Chris's tone immediately became flustered: "What happened to her? Where is she?"

"Your sister seems to have run off to Raccoon City. We don't know how she got past the National Guard's cordon, but don't worry, Jill Valentine and Carlos's UBCS mixed search and rescue team encountered her on Central Avenue in the south, and one of our elite squads is also operating nearby."

......

at the same time.

"Claire? What are you doing in Raccoon City?!"

"I'm looking for my brother... Sister Valentine, is that really you? He hasn't contacted me for almost two months, and I'm very worried about him. Do you know where he is?"

On Central Avenue, at the Raccoon City Police Department, an unexpected reunion broke the oppressive atmosphere of the station.

Having changed into her MSF gear, Jill removed her mask and helmet amidst the watchful eyes of the police and survivors, rubbing her temples in annoyance.

Standing in front of her was a young woman with long, brown hair tied in a neat ponytail. She had a pretty face, wore a white shirt, a red jacket, jeans, and high-top riding boots. Her clothes and face were covered in dust, giving her a travel-worn appearance.

It was Chris's twin sister, Claire.

"What were you thinking, a female college student like you running off to Raccoon City all by yourself at a time like this?!"

Chapter 037 Raccoon City Affairs Concluded (4K)

At the Raccoon City Police Department, this bizarre reunion has captured the attention of all the survivors.

Gunfire continued to erupt from outside the isolation fence, and the low growls and the sounds of zombies tearing flesh with their sharp teeth could be heard from corners and even some sealed rooms in the police station.

“Sister Valentine, you’re here, but where is my brother? I saw the news about Raccoon City from California on the night of the 25th and rushed there overnight, but I didn’t expect the situation to have deteriorated to this extent.”

Claire's tone was urgent and anxious.

Redfield and her brother Chris lost both parents at a young age, and she and Chris grew up relying on each other. Chris was like a father to her, and the siblings had always had a very close relationship. Chris had been out of contact for over two months, and she was extremely worried.

"You saw the news and you still came?!"

Jill frowned. She knew Chris's sister; to put it nicely, she was brave; to put it bluntly, she was courting death. The news that broke on the 25th—headlines like "highly contagious disease," "cannibalism," and "biochemical virus leak"—would make any normal person run far away.

If something unexpected really happens, or if she and Chris aren't here, wouldn't Chris have to live with regret for the rest of his life?

And Chris too, he gets completely absorbed in the mission, he even forgot to borrow Claire's phone to let her know he was safe...

Jill said irritably, "Your brother is fine. He's currently on a search and rescue mission for survivors in the west of the city."

"Great!"

Clayton breathed a sigh of relief and went to hug Jill, saying, "Sister Valentine, can I hug you..."

"No."

As she put her helmet back on, Jill answered decisively, "After I rescue you, all of you must immediately go to the National Guard checkpoint outside the city for a medical examination! Raccoon City is dangerous right now; it's not a place for civilians like you to stay."

After saying that, Jill looked towards the police station lobby, where the black sheriff, whom the police officers and surviving citizens regarded as their leader, said, "Long time no see."

"Jill, it really is you."

Black Sheriff Marvin Branagh was surprised. He hadn't expected to see Jill again, and judging from Jill's attire, had she joined Umbrella? "You joined Umbrella? Just two months ago, weren't you and STARS arguing about exposing Umbrella?"

"To make a long story short, you all need to move with me immediately. At the latest, the day after tomorrow, according to that Director Russell, Raccoon City will be sterilized and bombed. Staying here is just waiting to die."

"But... there are still injured civilians in the police station and detention center..."

“No buts.” Having dealt with the T-virus for so long, Jill was decisive. “I can’t tell if they’re infected with the T-virus. Save the people first. We have the vaccine, but it’s at the evacuation point in the west of the city and won’t arrive anytime soon. Can you guarantee they’ll get the vaccine before they turn into zombies? Let’s go!”

She looked at the citizens whose faces turned pale upon hearing her words, and sighed helplessly, "I will try to create an escape route for you, but you will have to walk through it yourselves."

After speaking, Jill put on her gas mask, closed and secured it, checked the magazine of her submachine gun, codenamed 'Saratoga,' and chambered a round. "Are you coming or not..." she asked Marvin one last time.

"..." Marvin looked back at his colleagues and the greenhorn who had just joined the company and encountered this mess, gritted his teeth and stomped his foot, "Fine!"

"Carlos!"

Nodding, Jill pushed open the police station door. Outside, although there was no opportunity to change into the full MSF gear, the UBCS members, all wearing T-shirts, combat vests, knee and shoulder pads, and equipped with fully automatic weapons, were still much better than the police with their small hoses and a handful of short-barreled shotguns.

"Hey, beautiful lady, what can I do for you?"

Carlos, still with his messy hair and unkempt appearance, plunged a knife into the eye socket of the zombie across the iron fence, stirred it, and pulled it out.

"The police station might be the last survivor stronghold in Raccoon City. We need to protect them as they evacuate."

"OK, guys, let's get to work."

Nodding, Carlos turned and called out to his UBCS comrades who were standing guard around the police station and clearing away the horde of corpses.

"I'll lead the way."

Carlos grabbed the tactical shotgun he had just equipped, kicked open the door, and fired a shot. The buckshot pierced through the swollen, rotting skin, causing blood to explode in bursts. The two zombies that rushed at him were sent flying more than a meter away.

Da da da.

A series of light, clicking shots rang out as bullets flew from the barrels. Jill swept away the female corpse hiding behind the vehicle, and the other UBCS opened fire as well. The dozen or so zombies that had gathered around fell like rice being harvested.

This is so cool.

If the timing hadn't been inappropriate, Carlos would have even wanted to whistle.

Although Vera's new master has been renamed Military Technology, they are still treated like stepchildren, but at least they have plenty of ammunition.

Those monstrous BOWs were basically wiped out by the MSF last night. And new MSF units are constantly arriving, some accompanied by military special forces, specifically to find BOWs and those mutated creatures to test new weapons.

Da da.

With Jill at the forefront and UBCS positioned on the perimeter, the Raccoon City Police Department escorted a dozen or so citizens who were still able to run. The group of several dozen people left the Raccoon City Police Department and headed north along Central Avenue, intending to enter Raccoon Avenue, where MSFs were stationed to regularly clear out scattered zombies, and then head west out of the city.

In the group, a handsome white man with blond hair parted in the middle, wearing a navy blue RPD field uniform and holding a pistol was carrying a blonde, blue-eyed little girl. He was running and constantly comforting her, saying, "Sherry, don't cry, don't be afraid, we're safe, we'll be safe."

"But... big brother, I miss Mom... Mom is still at the research institute... She told me to take refuge at the police station, but she didn't come to find me... Dad, I dreamed that Dad turned into a monster and didn't want Shirley anymore."

"Watch where you're going! Newbie!"

Just as the young policeman was feeling dejected and unsure of what to say, Sergeant Marvin's roar pulled him back to reality, and he quickly took a big step, only to trip over the shattered tires of the car.

"Thank you, Inspector Marvin."

"Sigh... I saw your job offer when this damn cannibalism outbreak occurred. I should have asked you to come a few days later, but in the early stages of the outbreak, before the 'cannibalism' symptoms appeared, we were too busy and short-staffed. I'm sorry, Leon, it was my fault that you were dragged into this damn hell of Raccoon City."

"Come on, let me hug you for a bit, you rest..." the Black sheriff Marvin said apologetically, slowing down.

"I do not want!"

Sherry buried her head in Leon's arms. Marvin wasn't embarrassed and smiled, "She quite likes you."

"Perhaps it's because when Sherry arrived at the police station, it was too chaotic inside, so I specially protected her for a few days."

“Leon.” Claire slowed down as well. “Thank you for your help these past few days.”

"It's okay, it's the police's duty, even though I'm still a rookie. That's what everyone says."

Leon lightened the mood with a joke, patting the girl in his arms on the back.

To be honest, after learning that he would be working here, he decided to stay here long-term and had already thought about how to get along well with his colleagues. But once he arrived, he was busy, busy, busy... with endless attendance.

There was absolutely no time to rest. During that time, they encountered this girl hiding at the police station, and then while on duty outside, they met Claire, who had come to Raccoon City to find her brother. Then, it seemed as if the 'cannibalism' had completely worsened overnight, and they all went insane. Later, they learned that they had been infected with some kind of virus...

Just then, "Stop!"

As Jill, positioned at the front, passed through a small alley, she suddenly crouched down and switched her weapon from a submachine gun to a shotgun. Click!

With the slug loaded, she could clearly see, through the infrared night vision goggles of an unknown model, the outline of a deformed, orange-red crawling creature and what appeared to be a humanoid figure crouching in the corner.

"come out!"

boom!

In the alley, blood and foam burst from the deformed reptile's body!

"Damn! It's a USF bitch!"

"Don't shoot, he's alive, you win."

A group of six people, men and women dressed in black combat uniforms, all with wounds and bandages, covered in blood and dust, walked out of the alley.

"Umbrella's?!"

When Jill saw the red and white umbrella-shaped insignia on their epaulets, her voice immediately rose several octaves.

"Aren't you also from Umbrella? Oh, you guys are now using military technology, you're MSF."

The elegant middle-aged woman leading the group, wearing a transparent full-coverage mask, spoke up: "We are the USS Delta Team. We have accepted Director Vera Adelhead's proposal."

"What proposal?"

The Delta team was stunned. "You don't know?"

"What should I know?"

Jill still did not put down her gun, and the two sides remained locked in a stalemate.

Leon put down the pear, looking on in bewilderment, until— "Ah, it seems the lucky outsider doesn't understand." A slightly husky, mature female voice spoke, and feeling the fragrant breeze approaching, Leon blushed and took a step back, saying:

"Miss Ida...do you know anything?"

He had rescued this capable Asian woman in red a few hours earlier. She said she was looking for something belonging to her boyfriend in Raccoon City, so he took her back to the Raccoon City Police Department. During that time, she behaved herself, except for occasionally teasing him.

"Ah, how cute."

Unbeknownst to her, Ada strode closer to Sherry, then with lightning speed, tore off Sherry's necklace, pulled out her grappling hook gun, and whoosh! Her figure had already leaped into the air towards the roof.

Lyon was still completely bewildered.
