Let's restart, Spider-Man!

Charlotte: "."
"Should his castle be confiscated?"
"No."
Carter's eyes were mocking. "You rascal, their castle was built up over generations. What are you thinking?"
"what a pity."
Charlotte sighed, "Felicia is still a rich woman, and I'm not happy about that."
“In order to free Walter, Felicia has agreed to join the Thunder Special Forces,” Carter added.
Upon hearing this, Charlotte clapped her hands.
"Impressive, impressive. No wonder you're the current commander of S.H.I.E.L.D. Compared to you, bald head looks like shit."
"No need for comparisons, I know you're praising me," Carter quickly told Charlotte to stop.
Charlotte breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay, thank goodness you stopped me. After all, I hadn't figured out how to describe you yet."
Carter: "."
She became somewhat depressed when Nick Fury was mentioned.
"I thought that guy would only be able to pick cotton after losing his job, but I was wrong. He had already made plans."
She asked Charlotte, "Do you know about the Heavenly Sword Bureau?"
I added over twenty extra days of updates last month, so I should have finished making up for the missed updates.
No extra chapters tonight. Tomorrow I'll calculate how much the average subscriptions increased last month, and then I can continue with extra chapters.
Chapter 182 Avengers Rookie Examiner
Charlotte's eyes widened slightly. "So this thing really exists?"
"It seems you already knew."
Carter shook his head. "I learned about the Sky Sword Bureau through some special channels."
She got up and went to the French windows, looking down at the group of agents below, and continued.
"Initially, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s functions did not include handling serious incidents of superpowered crimes. The agents' tasks were only to be responsible for the global intelligence system and to handle international disputes."
However, with the formation of the Avengers, Nick Fury gradually shifted his focus to supernatural crimes.
“We’ve taken the wrong turn,” Charlotte said.
Cardi nodded. "Yes, that's why S.H.I.E.L.D. agents have such heavy workloads and urgently need to expand their manpower, which gave Hydra an opportunity to take advantage of the situation."
"Um, actually S.H.I.E.L.D. was infiltrated a long time ago," Charlotte reminded him.
Carter's expression remained unchanged. "That's not important. What's important is that S.W.O.R.D.'s functions overlap to some extent with S.H.I.E.L.D. They not only handle superpower incidents on Earth, but also seem to have the authority to deal with extraterrestrial incidents."
"so what?"
Charlotte sized up Carter's retreating figure. "Actually, I think the commander of S.H.I.E.L.D. is already quite good. You don't need to extend your reach to S.W.O.R.D."
Carter was a power-hungry man, and he understood this long ago.
Carter turned around, his gaze sharp.
“I’m not interested in S.W.O.P., but I’m curious about Nick Fury’s friend.”
"What do you mean?" Charlotte asked.
Carter's tone was enigmatic, "After taking control of S.H.I.E.L.D., I accessed Nick Fury's old files and discovered that he was very different back then compared to now."
Simply put, something's off about him, much like the feeling I got from Steve back then.
Even though you once said that Nick Fury's friends aren't bad people, good people can do bad things if Nick Fury is acting strangely.
Upon hearing this, Charlotte understood.
"What you said makes a lot of sense, but he hasn't shown any weakness yet, so we can only try to be on guard."
Besides, in this situation, you don't have time to keep an eye on the bald guy.
"Yes, I'm very busy and don't have time."
Carter exhaled. "Just a heads-up about that guy."
She looked down at the party scene. "I've investigated these four newcomers. They're still a long way from becoming true Avengers. After all, their emotions aren't always stable."
I've been giving them special training for a while, but the results don't seem to be very good.
Charlotte stepped forward and stood beside Carter. He glanced at Johnny's bright white teeth and raised an eyebrow.
"What do you want to do?" he asked.
“We’ll conduct assessments on the new recruits, and if they really can’t handle the job, then we’ll have to move them to the reserve team,” Carter said.
Charlotte's lips twitched. "We've already held a welcome ceremony for the new members. It would be embarrassing if they were relegated to the reserve team."
Carter shrugged. “No pressure, no motivation. As I handle more and more issues, I have little time left for them to grow. They have to learn to stand on their own.”
“Okay, busy man, you’re telling me all this, so this matter will definitely be left to me, right?” Charlotte guessed.
"Yes."
Carter laughed, "The examiners are Spider-Man, I think they'll be convinced."
"no problem."
Charlotte turned around and took out a juice from the small refrigerator under the table.
"You know I can handle things with confidence, but this is a different task, and it will cost extra."
Carter then went to the side and poured himself a cup of coffee.
"Of course, I'm not Nick Fury. I have money, lots of it."
She took a sip of her coffee and then looked at Charlotte with curiosity.
"But I'm curious, since I met you, I've given you quite a bit of money here and there, plus the hush money you got from Tony, you're actually quite wealthy, but you still seem to be short of money. Why is that?"
Charlotte shrugged. "Remember that big bald guy?"
"I remember, Professor X, a very terrifying superhuman, no, he should be called a mutant."
"He used the dragon bone fossil to amplify his brain and told me a lot of the secrets of this world, so I planned to use that money to eliminate Spider-Man's enemies, and I have been doing that all this time."
"Use money to eliminate the enemy?"
Carter blinked. "I don't quite understand."
Charlotte grinned. "If you want to know, just give me some funding for this operation, and I'll give you a big surprise."
Carter rolled his eyes. "Using my money to do your thing, that's a great idea of yours, something I should learn from."
"That's just how the world is."
Charlotte poured a second glass of juice and continued, "You'll be impressed when you see the results of my work."
"I'll see."
"So when does the new employee assessment begin?"
"I'm ready, we can start tonight."
Carter said, "You also need to be prepared for everything to go according to the script."
Charlotte thought for a moment, "To make it more interesting, I'd like to invite that guy along."
"Who?"
"You know."

10 p.m., Brooklyn Bridge.
Inside the armored truck, Wade changed into shorts and a tank top, wearing a stocking hood and looking excited.
"OMG! A top-tier superhero playing a robber? You actually came up with this kind of awesome game? You're a fucking genius!"
He gave a thumbs-up in praise.
“But Spider-Man, your style doesn’t quite match mine. Are you sure you didn’t do it on purpose?” he asked.
Opposite him, Charlotte had changed into a black suit, put on sunglasses, held an electromagnetic gun, and had a cold expression.
“Thugs should wear suits; it will make them seem very intimidating,” he said.
Wade looked down at his extremely casual outfit and said defiantly, "I also want to change into a suit."
"No, you are my subordinate, that doesn't fit your character."
"No! I must change into a suit."
"Then I'll kick you out. You didn't even pass the interview. Letting you experience being an examiner for the Avengers is already a blessing from God."
"Just an assistant examiner!"
"You're not satisfied with just two more words than the examiner?"
"I'm satisfied!"
Wade gritted his teeth, then silently squatted in the corner and drew circles.
Charlotte didn't pay any attention. He tapped his earpiece lightly, "Agent Hill, everything is ready. We can begin."
"clear."
Inside the van on the bridge, Agent Hill asked Coulson, "How are things going on your end?"
Coulson nodded. "Our people are all around the armored truck, and all sorts of measures have been prepared in advance."
"Very good, let's begin!"
Agent Hill raised the communicator. "Dr. Reed, your mission is to subdue the robbers in the armored truck, but you must not harm any nearby civilians. As for the property you damage, it will affect your assessment score. Do you all understand?"
Inside the helicopter above the bridge, Reed said solemnly, "Understood."
"Okay, let's get started!"
