Chapter 241 Hermione Granger, Dragon Knight Limited Edition

That dragon was larger than any of the previous fire dragons, even several times larger than Smaug, who lived a life of luxury in the Forbidden Forest.

Its scales were a shiny silver-gray, and it was a true knight dragon. Nietzsche saw it being pulled in by all the dragon tamers, its wings slightly spread to the sides, and several of the dragon tamers were hitting it, causing William to scream.

With that kind of tonnage, the mere act of landing would be enough to crush a house to dust.

“The Ukrainian Iron Belly…a fully grown Iron Belly once swept away a ship in a storm in the Black Sea.” Ludo Bagman’s lips trembled. “It was 70 feet long and weighed a full 8 tons…”

The commotion as they entered caused the wizards in the front rows of the audience to shrink back.

"If it goes berserk, how can this makeshift arena stop it?" Warrington muttered Merlin's name as he made the sign of the cross.

The arena suddenly became much quieter, as if they were all afraid of disturbing this Ukrainian iron-bellied player.

This was the 'iron cavalry' Hermione was facing. Nietzsche stood alone at the front of the audience, his hands gripping the railing tightly, staring intently at the tent entrance... With Bagman's shout, Hermione emerged from the dead silence.

Hermione could feel that everyone's eyes were fixed on her.

The warriors who came before had already completed their missions, and only she remained. Hundreds and thousands of faces watched her from the stands that had been erected overnight, all hoping for a miracle.

At the other end of the field, the Ukrainian Iron Belly, with its round body, stood like an unshakeable chariot blocking the golden egg and slowly advanced towards Hermione.

She raised her grapevine wand, its strong dragon heartstrings pointing towards the sky...

"Is she planning to use some powerful magic?" Ludo Bagman immediately guessed the moment he saw her raise her hand. "Miss Granger is a gifted fighter, but I don't recommend going head-to-head with Iron Stomach."

While the suggestion is good, what other options are there?

The Ukrainian Iron Belly is ruthless by nature, so it naturally wouldn't aim to protect the golden egg like other fire dragons.

"Taking advantage of its size, it launched the first attack on Granger!" Bagman screamed anxiously. "Get out of the way! It's doomed, Granger seems too scared to move..."

But is that really the case?

Hermione watched as the Ukrainian Iron Belly, kicking up dust, approached her, glancing out of the corner of her eye at the white sky.

Just as the fire dragon was about to smash her into a bloody pulp with its massive body, another roar came from above the arena. Smaug was here. She swooped down at an extremely fast speed and, at the moment of landing, stepped on the Ukrainian Iron Belly with her hind legs.

"Bang!!" The sound of flesh colliding with flesh was very dull, and it sounded powerful just by listening to it.

However, even with this speed and gravity, Ukraine's iron belly was only kicked open.

"Another fire dragon? A Norwegian Ridgeback? A fire dragon wearing armor!" Bagman could no longer contain himself; he gripped his wand and roared out.

Nietzsche also became agitated, and he shook the fence violently out of control.

Come on, let him see their partnership... see their chemistry...

Hermione waved her wand, flicking a blue lightsaber, and with a backflip, landed lightly on the back of the Norwegian Spinosaurus. Her left hand then grabbed the rope wrapped around the wooden breastplate, stabilizing her balance.

The strong wind blew her brown curly hair back, revealing the chocolate-colored eyes.

Her heart was filled with determination.

Fleur stared at the dashing Hermione, somewhat mesmerized... Who wouldn't love a warrior riding a dragon?

Karkaroff, standing on the referee's bench, jumped to his feet, pointed at Hermione, and shouted, "She fouled!"

"What rule did you break?" Bagman, whose commentary had been interrupted, was somewhat displeased and gave the other person a reproachful look.

"She accepted help from others."

"Who?"

The question is, whose help did Hermione receive?

This is a fire dragon, and judging from the magical runes engraved on the yakini wood armor, it was clearly prepared in advance, yet there is no evidence to suggest that she cheated.

"This... a warrior can only rely on his own wand!" Karkaroff slammed his fist on the table, his beard bristling and eyes wide with anger.

This made Grindelwald, who was sitting next to the referee's table, touch his knuckles and look at him coldly.

“Yeah, Granger used a wand, didn’t she?” Ludo Bagman waved his hand impatiently. “Maybe it was some kind of summoning magic, which is normal and not against the rules… She didn’t accept help from anyone.”

"But the fire dragon..."

“If that’s how you’re going to calculate it, then Cedric’s previous foul was also a foul, since the flying broomstick was also summoned.”

What is courage?

That's what you call guts!

Compared to Hermione, the previous champions were nothing. Even if she lost this match, she would still earn the respect of the audience. Even Krum, who was at odds with Hogwarts, couldn't find any reason to smear her.

Fire dragons collided, and lightsabers sparked against the ancient magic contained within their scales.

Each time the claws of the Ukrainian Iron-Bellied Armored Beast gripped Smaug, the golden magic runes on the hickory wood would flash, deflecting the attack and repelling it backward...

Smaug, who has been granted knowledge by the centaurs, will also press down on his opponent with his front paws, stand on his hind legs, and then breathe fire mouth to mouth.

Female Norwegian Spinosaurus were far more ferocious than males.

Whether male or female, Hermione was like a dragon knight from a fairy tale in their eyes; she held a lance, led the reins, and fought alongside her companions. Unfortunately...

“They should switch Nietzsche and the golden egg,” Lavender said, standing on the high ground and looking down at Nietzsche, who was jumping up excitedly.

The witches beside them nodded their heads like chickens pecking at rice.

In fairy tales, knights and princesses are a much better match!

With each swing of Hermione's sword, purple lightning flashed from the magic of war, and as Smaug deftly circled the Ukrainian Iron Belly, she felt as light as a feather, faster than riding a horse.

The clumsy Ukrainian fire dragon was completely disoriented, and every time it missed its target, it would be lashed. Cracks began to appear on its silver-gray scales as Hermione and Smaug intensified their attacks.

"Ukraine's iron will is wearing thin... If I'm not mistaken, it seems to be starting to feel fear..."

"Do you understand what I mean? A female fire dragon protecting the golden egg has started to retreat! This is very unusual. Granger has been driving it back, and that Norwegian Ridgeback is pressing its advantage, not giving it any chance to breathe."

Ludo Bagman's commentary echoed in Nietzsche's ears as he watched the man and the dragon on the sidelines, feeling a pang of unease.

It's such a shame, Smaug's first time was with Hermione...

Oh, he was referring to their first time fighting side-by-side.

"Protect the Armor!" Hermione cast an armor spell on the Norwegian Ridgeback beneath her, and then they charged straight at the crumbling Ukrainian Iron Belly.

After the final charge, only a panting Smaug and Hermione, standing on the dragon's back, remained conscious.

She strode over the massive body of the Ukrainian Iron Belly as if it were merely a collapsed obstacle, and when the golden egg was raised, it was as if Merlin had turned on the volume control button for the entire arena.

People were shouting and cheering, and they used their magic wands to conjure up many flowers, which they threw down from all sides.

Hermione didn't leave immediately. Instead, she rode on Smaug's wings to the audience and excitedly hugged Nietzsche, who was always at the front.

"I did it!!" She could hardly contain her joy at defeating the fire dragon, and her hair was sticky with sweat on her face.

The flowers changed their landing point as she moved, and the two were bathed in petals.

"Congratulations." Nietzsche was caught off guard by the unexpected hug and his heart skipped a beat.

He suddenly felt... he was about to become Watson.

Chapter 242 The Rules That Had to Be Readjusted

On the night the first project concluded perfectly, the Great Hall erupted in celebration, with even Slytherins joining in the festivities... after all, Hogwarts' honor is Slytherin's honor.

However, in terms of ratings, only Dumbledore, Bagman, and Crouch gave full marks, while Karkaroff and Mrs. Maxim gave several low scores. But overall, Hermione still maintained her first place.

When Harry and Cedric walked in, cheers erupted once again.

They struggled to pull the fireworks out of the sky, sending them flying everywhere, but even so, no professor stepped in to stop them; all the professors except Snape wore smiles on their faces...

“I want to put this photo on the bulletin board in the Gryffindor common room forever!” Colin Crevey waved the photo in his hand.

Hermione looked triumphant on the screen, surrounded by flames and lightning of war magic.

Hermione was surrounded by wizards, busy signing autographs for them, with the golden dragon egg placed in front of her. Since the second project wasn't scheduled to start until February, she wasn't in a hurry to solve the mystery right away.

At that moment, the referee's table entered, with Bagman carrying a wine bottle in one hand and Crouch's neck with the other.

“A fantastic three-way battle, even more exciting than the Irish Quidditch final,” Ludo Bagman said drunkenly to them. “But to be fair, we have to remove your dragon… Miss Granger.”

This is indeed not very fair to others, since not everyone can raise a fire dragon.

This outcome was within Nietzsche's expectations, but it wasn't exactly bad news, since the Norwegian Ridgeback was merely a means for him to ensure his safety.

"So... does that mean the subsequent events won't be as dangerous as the first one?" Ron guessed.

At the banquet celebrating Hogwarts' temporary lead, Nietzsche also saw several acquaintances: Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

They must have been invited by Dumbledore; upon seeing him and Harry, they hurried over, wine glasses in hand.

“Professor Dumbledore told me about your achievements,” Lupin said softly, glancing sideways at the head table. “Harry, who would have thought... you could now face a dragon all by yourself?”

Lupin and Sirius are much fuller than last year, no longer so skinny.

The two men stood on either side of Harry, each with a hand on his shoulder, like family members protecting their child. As a result, Harry looked more composed and straightened up.

“Remus has been living at my house since he left school…and the reason we’re here is…” Blake winked mysteriously with his right eye.

“For you, Harry, we are here as your parents at the Triwizard Tournament.” Lupin smiled faintly. “However, it seems we’ve come at a bad time; we’ve just arrived and already heard bad news.”

Sirius then turned his head and looked at Karkaroff in the main seat with disgust.

“He hasn’t changed…” he quipped. “Let me guess, snot… cough… Snape must have been involved too.”

Black noticed Nietzsche across from Harry and swallowed back the unpleasant nickname.

“It could never be Snape!” Before Nietzsche could lazily retort, Harry interrupted, “The one who helped the dragon was Hermione. You don’t know her status in Snape’s hands. I dare say that ordinary Slytherins are not as high as her.”

"Really?" Blake asked, somewhat surprised.

"It's true, Gryffindor gets a lot of extra points in Potions class."

Nietzsche glanced at him, thinking: Don't forget, he also lost a lot of points because of the other Gryffindors.

Halfway through the revelry, Nietzsche noticed Dumbledore standing at the door watching him. After saying goodbye to his friends, he got up and left the hall, following the headmaster into the deserted courtyard.

The orange light shining from the window next to him made Dumbledore look lonely by the fountain, as if he were out of place among many beautiful things.

"I think I know who it is about Hermione... I need to shut my ears." The headmaster calmly cast a spell.

Nietzsche stepped closer, tilting his head slightly to indicate that he was listening.
