"I don't know."

Reed racked his brains, but couldn't remember which time it was.

Then, everyone heard Ben's loud laughter.

"Haha, the time you almost peed your pants from being scared by Dr. Banner."

He glared at Ben in the video with a dark expression. "You don't need to remind me of this kind of thing."

"No, the commander's question must be answered properly, without any concealment."

"You idiot."

"You little piece of trash, how dare you insult me! I challenge you to a duel!!"

The two exchanged insults, which Carter found extremely annoying, so he decisively shut down the communication.

These guys are so unreliable; we couldn't get any useful clues out of them.

However, it can be determined that something happened to Reed on the island where Dr. Banner lived.

She looked up and met Charlotte's gaze.

“I will handle this myself, but the soul magic must be kept secret, otherwise the Skrulls will become wary.”

After Charlotte finished speaking, she raised her hand and drew a magic portal, her figure disappearing into the circle of magical sparks.

Reed looked on with envy. "That's so convenient!"

Carter, however, seemed to have an idea.

"Shit, Dr. Banner has been brought back. He must have gone to that island."

-

A small island at sea.

"Huhu~~"

Under the blazing sun and with the sea breeze blowing, Charlotte, perched atop the mountain, gazed at the distant horizon and felt a sense of exhilaration.

He opened his arms to embrace nature.

How fresh the air is, how beautiful the world is!

After completing her self-hypnosis, Charlotte turned and headed towards the laboratory on the island.

He planned to give Dr. Banner a surprise.

So he found a secluded place to stay, while his soul drifted towards the wooden house on the island.

However, he soon realized that something was wrong.

The ethereal soul passed through the wooden floor and disappeared directly into the underground laboratory.

But the laboratory has now been transformed into a huge underground base.

“Strange, Dr. Banner doesn’t seem like such a extravagant person.”

Charlotte frowned and continued deeper into the underground base.

Carter's massive investment in Banner's labs seems to have been misdirected.

The underground base extends all the way to the seabed, and within the transparent energy shield, rows of mechanical production lines come into view.

"Kaka."

"Woooooo~~"

Fragmented and cumbersome mechanical parts are sent to the assembly plant through production lines.

Here, Charlotte saw the familiar Mark armor.

"This is?"

Charlotte's heart skipped a beat; he seemed to have discovered the armored legion that Charles had mentioned.

Before them, rows of Mark armors were neatly arranged in the warehouse, and green-skinned Skrulls were installing remote control systems on the armors.

"Boom~"

At the underwater test site, two unmanned combat suits, controlled by the Skrulls, clashed in a fierce battle, with explosions and bursts of fire constantly erupting.

Meanwhile, in the command center not far away, several green-clad figures were discussing something.

"Has Dr. Banner been found?"

"We've sent people out to look for him, but we still haven't heard from him."

"Damn it, if he goes back to S.H.I.E.L.D."

"No, we disguised ourselves as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and attacked him. He must be completely disillusioned with S.H.I.E.L.D. now, he won't go back."

"What I mean is, if he wants to retaliate against S.H.I.E.L.D., then our people will definitely be exposed."

"Impossible. We copied his memories. He can only control his anger. He can't vent his dissatisfaction without restraint. He can't control the thing inside him."

"So much the better."

"Haha, we also have to thank Dr. Banner. If it weren't for him, Captain Carter wouldn't have spent so much money to help us build the Iron Man armor."

"Yes, although she didn't have a lot of money, she helped us lay the foundation."

"Most importantly, no one would expect us to be here."

"Yes, we're about to succeed. Once our people take care of Carter, S.H.I.E.L.D. will be ours."

"Haha, I can't wait! It's a pity Spider-Man is back. We couldn't gain control of S.H.I.E.L.D. before Spider-Man was resurrected."

"It's okay, Spider-Man is still having a headache over the mutants!"

"The leader of the mutants is a troublesome guy; those wretched bugs might not be a match for him."

"If Spider-Man dies again, we will have enough time to seize control of the world, and by then, the end of mutants will be over."

"Wait, there's news from over there."

"Quick, see what it is."

"S.H.I.E.L.D.'s nano-vibranium has been stolen; it was the material intended for Spider-Man's suit."

"Some greedy guy must have stolen the nano-vibranium."

"The guy impersonating Tony was just caught by S.H.I.E.L.D., so they're bound to suspect us."

"Hehe, they won't be able to find us, don't worry."

A group of Skrulls were discussing their next plan.

Unbeknownst to them, in the corner, a phantom head peered through the wall, observing everything.

"Carter's money was used to fund the enemy?" He was speechless.

The unmanned combat suits here have reached a considerable scale, with nearly three hundred sets, and are quite valuable.

Tony provided the technology, and Carter provided the funding.

The Skrulls, on the other hand, provided the productive forces.

Well, none of this has anything to do with Spider-Man.

So Carter really made a killing this time.

The prerequisite is that we can retrieve this unmanned battle suit.

Charlotte decides to act as a middleman.

With that thought, his soul quickly floated up to the ground and returned to his body.

"Om~"

The portal opened, and Charlotte stepped into it.

When Carter returned to S.H.I.E.L.D., his office was empty.

He left his office and found Agent Hill.

Where is Carter?

"She went to see Dr. Banner."

"Dr. Banner."

Charlotte narrowed her eyes slightly. "I understand."

Based on the information revealed by the Skrulls, it's not hard to guess that the current Dr. Banner is an imposter.

Hopefully, Carter will keep his mouth shut.

Otherwise, he would kill them to silence them.

With that thought in mind, he went to Dr. Banner's laboratory.

"Hey, Dr. Banner, how are you doing?" Charlotte waved and greeted him.

When he met Spider-Man, Dr. Banner's smile was full of the honesty and simplicity of a kind person; he didn't reveal any flaws.

"Hey Spider-Man, nice to see you again."

The two greeted each other, and Carter, standing to the side, held up the green potion in his hand, looking on with curiosity.

"Is this the result of your research?" she asked Banner.

Banner nodded. "Yes, I have destroyed Hulk's consciousness. As long as I take this drug, I will regain Hulk's power, but without losing control."

Carter was pleasantly surprised to hear this.

"The funds I gave you have finally paid off."

Charlotte, standing to the side, murmured, "Yes, the rewards are very generous, it's definitely worth it."

Banner scratched his head sheepishly, "I have to thank Captain Carter for his help. If it were Nick Fury, he definitely wouldn't have had the money to help me."

"Yes, he's a penniless wretch, only fit to work as a cotton fluffer."

As Charlotte spoke, he took the potion from Carter's hand.

"Now that the Hulk is gone, Dr. Banner, let's continue our unfinished battle!"
