Let's restart, Spider-Man!

Don't tell me, it's quite interesting.

Charlotte was engrossed in reading the free newspaper.

Time ticked by, but Matt still hadn't returned.

"Hey~"

Suddenly, the air hissed, and Charlotte turned her head to avoid a glint of cold light.

"puff!"

A black dart shaped like a four-pointed star embedded itself in the low wall. Charlotte turned around and saw a red figure flash across the rooftop not far away.

"Spider-Man, things have changed, I need your help."

Matt's voice came through the window, and there he was, holding a petite figure in his arms. He barely dodged the shuriken as he moved around, occasionally drawing a short stick from his leg to repel the sneaky shadows.

Seeing this, Charlotte flicked her wrist and launched a spider silk that pulled Matt's figure in front of her.

"Weren't you going to change into your battle suit? What, you didn't pay for the clothes and that's why you're being chased?" Charlotte teased.

Matt was slightly out of breath, but still refused to let go of the woman in his arms.

“My friend is being hunted down by them, and I can’t watch her get killed.”

Charlotte glanced at the woman in the other man's arms. "Girlfriend?"

"Ex-girlfriend." Matt's half-hood couldn't hide the nervousness on his face.

Charlotte sighed, "Alright, Hell's Kitchen Casanova, watch closely, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is about to make his appearance."

He turned around and saw several figures flashing in the moonlight under the cover of night. The next second, they seemed to appear from all directions as if they had teleported, quickly surrounding and attacking the three of them.

“They are ninjas, from an evil organization,” Matt explained.

Charlotte clapped her hands. "I've only ever watched Naruto."

As soon as he finished speaking, the surrounding shadowy figures suddenly unleashed a dense barrage of darts.

"shhhhhh"

With a flash of cold light, the space where the three of them were located was instantly enveloped by the sharpness of the shuriken.

"careful!"

Matt gripped his short stick tightly, ready to parry the barrage of shuriken.

Charlotte simply tossed Matt and the other man aside, then leaped and twisted her body.

In mid-air, the spinning motion was elegant and graceful, but the dense shuriken all struck the red and blue body without exception.

"Dang Dang Dang Dang~"

In an instant, a dense burst of sparks erupted. Charlotte landed in the familiar Black Widow pose, casually scratching her butt.

Not far away, Matt listened intently, his keen senses sketching out the scene before him.

"What's the point of you doing this?" he asked.

Charlotte stood up. "So handsome!"

The next second, several masked ninjas, wielding kunai, closed in on them.

"Groan!!"

The figures of the ninjas flashed and darted about, dazzling the eye in the moonlight.

To this, Charlotte could only say...

"Fancy."

With a flick of his wrist, artificial spider silk bursts forth, causing phantoms to vanish wherever the silk passes, and ninjas hidden in the shadows are locked onto by the silk.

"Nani?"

Amidst cries of alarm, the spider silk unleashed a terrifying dragging force, the irresistible power carrying the ninjas' figures as they crashed against the low wall.

"boom!!"

"Bang bang."

Bricks flew through the air, and the group of ninjas coughed up blood, but the spider silk once again unleashed tremendous force.

"boom!!"

"Rumble"

After several swings, the group of ninjas were completely rendered motionless by the repeated blows.

The rooftop was a mess. Matt walked over and saw that the ninja in the spider silk had turned into a puddle of mud.

Clearly, their bones had been completely shattered by the impact.

“I’ve heard Spider-Man rarely kills,” he said, standing up.

Charlotte clapped her hands. "Stop listening to these unreliable gossip news."

They're just some insignificant extras; this is the only outcome for those who don't make it to the revival round.

"Who are they, and why are they hunting down your ex-girlfriend?" he asked.

Matt looked down at the woman, his expression complex.

"She was also one of Kingpin's assassins, and this matter may be related to Kingpin."

"King is not capable of sending assassins to hunt down your ex-girlfriend right now."

Charlotte said, lying back down in the spiderweb hammock.

"Your task is not yet complete."

"You can do it yourself now."

"No, if I take action, it will be over quickly. You are different. You are so weak, it will definitely waste some time."

Matt: "."

"Okay, I'll go."

He left his ex-girlfriend there, saying, "Please take care of her for me. I'll be back soon."

"Don't worry, I'd be happy to take care of someone else's girlfriend."

After Matt left, Charlotte finally took a good look at her "ex-girlfriend".

Daredevil's ex-girlfriend, and Kingpin's assassin.

Erica?

That should be correct.

As an assassin in the Marvel universe, he certainly doesn't wear much clothing.

A red tube top paired with super short shorts, plus several red leggings, in the same color scheme as Daredevil.

His features were somewhat masculine; he wasn't Charlotte's type.

But you can still get it while it's hot if you grit your teeth.

So Charlotte squatted down, helped her up, and pinched Erica's philtrum.

"Uh-huh~"

Erica soon woke up to a pair of inverted triangular eyes emitting a pale blue light, which immediately triggered her instinctive reaction.

"Om~"

The short sword on his leg wrappings was drawn, but Charlotte easily dodged it by tilting his head.

Before she could make any further moves, Charlotte reached out and snatched the short sword from the other woman.

"Oh my god, you actually attacked Spider-Man, the neighbor? Do you want me to punch you to death?"

With that, Charlotte used her spider silk to bind the other person, then continued to lie in the hammock.

"Matt sent me to rescue you. Tell me, who are the guys chasing you?" he asked.

When Matt was mentioned, Erica shuddered, recalling her ex-boyfriend whom she had met before she fell into a coma.

Now look at the guy in front of me.

She knew it was Spider-Man.

The boss's enemy.

But not her enemy.

Erica will remain wary of superheroes.

But she thinks Spider-Man is someone she can talk to.

Within the underground world, few people would associate Spider-Man with superheroes.

Because superheroes don't rob thugs' wallets.

“It’s the Hand, an international assassin organization. They want to use me to get information about Kingpin. Their target is Hell’s Kitchen,” she said.

Charlotte shook her head. "Please tell the truth. After all, you're just Matt's ex-girlfriend."

Erica's expression shifted slightly. "How do you know I wasn't telling the truth?"

"Beautiful women are the best at deceiving people."

Erica: "."

“That’s an interesting statement. Who said it?” she asked.

Charlotte shrugged. “A great mother.”

Erica was silent for a moment, then said, "Actually, I was a member of the Hand, but I had a conflict with their ideology, so I escaped and became Kingpin's assassin because of some things."

They're here to hunt me down, and incidentally to get involved in the chaos in Hell's Kitchen. Kingpin's forces are a huge pie, and many factions want a piece of it; I'm not lying to you about that.

Charlotte nodded. "Thank you for your honesty. Once Matt returns, you can leave with him."

"is it?"

Erica stared at Spider-Man with a strange look in her eyes.
