"Following the directions of the locals, I found a logistics warehouse in a village in the snow-capped mountains. It was built by investors from other places in 98 or 99. It was very new and was said to be the logistics warehouse of a large chemical plant in the snow-capped mountains. When I went to investigate, the warehouse was in chaos and something had leaked out. It was the T virus and BOW!"
“My companion was bitten to death… Many people in the village have been infected… I’m in the silo next to the logistics warehouse… There are many Umbrella surveillance cameras in the village, you need to be careful…”
As the voice continued, the signal grew weaker and weaker, eventually disconnecting completely, beep beep beep—
boom!
Chris slammed his fist on the seat and said angrily, "Umbrella's bastards!"
"Brad!"
"Don't rush me! This is high-altitude snowfield, I'm already driving as fast as I can!"
......
In the afternoon, 25 minutes had passed since then. Screech! A slight braking sound, the wheels with anti-skid chains came to a stop, click, Chris got out of the car over the undulating hillside, grabbed his binoculars and began to observe the small village from a high vantage point.
It is really small; you can see the whole thing at a glance.
Dead silence.
In town, the large warehouse building with its brand-new facade stood out. On the street, after just a few glances, Chris couldn't help but curse, "Fuck!"
As far as the eye could see, there were zombies walking unsteadily, though their clothes were not tattered.
The bright red bloodstains on their bodies and necks showed that they had been infected not long ago, and such rapid infection clearly indicated that someone was deliberately releasing the virus!
“They know we’re here.”
Jill stepped forward, her face somber, and before she finished speaking, she raised the silenced D2 Copperhead in her hand and whooshed it!
Flesh and blood splattered.
The head of a zombie that was spreading out of the village was blown off.
She then looked at the towering, inverted 'L'-shaped signpost by the roadside, made of iron, with a security camera on it—those Umbrella bastards. Jill first gave the camera the middle finger, then shot it to pieces.
Having located the silo, Chris took a deep breath, put on the tactical goggles and gas mask made by the military, activated the ammunition display UID interface of the military optical sight, and said, "Let's go."
Ta-da… Ta-da…
Upon entering the village, one could hear low growls and faltering footsteps everywhere.
Chris's blue-gray eyes were fixed on the reflex scope on the Picatinny rail. The red dot brightness and edge sharpness far surpassed similar products on the market. He pointed the gun at a zombie approaching him, and bang! Headshot.
In response, his goggles and the low-light UID interface on the back of the sights synchronized, the number of bullets decreased by one, and the battery level was still marked as three-quarters full.
boom!Boom!
Even if the head of a BOW hunter with deformed, long lizard-like scales is hit, the full-power bullet of the new military-grade explosive doesn't need to create a cavity effect; the kinetic energy is enough to make it explode like a watermelon.
Bullet count: 0
Looking at the UID interface, Chris changed the magazine, then tapped a switch on the sight, 0→30.
I heard that the second-generation sight from the military science department is about to be launched. The next generation can not only display the number of bullets in the magazine, but also set the number of spare bullets, the number of grenades, and even synchronize with the magazine in real time, without having to reset it every time you change the ammunition.
Unfortunately, it's too expensive... Even the BSAA can't equip every operator with it.
Chris thought to himself.
Rat-a-tat-tat, bang! Bang bang!
The group were all experienced zombie fighters and naturally weren't afraid. They worked together seamlessly to cross the streets and head straight for the silos in the village. The village was small, and they arrived in no time.
Chris and Jill exchanged a glance.
Their teamwork was impeccable. The two proceeded cautiously, carefully navigating the chaotic silo area, destroying cameras and searching the rooms as they went. Finally, when they reached a locked room, they kicked it open!
"what--!"
A girl screamed, and at the same time Chris saw a male corpse sitting on the ground with bite marks on his arm, holding a pistol in his hand, and his head had been shot through.
It was suicide. Having witnessed so many tragedies caused by biological weapons, Chris instantly understood the whole story.
The girl looked at Chris, so excited she almost cried.
“It’s alright. Jill, take him and get out of here.” Chris reassured him, gesturing for Jill to lead the men away, while he himself searched for camera film and notebooks among the bodies of his BSAA comrades.
After a quick glance, just as he was becoming increasingly suppressed in his anger and preparing to investigate the logistics warehouse...
rustle--
"I didn't expect you to actually come. It wasn't for nothing that I specifically asked him to leak the news."
A gruff male voice came through the loudspeaker in the silo area.
"Should we call you foolish or brave? Let me introduce myself. I am Sergei Vladimir, Director of Security at Umbrella. Welcome to your hell, BSAA sirs."
"You wanted to investigate a new BOW deal, right? Now, please enjoy my masterpiece from Umbrella—"
"Talos the Tyrant".
Bang! !
Amidst the deafening explosion, the concrete wall not far from Chris was suddenly blasted down by a tremendous force, bricks and stones shattered and flew into the air, window glass shattered and frames flew out, and thick smoke billowed into the sky.
With a thunderous sound of footsteps, a huge, terrifying figure shrouded in metal armor stepped out from the dust.

Chapter 070 What about the second body? (4K3)
The walls were cracked, and dust and debris flew high into the air.
'Thump, thump...' The sound was like a heavy hammer striking an iron felt, crushing bricks and glass. Amidst the smoke and dust, the enormous, non-human figure appeared, slightly hunched over.
The experimental white, as if it hadn't been painted yet, had external metal armor fixed to his body in some kind of prosthetic implant. He wore armored shoes that covered the weak points of his ankles and calf joints, and had knee pads. His deformed arms, one large and one small, were nested with heavy arm armor based on engineering improvements.
What really sent chills down Chris's spine was the bizarre thing mounted on its ridiculously strong, even disproportionately thick body.
Behind him was a huge, refrigerator-like ammunition belt backpack. The two shoulder armors were incredibly thick and towering, reaching above his head. From right to left, they were mounted on a multi-barrel missile launcher, a rocket launcher, and a 20mm cannon.
Two soft straps connect directly from the ammunition belt backpack to the single-barreled machine gun on the left shoulder armor and the 7.62 mm M134 Gatling gun on the massive, deformed, mutated left arm armor.
"Oh, fuck!"
Without any hesitation, and with a refined and approachable greeting, Chris lunged forward.
Almost simultaneously, the Talos tyrant raised his mutated left arm, and the rapid-fire machine gun spun, spewing flames.
Da da da da da——
A hail of bullets struck the barracks entrance where Chris had just stood, shattering wood chips, sending glass flying, and sending concrete fragments flying everywhere. Even the male corpse lying inside the room was hit by several bullets, splattering blood all over the floor.
"Chris?!"
Hearing the noise, Jill's anxious voice came through Chris's earpiece.
"Don't look back! Jill, get the survivors out first!"
Chris jumped from the gatehouse steps, which were higher than the foundation, into the alley in the middle of the barracks. He took a hard fall, ignoring the rush of blood to his head and the burning pain in his forearm. He took the stun grenades and high-explosive grenades from his waist, pulled out the pins, estimated the location, and threw them.
Bang! Boom! "Roar—!" With a seemingly enraged, inhuman roar, Chris scrambled and rolled into the alley of the silo district, retreating away from the Talos tyrant's gun line.
He's too close to the other person right now; he needs to create some distance.
Out of the corner of his eye, Chris could see the cracks in the wall behind him spreading outwards in a radial pattern, with wood chips and bricks flying outwards like shrapnel.
Fortunately, it's a high-latitude, high-altitude region, where the building walls are built quite thickly... 'Bang bang bang bang...' The 20mm machine gun fired!
Damn! Chris swore he had used every ounce of his strength, moving at the fastest speed he had ever seen in his life through the narrow alleys and silo stairwells.
Every now and then, the walls he ran past would shatter with a loud crash, the sounds of gunfire and shrapnel from machine gun shells swirling together.
Sometimes rolling, sometimes jumping, Chris felt a burning sensation in his lungs and subconsciously reached up to wipe his forehead.
It was a viscous liquid mixed with sweat, dust, and blood. It might have been sawdust or gravel. He didn't know when it hit him, and he wasn't sure if his face was disfigured or his hand was injured.
"Huh...huh..."
Adjusting his breathing, Chris pressed the radio microphone and roared, "Barry, do you hear the commotion in the silo area? Take your men and back up! Prepare RPGs, bring out all your heavy weapons! BOW, the new BOW! Brad, go get the car and prepare to provide backup."
"I'm already moving it, it's assembled, I can see you... Holy crap! What the hell is this?! Is it a deformed hybrid of a bio-monster and a Terminator?"
"Chris, I've reached Jill and the survivors..."
Barry and Brad's voices came through the radio one after the other.
As a former Navy SEAL, Barry moved quickly. With two loud 'bangs', two RPGs were fired from the other side of the village's narrow street, flying over Chris's head and hurtling towards the emerging Talos Tyrant.
Two loud explosions rang out, sending thick smoke and flames soaring into the sky. The shockwave from the blasts shattered the windows of nearby buildings, causing Chris, who was behind the silo, to cover his ears in discomfort.
But he couldn't afford to stop. After blowing the heads off two zombie dogs that darted out from the corner, Chris pressed his earpiece as he ran, "Barry, it's not dead yet. Don't stay here, move to another spot..." He clearly saw that just as the two RPG shots were about to hit the Talos Tyrant that had just appeared, it dodged to the side!
Just as Chris was about to give a detailed account of the armaments carried by the Talos tyrant and the possible weaknesses he had observed at close range, in a flash—whoosh—
Chris saw a guided missile break through the smoke in the direction of the Talos Tyrant, rise up from the ground, leaving a curved trajectory, and then go straight towards the position where Barry had just fired his RPG!
"Barry, get out of the way!"
boom!
The missile exploded less than two meters from its position, billowing smoke from the roof of the two-story building. Unlaunched RPGs detonated, fireballs rose, beams snapped, and people thrown by the impact were torn to pieces in mid-air, their blood and limbs splattered everywhere.
Barry?! Barry? Damn it!
