Outside the window was an endless expanse of black, a dense, slanting drizzle, and an endless path; the occasional muffled gunshots indicated that this was not a safe night.

Upon entering the luxury suite, Tony Stark took off his wool coat and called his secretary into the room.

"How is Peter Parker now?"

He had been keeping an eye on Peter's whereabouts.

He already knew that Peter was Spider-Man.

What was happening in the copper mine made it impossible for him not to pay attention to Peter.

Peter had disappeared for several days, and he had been having people investigate what had happened and where Peter had gone.

"Sir, we just received news that he has returned."

"Hmm, it's getting late now. Remember to remind me to call him tomorrow."

Tony nodded.

His gaze drifted through the window to his "neighbor," just across the street, to the Stark Group's research center located there.

In addition to selling weapons, he also made a special trip to inspect the research center there.

The black, cone-shaped skyscraper stands tall in the city center, resembling a glass-covered bullet or an upright cigar, with a design that exudes a futuristic and sci-fi feel.

The Stark Research Center building stands out starkly from the surrounding low, old buildings, like a modern person abruptly intruding into a group of ancient people, extremely incongruous.

Tony Stark gave his secretary an instruction and went outside.

I had only taken two steps when I heard footsteps behind me.

“Mr. Stark, please wait a moment.”

Tony Stark turned around and saw the staff member in charge of his itinerary walking quickly toward him.

"Mr. Stark, there's a restaurant downstairs that offers late-night snacks. Would you like to try it?"

The staff asked him.

"Never mind, although I'd love to try some local African food, unfortunately I have some things to take care of tonight."

Tony Stark gave a regretful look.

After Tony left, the staff immediately took out their communicators.

"He has gone to the research center and can now proceed."

In the drizzling night sky, a dark shadow suddenly flashed by.

The enormous glider, like the wings of a dragon, spread out and swept across the chilly night.

A dark shadow shot out a grappling hook, which snagged on the metal frame on the top floor of the research center and swung towards it.

Under the heavy rain, the dark figure flapped its wings and flew to the top of the building, which was over forty meters tall, in just a few breaths.

Standing on the edge of the top floor, looking down, the entire city is spread out before your eyes.

Black raindrops fell on the shadowy figure's clothes, trickling down the lines of the fabric before silently splashing onto the ground.

The black clothes, washed by the rain, appeared even darker and shinier, making him look like a black statue in the night.

After receiving news that Tony Stark had arrived, the shadowy figure immediately infiltrated the building.

New York, forest hills.

Peter was discussing with Gwen about rescuing the little rascal.

Suddenly, the news on television reported that Tony Stark had been kidnapped in Africa.

"Kidnapped? By terrorists?"

Peter found the two words somewhat familiar.

Has this guy been kidnapped again?!

Chapter 239 Green Goblin Gwen

The news on television was still reporting on Tony Stark's whereabouts being unknown.

"Stark Industries claims that its research facility in Mali was attacked by terrorists and that Tony Stark was kidnapped."

Peter watched the overwhelming news broadcasts on television and sat down on the sofa.

Gwen asked curiously, "Is he really missing?"

"Hmm, do you have a different opinion, Gwen?"

"I don't know, but I don't think this guy is that fragile, after all, he's gone missing more than once."

Gwen had also heard some news about the billionaire.

"Didn't the last news report say that he used a single-beam energy sword to break through an avalanche on Mount Everest that seemed impossible to escape?"

Gwen shrugged. "And what about that time he assembled an expedition at the copper mine? Didn't he get stabbed in the chest and almost die?"

"Yes, this guy is lucky to be alive."

Peter felt that this guy wouldn't die easily.

Perhaps being captured by terrorists this time will be the opportunity for him to become Iron Man.

Although the universe I live in is not the MCU universe, it shouldn't be a big problem.

After all, he had never heard of a female Iron Man or a black Iron Man suddenly appearing here.

Since no one has yet replaced Tony Stark as Iron Man, it means that the title of Iron Man should still belong to him.

“Reed would be happy to see Tony Stark kidnapped.”

Peter said to Gwen.

"why?"

He believed that Tony Stark was not a good person, especially after meeting Iron Man from the multiverse.

Peter tells Gwen about Mr. Fantastic's belief that Tony Stark is "Big Fart Swallow."

Of course, for the sake of harmony, he still omitted such vulgar words.

"Maybe Iron Man in the multiverse is a villain."

Gwen shared her guess.

"not sure."

Peter gave an ambiguous reply.

He was about to say something when he suddenly received a call from Reed.

After exchanging a few words and hanging up the phone, Peter said to Gwen, "Reed said the dimensional portal is now usable."

"Are we going to the universe where Little Rascal was abandoned?"

Gwen blinked and asked.

"Hmm, after all, we can't leave her there forever."

"Then when do we set off?"

Peter looked out at the blinding morning sunlight. "Now."

"call!"

The wind howled in my ears.

The moment Gwen emerged from the dimensional portal, she found herself in mid-air.

The silhouette of the city appeared before her eyes.

The horizon and billboards gave her an unusually familiar feeling.

Then, under the acceleration of gravity, Gwen's body plummeted downwards.

"I hate gravity!"

Gwen complained as she fell downwards.

"Whoosh!"

At the critical moment, she shot out spider silk from her wrist towards the building next to her.

The spider silk clung tightly to it, and Gwen swung down into the alley.

She had taken the isotopes Peter gave her and had temporarily regained her spider abilities.

However, perhaps because she had regained her superpowers and was still not used to them, her body crashed heavily onto a balcony high up in a building, and then tumbled and fell down.

"what!"

Just as Gwen thought her head was hitting the ground, Peter suddenly caught her.

"Whoosh!"

Peter shot out a web and landed on the ground with a terrified Gwen in his arms.

Gwen touched her head and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Thanks, Peter, I thought I was going to land face down."

As she spoke, she looked around at the buildings.

There was a Coke bottle lying on the ground. Gwen picked it up, saw the name "Bobo Coke" on it, and scratched her head.

"Peter, what brand of cola is this? Have you heard of it?"

Peter took the Coke bottle from Gwen and shook his head. "No, it's probably the Coke brand from this world."

"Ok."

Gwen shrugged and threw the Coke bottle in her hand into the trash can.

"I wonder if Tony Stark and Reed Richards exist in this world."

Peter said to Gwen, "If they're here, it would be good to find them; these people are always well-informed."

Gwen took off her spider costume and put on the hood.
