Harry offered a word of comfort, when suddenly a chilling roar came from the next ward.

The door shattered, and a terrifying monster pounced on a passing patient.

"Wow!!"

"Ah! Help!"

"Pfft!!"

Blood splattered as the spider monster excitedly gnawed at the flesh.

This scene turned Mary Jane pale, and Gwen also struggled to suppress the urge to vomit.

Seeing that the spider monster hadn't noticed them, Harry gave a signal, and the three of them slowed down and carefully backed away.

Just as the three were about to leave the monster's sight, a scream rang out behind them.

"Ah!! What a terrifying monster!"

"Shh!"

The three quickly turned around and told Ned, who had suddenly appeared, to shut up.

But it was too late.

The spider monster turned its head, its eerie eyes staring straight at the four of them.

"What are you standing there for? Run!!" Ned's scream almost pierced the eardrums of the three of them.

The scream also attracted the nearby spider monsters.

Shadows flickered, and several spider monsters blocked the four people's path.

“Damn loudmouth.” Harry glared at Ned.

Ned looked completely innocent. "Sorry, I was just too scared."

However, the pounce of several spider monsters left Harry with no time to complain about Ned.

"Get down."

"boom!!"

Several pumpkin bombs were thrown out, and flames erupted all around. The violent heat wave overturned the attacking spider monster, and Ned, who was lying on the ground, screamed again.

"Oh, my ass!!"

A shard flew through the air and pierced Ned's skin, reopening the wound from the previous incident and causing it to bleed again.

"Sorry, we were a bit close, but thankfully we're alright."

Harry took the opportunity to escape with Mary Jane and Gwen.

Behind him was Ned, who was crouching and limping, clutching a part of his body.

Just then, another spider monster attacked. Its red and blue body swung over and kicked Ned in the butt, preventing him from being pounced on and torn apart by the monster.

"Oh!!! I'm going to die!!"

Ned, who had been kicked away, slid to the feet of Harry, the other two, and braked with his face, feeling utterly hopeless.

Harry's face lit up when he heard Spider-Man's voice.

"We are saved."

In narrow spaces, he is unable to utilize his strengths at all.

Thankfully, Spider-Man arrived in time.

“Oh, my hero.” Mary Jane cupped her face in her hands, her eyes sparkling.

Seeing this, Gwen couldn't help but ask in confusion, "Isn't your hero Charlotte?"

Mary Jane pouted, "Don't mention that guy, he hasn't come to see me yet."

What's most infuriating is that he actually sent you flowers; I'm never speaking to him again.

Upon hearing this, Harry instinctively turned his head away, feeling guilty, and didn't say anything.

As the spiderlings leaped onto the spider monsters' bodies one after another to absorb the mutated cells, several monsters finally reverted to human form.

After doing all this, Charlotte clapped her hands.

He looked at Harry and the others, "Are you all alright? Okay, I see, you're still alive."

“No, I’m going to die.” Ned, lying on the ground, raised his hand.

"He's close to death, but not dead yet."

Charlotte said, flicking her hand to plug Ned's wound with a colorful spider silk. "Alright, your bleeding has stopped."

"Thank you, Spider-Man."

Ned looked grateful, while Harry and the others glanced at the guy's incredibly conspicuous iridescent spider silk and silently turned their heads away.

They wanted to laugh, but that would be very impolite.

"How are you?"

Carter and his team arrived quickly, their bodies stained with black blood, clearly having killed quite a few spider monsters.

Natasha tapped her earpiece lightly. "Coulson has reported that there shouldn't be any more of these monsters in the vicinity."

"Who said that."

Without turning his head, Barton fired an arrow, which struck a spider monster on the ceiling.

"Wow!"

The monster that was shot fell to the ground and howled in pain, and the little spider pounced on it to absorb the mutated cells.

Carter and the others watched in astonishment as the monster reverted to human form, but they didn't ask any further questions.

Soon, Charlotte waved to Spider-Man.

"Chi Chi Chi"

He held the little spider and approached Mary Jane. "Give me your hand."

“What?” Mary Jane looked bewildered.

Charlotte explained, "Those monsters are mutated from mutants like you, and I suspect you'll soon become those monsters too."

"what?"

Mary Jane's face turned pale, and before she could ask any more questions, she saw a little spider crawl up her shoulder.

"Pfft!"

Two small tiger teeth pierced her skin, and Mary Jane instinctively struggled.

"No"

"Take a deep breath, it's normal to feel pain."

Charlotte restrained the struggling Mary Jane.

Mary Jane blinked. "It doesn't really hurt."

"Then what's your name?"

"Instinctive reaction."

Three seconds later, Spider-Man jumped into Gwen's palm.
