the wine in his glass in one gulp and said to Ember.
Ember nodded; he knew what to do.
"Tomorrow at noon, Eagle's Nest Beach." Kaeya stood up, turned his back to Ember, and disappeared into the crowd.
"Cough cough cough!" In the distance, out of Ember's sight, Kaeya leaned against the wall, his face flushed.
"Indeed, dandelion wine is meant to be savored slowly. It's amazing he can drink it down like that." Kaiya shook his head, trying to calm himself down.
"Phew—it seems we've won this round. Haha, how amusing!" As if recalling the Fatui's exasperated expressions, Kaeya couldn't help but burst into laughter.
He believed that this trip to Mondstadt would definitely leave a deep impression on those arrogant guys.

Girls are always a hassle; Amber and her friends didn't feel satisfied until the sun was setting.
The main people shopping were clearly Galura and Cole, in any case, Ember didn't see Amber change out of her clothes.
The bright red bunny ear headband bounced around, reflecting its owner's cheerful mood. Time spent with friends always seems too short, and Amber looked regretfully at the setting sun.
She had so many fun places she hadn't told Galuro and Cole about yet, but unfortunately, time didn't allow it.
"That's enough for today! I'll come find you guys to hang out again later!" Amber parted ways with Ember and the other two at an intersection.
Then she rushed towards a house.
To Ember's great surprise, there was a fluffy rabbit doll at the door of Amber's house, which was hopping and jumping into Amber's arms.
[What an amazing creature.] Ember only watched for a while before pulling Galuro and Cole away.
After a day of relaxation, Cole was noticeably more at ease. She was wearing a light green dress and playfully fighting with Garuda in front of her.
"Looks like I do have a knack for giving advice." Yu Jin thought to himself, a little smugly listening to the laughter coming from not far away.
He excels at both protecting and destroying.
"Come here, I need to talk to you," Yu Jin beckoned to the two girls in the distance.
"What? What? Going out again tonight?" Garuda ran over nonchalantly.
"Galuro, why are you still so playful?" Cole regained the feeling of being the eldest sister.
"I have to go out tomorrow, take care of yourself, I should be back around the afternoon," Yu Jin said casually.
Then he noticed that the atmosphere was visibly deteriorating.
Seeing their eyes begin to well up with tears again, Yu Jin frantically called out:
"Hey, hey, hey, why are you looking at me so resentfully? It's not like I'm abandoning you."
"Really?" Galura asked, somewhat unconvinced.
“Really!” Yu Jin said firmly.
"Brother Yu Jin, be careful." Ke Lai bit her lip. She had experienced more and seen more.
Ember looked at Coly with some surprise, then smiled and ruffled her short, emerald-green hair, saying:
“Looking too deeply can sometimes make you lose courage. Cole, try looking a little shallower. It's okay if you make a mistake, I'll cover for you now.”
Cole froze for a moment, then raised her head, a bright smile spreading across her flushed cheeks. "Then I'll leave you in Yu Jin's care from now on!"
However, this atmosphere was quickly broken by Galura. Galura took Ember's other hand, placed it on her head, and said:
"What about me? What about me? Is there anything Brother Yu Jin wants to say to me?"
Yu Jin looked at Galura, who was rubbing her hand against his, and patted her head helplessly:
"You don't need to change, you're the epitome of an energetic idiot."
"Ahhh! I'm not stupid!" Galura protested, she didn't think she was stupid at all.
“But I like it very much,” Yu Jin added.
Now it was Galura's turn to blush. Actually, being a fool isn't so bad, since she has Yu Jin protecting her anyway.
"Hey, hey, hey! Wait for me!" Just as Galuro was grinning foolishly, Ember and Cole had already walked far away. She quickly called out and followed after them.
The sunset in Mondstadt added a touch of joy.
……
As Ember stepped out of Mondstadt, he called out to Galuro and Krystal, who were watching him from the city walls:
"Alright, let's go back!"
The scene of parting was always ordinary. Yu Jin's shouts did not attract much attention. At most, some people would take a few more glances because of his peculiar attire.
Ember stopped looking back at Mondstadt and gradually increased his speed. Before long, Mondstadt disappeared from sight.
Taking out the map, Ember remembered what Kaeya had said yesterday.
If possible, go easy on them. The deaths of two diplomats have already enraged the Winter Kingdom.
If too many people die this time, they might send a new executive officer, and that would be troublesome.
“What a troublesome request.” Yu Jin shook his head, but he could understand it. When you are weak, you have to compromise when necessary. He didn’t dislike this approach.
Along the way, Yu Jin concealed his presence, not even bothering to look at the scenery before him.
